    I love this blouse and seeing you sew it up was a pleasure. I am able to see each step very clearly and although I am am an advanced sewer, I have a weird brain block with written instructions for unusually designed patterns. Your videos really help me internalize what needs to happen. I also appreciate that your tutorials are quiet and peaceful-you are a joy to watch. I just recently discovered Pattern Fantastique and have ordered several of her designs. I think they are beautiful & unusual in a classic way.

    I see the Phen blouse in silk, with a taffeta skirt and a sash at the waist. Stunning, just stunning blouse, thanks for showing us how to make it.

    Love your videos - so calming! Cutting this shirt out now and this is a godsend! So much easier than trying to fathom instructions that sometimes make no sense whatsoever. Thank you 😘

    While I don't know if this pattern is for me, the techniques are transferable to most collared button-downs. Such a valuable tutorial! I found you on Instagram and have already drafted a Maple skirt. Thanks for sharing your skills

    I have that pattern, is just fantastique🙃I made one in my size according to the guide, but I preferred to make the second one a size smaller and it fit better. Your work always beautiful, delicate and precise.

      Thanks for watching my video! I believe some people might prefer a smaller size for a more fitted oversized look. (Not sure there's such a word.) As for myself, I enjoy the oversized look of the bodice, but would like to adjust the waist to have a better fit on me.

    Thank you Sara so very much for sharing this video! I too find the instructions for the Phen shirt daunting, even though I’m an experienced sewist! Your beautiful video with relaxing music helped me transition through the process without stress, and made the whole so much more relaxing and fun ! And I believe I wouldn’t have had as good a finished product without it, Please keep it up !

    Your finished products always look so professionally well done.
    I have a question about sleeve methods, if an instruction says to see gathering stitches to take up ease, do I actually need to do that if I am not seeing side bodice seams first? I am sewing a jersey knit and I did not need to adjust for ease in attaching the sleeves so it felt like an unnecessary step.

    • @SewingTherapy
      @SewingTherapy  Рік тому +1

      I think so too. It's an unnecessary step especially since you're sewing with a knit fabric! :)

    Great shirt, and you have a comfortable style. Question, why is everything so oversized. I've noticed that in alot of fashion videos lately. I like the oversized look as long as it still looks like it fits. Not you large sized friends clothes. It tends to swap shirt women.
