      @BeRADMoto 6 років тому +42

      That’s a pretty ignorant comment. Although I don’t totally agree with how these rideouts go, to say that they aren’t talented is ridiculous. It is NOT easy to learn how to wheelie a dirtbike like they (we?) do. Also, I guarantee that any of those guys could do the same thing on a street bike. Hell, I was able to on my fz09. Yeah it was harder but I could do it. As for going to a track...well yeah. Anyone who doesn’t have track experience will struggle their first time. That doesn’t mean that they lose credibility in other disciplines of riding.

      Sure there are some guys that steal dirt bikes and use them on the street but not the majority. Saying they're all stolen is like saying every truck driver is a meth head... sterio typing people is a very narrow minded way to think.

    A lot of Urban “dirt bikers” put a bad name for us legal riders. A lot of these bikes running around are straight up stolen and the riders have no respect for anyone else on the road... It makes the cops crack down more on off-road vehicles. I have seen it firsthand living in Miami. If you want to ride your dirt bike on the road, go ahead and make it road legal. It’s not difficult whatsoever

(Pit maneuver) all over the world bikes are being used to commit violent crime.. especially two guys on a bike one jumps off and hijacks your bike at gun point. That is done in Europe all the time. These fucks are going to make it worse for all law abiding bikers.

    The opposite is kinda true in NH. You see quite a few dual sports with supermoto wheels. Why on earth would you mod your dual sport for pure on road use when there is some great off road trails within 30 min of your house? There is one trail in a state forest that I could push an unregistered off road bike there within 10 min of my front door. I get that a supermoto is fun and nimble but when there is so many dirt roads and trails why run on road tires? Most times I see someone with a supermoto they sold off their dirt rims on craigslist so they can't swap back for some off road fun.

    • @Theillestrator1050
      @Theillestrator1050  6 років тому +5

      Good point, I guess some people just like the aesthetic of a dirt bike but don't like dirt lol

    • @bikerbobcat
      @bikerbobcat 6 років тому +1

      I see a few supermoto commuters around here. Maybe because they like the suspension travel and power to hop curbs and lawns when they want to but not take it back in to the woods (if we had woods here of any size)

      In Ausrtralia I have a Honda CR500e. Fully road registered.
      250 of the last 2001 CR500s were allowed to be retrofitted with lights by some psychotic genius in government.
      Have put motard wheels on it and tricked the motor, and run a dirt pipe (slighty illegal).
      Fucking astonishing.
      Nothing can touch it up to 100mph. 16 years since it was built.
      It has taken my licence twice.
      Never understood motard before this bike.
      Now I do.

    Those guys are not talented. When I was in middle school I could ride wheelies like that. I also raced motocross. Winning races shows true talent. Riding wheelies on dirt is harder than on the street. Wheelies on the street is easy. I used to shift gears and use the rear brake and wheelie through turns slwing down and speeding up using the brake and gears. Racing on dirt knowing how to hit doubles and triples and taking good lines through corners...that is talent as fuck.

His dad was dirt poor but he loved his son and stayed around to raise him and scraped money so James could race. I love is Dad too cos he's normal. That's what dad's do.
