To anyone wondering I've had my blink mini outside on my shed through storms and winters and it has gotten wet and it works just fine. I have one and the basic subscription and I’m pretty happy with it. It’s on a table near my front door so I can catch any break ins, see when maintenance enters while I’m not home, check if my door is locked, see if guests let my cat out, etc. The motion sensor is a bit too sensitive at times but that’s fine. My only complaint is after it records for 30 seconds it must wait 10 seconds to record again. 60 seconds wasn’t available when I checked. But it’s better than nothing

you can choose the cloud which you pay for or on usb flash drive locally on their add-on Sync Module 2

you plug the flash drive into the sync module 2 that came with one of my blink cameras, then you can use that for the rest of your cameras.
