The hearing is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. EDT Sept. 24, 2024, and on the following dates:

Ah, so miss Rojas was a friend of the Rush family and Oceangate - that sheds light on her testimony last week.
Yes, she's a friend of the family and bustled here and there with the OceanGate staff. But I don't think Miss Rojas is simply lying or giving one side of the story to help her friends. I think she is a true believer in the cult. Her vocabulary is Stockton's--the specialized mumbo jumbo that he made up to cover that his operations were not meeting the requirements of the industry vocabulary. She says, "Stockton says..." the way preacher's say, "The Bible says..." They should have named the company HeavensGate.

I was looking forward for Karl Stanley to testify but he was so emotional today.
Well, Mr Stanley nailed it in the last 5 minutes. It was a crime, it was done by a criminal, and it was lunacy

It might be more accurate to say there was (probably) more than one crime.
sub maintenance crew working on a 20ft launch platform in heavy waves. One employee quit because he wouldn't do it. While more recent Oceangate members continue to claim there were never any dangers whatsoever.
Only the last 33 minutes of hearing survived on UA-cam. Hopefully The US Goast Guard can repost the full Sept 24 hearing.

@@teemyoutube2066 Thanks. usually the "live" video aitomatically turns to recorded one at time the stream ends. But this viode was of the tim athat retained only a certain duriation during stream and when they stopped stream retained only 33 minutes of it. But yeah, now they have the 6 hour version at th same URL.
With longer live streams it can take a while after it ends for the full stream to be up.
"the show must go on". This Oceangate Manager declined a paycheck to help Stockton Rush operate this dangerous submersible company.
I wish they had let Karl Stanley speak his mind. What he had to say was very interesting.

Listening to the OG counsel question Karl Stanley, it seems like even they threw in the towel on trying to defend their client.
Mr Stanley in his closing remarks was a little emotional. I can appreciate the difficulty of the USCG + NTSB panel have been tasked with.
They're doing a great job ensuring witness testimony doesn't stray from fact.

@@elizabethmagner2989 Coast Guard reported the full 6 hour so it is OK now. Also, we can't post URLs in youtube comments without risking a 24 or 38 hour suspension from comments. And when they suspend you they give no hint of why, so I learned the hard way after multiple suspensions.

She def drank the koolaid, her ignorance is glaring, seems like all the employees were deliberately pigeonholed and a lot of random menial tasks rather than explicit steps and actions without any clearly established roles and responsibilities, but rather just a lot of other things she didn't know or do for a "mission SPECIALIST" more like the extra help, gap funding, and wrench turning two clicks was enough of a torque check...omfg

Yeah, it seemed to mess up unless you were already watching it. My husband can't pull it up, but I can because I hadn't finished. It should be fixed pretty shortly.
"Mission Specialist" is starting to sound more and more like a deception to 'sneak' clients across the Canadian border in plain sight. If not illegal, it does sound very deceitful.
