I live in the boreal forest and I should have said that in my video, as what is here may not be applicable where you live - Навчання та стиль
Hello from Cleveland Ohio! I just came across this video (and your channel) when I was looking up 'how to make Dandelion salve'. This video was the only video I scrolled through and wanted to watch. Video was paused half way so that I could look up your channel profile, I then subscribed immediately. I know I will learn so much from your videos! Thank you!❤ I will next look to see if you have Dandelion salve video 🤞😊
thank you so much. you will love the salve, I use it all year for lots of things
I think it was you that gave us the comfrey salve I gave that to Mike's son for bug bites and allergy type reaction to the bugs
It helped him he took it home with him 💞
I'm glad it helped him
yes, I think it was I that gave it to you. glad it helped him
I made today but added also Yarrow and Calendula as well ❤
Good morning Cindy. I hate Blackflies, but unfortunately they love me. ☹️. Those salves sound very interesting, thanks for sharing. Have a lovely week. God bless. 🙂👍🏻🙏🏻💕💕
thank you for watching Ian
Oh wow! Learned something new about black flies. Thank you so much for sharing.
thank you for watching
So sorry you got ate up by them mean little black flies. I didn't know that they pollinated blueberries. Thanks for the info. Great video. I need to order your salves. ❤❤❤
Made a comfrey, plantain, rosemary, spearmint salve with coconut oil, castor oil & olive oil. Have been massaging extremely painful cramping & burning feet! Good deep rub, sometimes in front of heat to aid absorption!Makes all the difference in being able to sleep & greatly aids nerve damaged areas ❤💪❤️
Are you using solid coconut oil or liquid
@@sallymccreary4086 Depends on temperature of it! If it coolls down in the room, it is more solid! Has been 70-80° F here, so it has been mainly liquid the last few days! I warmed it just enough to mix. But also used a lil olive oil & castor oil. I keep a small baby spoon by the jar in case it's more liquid!
Nice sideline, Cindy. It was mosquitoes here today. Thank you for sharing this with us. Stay safe and stay cool
ya, i think we are going through that transition here too, mosquitoes are now driving me crazy
Oh my goodness dear heart. Ouch. Fantastic video though. Thank you.
Good video Cindy , thanks for sharing , God bless !
thank you Michael
nice tutorial sister, hv a nc day💖💖
thank you
You look great Cindy!!! Sorry about the bites 🏍
Thanks Steve
great tutorial
thank you
Ouch! I have tons of plantain but no comfrey! Great salve.
love my comfrey, i have tame and it grows wild on the property, although the wild doesn't have as big of leaves
You have saved me from making a big mistake. I was going to add blueberries to our growing group of fruit bushes and trees. Definitely do not need any biting insects.
I blueberry picked hundreds of pounds of blueberries for summer hobs for years. I was never bit by any bugs while I did it. I think she is discussing what we call no see ems and black flies. They both bite and May be in your fields but blueberries are pollinated by bumble bees and most blueberry farms bring in rented hives for the season.
yes I am talking about the no see ems, I live in the boreal forest and I guess I should explain that that is what pollinates them here, not everywhere
@@cindysquirrelloffgrid9514 oh thanks for clarifying. Always wanted blueberries. I'll check into it more.
🇺🇸🙋♀️🐴👍🏻🍃 Very interesting!
thank you
Thank you 😊
That's right up here it's the only thing that pollinates blueberries so we need to put up with the swarms of them
and it's not like they last all summer
I didn’t know that about black flies. I figured the birds and bats need to eat them to survive so we tolerate them.
now you know. now just to find out what a mosquito is for
@@cindysquirrelloffgrid9514 google says that black flies do not pollinate blueberries that it’s an old folklore and mosquito drink nectar and pollinate many flowering plants
Thought mosquitoes drink blood? They're like little vampires 😠
OMG, we have blueberries and I keep getting stung by something I haven't been able to see. Terrible burning pain then itching. So I'm thinking this is what has been biting me. I will be making this combo ASAP!
oh they are terrible little bugs, hope it helps
They chew my neck up everytime I'm gardening, they hurt and itch for days.
What labels are you using for your salves?
I ordered them from Jam Labelizer, I really like the quality and price
