Thank you for pointing this out. To everyone asking: "Will I lose hair after a hair transplant?" The answer is unfortunately YES. While hair transplant surgery may seem tempting as a quick fix to the external symptom of hair loss, it is not actually a solution for the underlying problem. Why? - A hair transplant, does not stop the ongoing process of hair loss. - You will continue to lose hair between and behind the transplanted hairs. Additionally, a hair transplant is still surgery. What your surgeon may not tell you is that the transplant procedure itself is very traumatic. So traumatic that it will cause your newly transplanted hairs to fall out 2-3 weeks after the surgery and then take 8-12 months before the scalp recovers enough to start growing hair again. The number one first step I recommend is a comprehensive consultation with a hair regrowth specialist who will perform lab tests to determine the underlying cause of your thinning. Without labs, no-one can really know what your true cause is and any treatment will be temporary at best. From here, you can receive the best treatment for your hair loss with minimal side effects. Hair loss is genetic. 50% of men and 25% of women inherit a biochemical imbalance within their bodies that leads to hair loss. Hair loss is also affected by lifestyle. The environment and our lifestyle also impact hair health and hair growth. You can save most, if not all your hair if you take your hair loss seriously and start out with the right product. Something personalized and with a prescription is the only REAL solution, and you deserve to know what it is. 1. I would recommend seeing a Hair Regrowth Specialist who can perform labs for DNA and biochemistry review to provide you with a definitive diagnosis of what is causing your hair loss/thinning. From there, you can find a proper way to treat it. 2. Any medicine that actually can make changes inside your body, are required under the FDA to be available by prescription only. This therefore means that it is not possible for anything that does not require a prescription to cure or prevent hair loss or regrow thinning hair. Thus, a personalized regrowth regimen will be the best choice because instead of a "one size fits all" approach, you will be taking something which is truly catered to your body. TODAY, with SCIENCE we can SEE and MEASURE those imbalances and our nutrition- certified medical doctors can diagnose the Cause in your blood and provide you a supplement that will reverse the condition for your entire life. You deserve better, and the right treatment is out there. Good luck on your search.
Could Finasteride cause a male to become infertile? or to better word it, do you know anyone who was taking finasteride who had kids while on the drug or took it previously?
Please continue to make the videos...It feels good how both of you talk so optimistically about hair loss and its treatments...I would love for you guys to make a video on your own experiences of hair loss patients, and the statistics of which worked more and which didn't..and when is a cure expected!
Your videos are very informative so thank you. I was hoping if you could you make a video on using 320mg Saw Palmetto tablet's a day to stop hair loss in men as oppose to using Finasteride. I have read in multiple places this is the Natural remedy to using Finasteride and has the same effects. Could you compare the 2 please. Thank You
Hey I took your advice and started taking finasteride 1mg 3 times a week , my hair still falls out a fair bit when I run my hands through it I’ve been on it for 3 months what should I do ?
Finasteride only works for a short period of time. It works for just a few hours a day (its half-life is 6 hours). Finasteride does a poor job of actually blocking DHT production. In fact, it only blocks 1 out of 3 types of DHT receptors. That means hair loss is STILL taking place while you are using the medication. This combined with the short half life means that Propecia is about 60% effective at stopping DHT from thinning your hair. Finasteride is not customized to the individual. Like millions of Big Pharma medications out there, the exact same dose of Finasteride is given to people who have different heights, weights and biochemistry. This means that men who want to stop hair loss for good can take the recommended dose of Finasteride every day, and experience nasty side effects for no good reason! While for other's their dose may be insufficient to even reduce DHT by the 60% it is rated at. It is also worth noting that any medicine that actually can make changes inside your body, are required under the FDA to be available by prescription only. This therefore means that it is not possible for anything that does not require a prescription to cure or prevent hair loss or regrow thinning hair. Thus, a personalized medicine will be the best choice because instead of a "one size fits all" approach, you will be taking something which is truly catered to your body's needs. anyone out there who is trying to start fin and they are scared trust me it's not as scary or as dangerous as people are talking about it these 2 amazing doctors are great.I started losing hair around 1 years ago so i started using Fin 3 times a week 4 months ago i with Minoxidil i had a little bit libido decreasing like 10-15% but now i am great my sexual drive is back to normal despite not going to the gym and not sleeping well because of corona virus lol. So don't be scared , take consultant first with doctor and hope it will workout for everyone
@@HaMaNezam my personal experience it creeps up on you slowly. You go off finastride and you realise how much it does effect you. Believe me, if you can handle the side effects, its the best to stop hairloss.
Most new people who are after HT only think about number of grafts and how much it costs. They forget to think how skilled the doctor is and how much of the work is the doctor gonna do. Personally when I went for a HT I picked a doctor who did most of the work himself and only takes one patient per day and is ISHRS member and has enough experience and solid results/reviews. Some people say wow when they hear I paid 3800€ because they have heard prices of 2000€ or lower.

I'm on finasteride and minoxidil from 3 months, everything is going fine but, I sometimes shed very thick hair which is thicker from root and get thinner towards the top and have black bulb on the root, I shed very few of them, is it normal?

I tried 2 months ago to take 1 mg a day but saw that after a week or two that my hair became diffrent , at the hairline ( i also use minox 5%, just for the hairline ) it became like weaker and more shrinking hairs . Is this possible ? Plz whats your advice how to take it with the best effect to keep your hair healthy with lesser side effects? Or is there no other option than keep taking 2 mg if i want to keep my hair ? Thank you
