The Alcácer Bypass is located in the Linha do Sul (South Line) and is used by intercity and tilting trains to and from Algarve. With a maximum speed of 200 km/h for conventional trains and 220 km/h for tilting trains allows to reduce up to 10 minutes from each journey.
