Anyone visiting the Alps region must take this ride up to shynige platte, the ride on the steam locomotive is an experience in itself and the stunning views are just breathtaking, it is less crowded and once at the top there is a beautiful hike. I am so glad i did this last year in Swutzerland.
I look at videos of other Countries - which all have their attractions........but.... then I'm reminded just how truly beautiful in so many ways Switzerland really is!

I saw the Wilderswil Bahnhoff several times but have not stopped to board the Schynige Platte Bahn. I have seen several hike videos along the ridge and have that on my b-list.

Absolutely stunning views of the bernese oberland,been to Switzerland 🇨🇭 so many times(13 at last count),zurich last year,staying in Austria 🇦🇹,having covered most of the country from lake Geneva to the bodensee,basel to chiasso,the grisons in the southeast of(ch),love the splendour of Switzerland, luzern,montreux,zurich,(expensive place,but worth it).
