I just bought this product, it’s really nice and your video is very informative but you forgot to mention that this vacuum has a v8 car complex, the thing eats water with solution so fast LOL
I just bought mine yesterday…all I gotta say is wow wow wow.and it’s not as loud as some of the other ones I’ve had,and that steam along with it does so much justice
I had a Bissell cleaner for 10 years finally the small internal hose broke and I could not find how to get to it. I bought this one today and can see how much Bissell has improved their product. I hope I can get 10 years out of this new one. You have included much more than anyone else about how to use this machine. Thanks so much.
Great video! I got one yesterday and thought it was broken because the brush didn't move in steam mode, and it seemed to shut off. Your video explained it all and was more helpful than anything else I could find.
Actually bought the revolution pet pro plus yesterday. After much research last night I returned it today and purchased this model. Very thorough review… One thing I learned amongst the many videos is you get a much better result on the handheld attachments if you pre spray with a spray bottle and agitate with a brush.
I feel like steam in a gimmick on this machine.. I have the pet pro blah blah from bissell and it seems to do just as good as this. If you want real steam, then you need to buy a legit steamer. At 399 for this, I'd also look at that rug doctor unit for a bit more.
Thank you for the review of this machine! This just arrived at my doorstep this morning, and I’m really exited to try it out! Your videos are so amazing and helpful. I have the portable Shark px201 and debated whether or not to get a Shark upright to target larger areas - the steam on this one is a game changer! I’m glad I didn’t the Shark upright! This Bissell is one beautiful machine, and like you said, it’s likely the machine of the year! 🥂
I have been thinking of buying this since April and I wish I would’ve it was 350 for a good while when it first came out. But I ordered it tonight and I’m so excited watching your video! I’m picking it up tomorrow
Thanks a million. This was one of the best reviews I've seen. Everyone just shows the wonderful cleaning power but the cleaning up and the other details are lacking in other reviews so thanks. Do you know where I can purchase an extra belt and roller. I want to have some back ups just in case. I bought this vacuum and it's wonderful. Just a warning though if you don't like heavy vacuum cleaners this is definitely not for you especially a female. It's pretty heavy and you feel it as a female when vacuuming with this
This is hands down the best review of this product I've seen thus far! It's amazing to me that you have all these professional outlets reviewing this product, and they're terrible reviews... Now that i've watched this, i'm going to unbox the one that's been sitting in my living room for a month, l o l.
I just bought this today. Hopefully it was worth the price tag. I have yet to see anyone clean oil and grease stains with it, which is a main reason I purchased.
Idk If I'd buy this for oil and grease.. I have the pro heat X2, it is this machine minus the "steam" and while it works very well for dirt and kids spills, I'm not sure it would help for oil or grease. I'd look into something more commercial like the rug doctor or bissell green machine, or get a real steam machine because I feel like the steam on this is more of a gimmick then real steam. I'd like to know how you like it..
@anh7807 could pretreat the oily carpet areas with a degeeaser like simple green for 20 minutes before shampooing. I've done this a time or two without issue. Never hurt my machines either.
I made the mistake of inserting the handle in its top receiver BEFORE the receiver was installed on the body of the machine. I had to remove four screws in the upper receiver, in order to release the handle to pull it out of the receiver. The handle MUST be installed in the upper receiver AFTER the receive is first installed in the body of the machine!
He went the hard way😁. Also majority of people ignore the user manual for what ever reason whether they think there is nothing complicated and can figure it out or just don’t have time for reading or both. I repair appliances everyday for work and I see problems that could have easily be prevented if people just read the manual first:))
Thank you! You just answered some questions I had and some I didn't know I had. I just wonder if it works also on tails or hard wood floors, even though I would not use it on wood floors.
Thankyou, mine came yesterday wanted to know how to use it properly, I do have the bissell spot cleaner small advice and using the handheld attachments it says only spray while the attachment is touching the carpet not from above as I noticed you did that 😅
I love my Shark vacuums but I imagine their carpet cleaner will be more costly per square foot over time. The steam with the Bissell is most likely better too.
Fantastic video mate. All the way from Australia. Listen I bought the same one just because I really like this particular device. There is a metal bracket underneath the roller heads. did ou have a metal bracket Bissell told me to leave it there for some reason.
I have no spray coming out of the handheld upholstery attachment. I have primed the pump with the ballpoint pen as instructed and tried to clear the spray nozzle with a paperclip. I still have no solution spray.
I don’t mind if it uses more solution that a lot of other machines; as long as you go over the carpet several times in as many directions as you can to extract as much water, it should be fine. It’s also worth going over the carpet again with plain hot water to extract as much soap as possible. Soap is sticky and left in a carpet, will attract more dirt and make it dirtier quicker.
Like I told you I am a professional carpet and upholstery cleaner and what you want to do on upholstery is to spray the whole entire seat of the chair and make your way from the back of the chair to the front of the chair and then you make your next pass a little bit over and continue to go from the back of the chair to the front of the chair and keep on doing that until you get all the way to the left of the the seat of the chair or which ever side you start from but you always want to start from the top of the chair to the bottom of the chair unless of course the back of the chair that your back is laying on and go from the top of the chair all the way to the bottom of the seat and you that all the way down the chair and then at the bottom you want to make a cross pass so you get all of the water sucked awa. If you have a seat cushion that is able to be removed make sure you remove it before you start going down the chair to clean it. Then you want to spray the solution on the arms of the chair and you want togo from the side of the chair all the way down to where the cushion is you don't want to go straight across to the front of the chair you always want to go across the arm of the chai and never go from the back of the arm to the front of the arm you always want to go from the side of the arm down to the bottom where the seat cushion is or you might ruin your fabric and then you want to go to the bottom of the arm of your chair where it meets the seating position and go across to the front of the chair to get all the excess water that has drip down to the seat cushion, if the seat cushion cannot be removed then just go as far down as you can to where the water has dripped and go all the way to the front of the arm. The other thing you'll also want to look for is what type of material it is because if it is floral it's a possibility it could bleed and if it is Asian cotton you have to clean it a certain way and use a certain solution otherwise you will get all the cotton seeds showing and you will have all black dots on the material and it's almost impossible to get them to go away, there is a lot to know about cleaning upholstery it is not like cleaning carpet unless you are cleaning certain types of Asian rugs and you have to use a different method you cannot use water, it is a lending curve that you won't have to live with when you make a mistake and clean certain materials the wrong way and end up ruining them. Most carpet you can clean just about any way you want you just have to make sure that you get all of the cleaning solution rinsed or you are going to attract it faster as soap attracts dirt very best this is why you cannot clean carpets with cleaning solution you need to rinse out the clean water with the detergent in it and rinse the carpet with just water to get up all the soap.
Sells for $999.00 in Australia! Obviously they won't find many buyers at this ptice! But I have already seen it t for #789.00 with free postage. Even this is too high for an appliance that no doubt will wear out quickly. How often would you steam clean your carpets per year? 2 times? 3 times, 4? At the very most, unless you have an accident and then it would be a spot clean only. Unlike the vacuum, that may be used daily. So $999.00 is a ridiculous price! $789.00 still too much!
First, the Bissell instructional video shows the steam setting used in a set position, not run back, and forth, to loosen a stain - not the entire space being cleaned. Also, when using the steam clean max setting, the vacuum is moved back and forth a bit slower than this demonstration indicates.
any appliance that heats water needs to be descaled... I wonder what the procedure for that is? I'm guessing adding vinegar/water to the solution tank and then spraying or something. I haven't read the manual.
