- Ken Block and Ford Motor Company’s exclusive partnership has brought in some real hardware over the past decade in rally and rallycross. 19 race wins plus 17 other podium finishes, 2 X Games medals, well over a billion video views across Block’s social media platforms, and the first ever World Rally Championship points scored for the brand by an American driver. As of January 2021, that exclusivity comes to an end, with Block becoming a free agent. And that means his options behind the wheel are now wide open.
“Working with Ford over the past decade has been awesome.” says Ken Block. “From racing all over the world, to accumulating a half billion views from Gymkhana THREE to Gymkhana TEN, to creating the Emmy nominated series The Gymkhana Files for Amazon Prime - along with building a fleet of Fords including the iconic AWD Mustang Hoonicorn and F-150 Hoonitruck - it’s been a great partnership. It’s simply been a dream come true to work with the company that built the truck that my Dad drove when I was a teenager. I’m super appreciative to Ford for the support over the years, but I am also looking forward to what an unrestricted 2021 holds, and the ability to spread my wings a bit and play with a lot other toys.
2020 was a big year for Block and his Ford vehicles. He took the overall win at Rally Barbados in a WRC2 Ford Fiesta, won his class (and 3rd overall) at Rally Legend in San Marino in his Ford Escort Cossie V2, and also won the first ever Projekt E race of the FIA World RallyCross Championship in Holjes, Sweden, in a Ford Fiesta. Along with winning races, Block and Hoonigan launched the all-new viral video series,- Hoonicorn Vs The World. Spanning 11 episodes, the series features Ken racing his 1965 Ford Mustang RTR Hoonicorn against a variety of wild vehicles including a McLaren Senna and the World’s Fastest Donk. The series has been viewed over 34 million times since its launch in late November.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a fellow Christian myself and I do get what you are trying to say but there is a better way of sharing this common belief that we have and we don't force it to others right away or else they'd be discouraged to know who God really is to them, no, to all of us. And besides, everyone has their own choice and we should respect and let them decide on their own. At this time of mourning about the loss of Ken Block, you should at least respect the whole community too. We should not force them to believe in our faith, we can't change people by our sheer strength alone but God can. You cannot consider yourself a true Christian if you're trying to force others to believe in this kind of faith that we have and God himself wouldn't be pleased by that. You can't just terrorize non-believers minds or feeling through this heaven and hell thing that is written in Scripture and it only drives them further away instead they're getting encourage to learn more about Him. Jesus himself didn't force everyone to believe in Him that he is the God, he even started his conversation with his two disciples (if I'm not wrong) by asking them "what do you need?". Again, the whole point is there is a better way of reaching out people by not acting like a privileged perfect "Christian", but rather being a down to earth person too and respecting their mourns too (knowing that you don't conform to the pattern of this world and that is written on Romans if I'm not wrong). Whether you are a believer or not, at the end of the day, we're just same human beings, we aren't perfect but we are also capable of sharing each other's pain and connect with other people. We are just like puzzles that's meant to be connected with other pieces to become a big beautiful picture if you get what I'm trying to point at.

It’s sad seeing legends like the hoonicorn get tucked away in a corner when it has so much life and honestly I could never see the hoonicorn in such a bad condition that all it can do is just sit there I mean let’s be honest yes everyone knows the glory and potential of the hoonicorn but only when it’s being drove & pushed to it’s limit do we actually see it’s true potential and true glory in action. (I just hope ken passes it down to someone worthy of her)

Saying goodbye to the hoonicorn was tough for me but I never thought I’d have to say goodbye to the man himself. I’ve cried more than I ever have for any other “celebrity” this man was the biggest inspiration in my life. Not for the cars he drove,but for the man he was.

She was getting old for sure, you could hear her heart dying during this one final send off, but at least she held herself together to be able to work with Ken in sync with him for a heartfelt sendoff. I'm glad she's still alive and now retired, it'd've broken ma heart if we watched her engine blow, so this is the best ending for me 🥲
Was lucky enough to see v 2 at SEMA 2016. It wasn't being driven but still damn cool. And ive got my own pictures as memories!

So happy to see the algorithm has brought this back to me. I really miss him so much. Always a class act. Even humble and often a tad shy. But my favorite accomplish I've loved watching is his belief in his daughter Lia. Man knows talent when he sees it. But what a Dad and teacher.. let's his protégé drive a beast of a car that worries a sane person (OL) And she does it like it's almost getting boring.. not to mention her rally car and again, Dad's entire support.
I hope Lia is OK. She has good folks around her.

Man, Ken Block was a great guy. Watching videos of him drift the impossible always made a bad day good, the way he coordinated motorsport is immeasurable to anyone else. A true legend who will live on through his signature mustang and through his daughter who he taught how to drive but not just to drive he taught her how to race. He’s a father, A son, maybe one day a grandfather. He’s a genius. One of the greatest drivers of all time. Rest in Peace Ken Block ❤️

It's really hard to see and hear Ken speak when I know in my heart he will never be here in person but will definitely be here in all of our hearts. Legitimately the end of an era with Ken Block no longer partnered with Ford this is the end of a long and LOUD ass journey.
Such a tragic loss. I will be remembering Ken on my show, Speedway Chat Live, Wed. 1/11. I don't know how many of his vids I've watched but I am always entertained. Rest in Peace and God Speed Ken Block.

Vaughn Gitten is driving his cars in competition and when they asked him what he wanted to try he asked for that all electric Mach e which is a line of the future they are trying to go with. So it does make me wonder what happened between them. Sad because it’s not just the hoonicorn it’s all of them and we will never see the fox.
