    Lovely video, I made your washing up liquid it’s great, so made the shampoo, oh my goodness my hair feels great just after one use, I am in my late 70s, so proving we can always learn. I started this part of my journey well to be honest installing UA-cam on my iPad and checking what’s on it, found some great gardening videos, then spotted cold process soap making, so started making our own soap last year, from that to body sugar scrub and butters, I then found your channel and now I have fallen in love with your ideology on products in the home. So with your busy life as a young mum you find time to share different ideas and products with us, thank you. I will now make these products for my old face. Never to late. Love from Australia

    Laura, I watch a ton of various related channels and consider YOUR channel a staple in my apothecary journey. Thank you for all your knowledge and hard work in creating these videos. I've been watching for a long time now. Your videos are beautifully shot and the quality and effort put into them is obvious. Maybe its just me, but I always have to turn the volume down to watch because the way your voice is recorded comes across very loud, a bit jarring. I have no place telling you how to produce your work, its great...just my humble, nerdy marketing feedback. I'm so happy you're out there building this resource for people who want natural alternatives in self care.

    This has been great! Watching and listening to you is so calming and simple. Most UA-cam channels are too full of things that people use to try and catch people's attention but with your channel, it's so simple and fun to watch. Thank you for the hard work and all the effort you put in to make the content. Just wanted to encourage you to keep going and know that you are making a difference in the lives of others. I love watching your channel. It's inspiring. Many blessing ♥

    I was doing research on rose oil and how it's been around for centuries for beauty treatments. It's just soooooo expensive! I bit the bullet and bought a tiny tiny bottle of it and going to start incorporating it into my natural skin care routine 🙃

    Jojoba oil breaks out my face and extremely bad for my hair. But coconut oil does wonders for me. I recently made myself a sunscreen/tanning/ bug repellent with shea butter and coconut butter with lavender. It worked well but for the bug repellent not so long. Next time I am going to put coconut oil.

    To anyone watching this, please be very careful putting coconut oil on your face. I have very sensitive skin and I tried using coconut oil because it's supposed to be natural and gentle. Well, I ended up with the worst acne, and I'm in my 40s!! It was so bad it caused scarring =( I would not ever recommend putting coconut oil on anyone's face. Thankfully my skin is now all healed up, as this was 1 year ago, and no more acne or anything. It was definitely the coconut oil to blame for this.

      I agree! I cant use it either on my skin or my hair. I use a high quality organic pure cold pressed Jojoba oil instead.

    • @katie7748
      @katie7748 4 місяці тому

      Coconut oil is comedogenic, that's why. For some bizarre reason, some people can use it with no issues. I am not one of those people. Not even a little bit.

    • @katie7748
      @katie7748 4 місяці тому

      Everyone's skin is different, but jojoba and castor are both good either by themselves, together, or as carrier oils for things like tea tree or rosemary oils. Tea tree, rosemary, and many other essential oils can be great for skin. Trial and error, internet stranger. And prayer LOL lots of prayer!

I just wanted to clarify that in the face wash, it is 2 Tbs of honey and not 2 tsp? In another video you said 2 tsp so I just wanted to make sure. The first batch I made the other day I just put 2 tsp of honey in it. Thanks again! ❤️

      Combine the essential oils in a separate jar, first, to see if you like the smell. If you don't like it, don't use that blend in a recipe. Or change the proportion, keep adding other eo until you like the smell. Then use that in a recipe :)
