The reason Princess Peach and Toadsworth lied about her voice was so Bowser wouldn't kidnap her. She knew that cackletta was not completely defeated, only trick so it was a good idea to send the brothers to the bean bean kingdom together with bowser
One of my favourite mario games of all time its an all time classic also this series has my favourite portrayals of Luigi and Bowser they got so much personality and are hilarious
I disagree. I think Paper Mario has the better villians. X-Nauts, Lord Crumps, Grodus, Hooktail, Count Bleck, Dimentio, Mr. L, Mimi, O'Chunk, etc. With Mario & Luigi, the only ones that stood out to me is Cackletta, Midbus and especially Fawful.
The Bowser's Minions story gameplay isn't that good but the story itself is really good and gives a lot more lore to the base game. For example, the Invincibility Mushroom was actually a poison mushroom that the minions accidentally switched with the Invincibility Mushroom in a side mission. And more importantly, fawful was actually already planning the events of bowser's inside story during superstar saga and was already planning to betray cackletta
I actually can’t decide which is the better version of the game. The remake has arguably superior visuals and quality of life changes, meanwhile the original IG version has a debatably better soundtrack and the more memorable sound effects kinda enhance the comedy. At least the hammer bros don’t have those demonic eyes anymore, that Bowletta used to scare the SHIT out of me when I was a little kid. In fact Cackletta really sucks as a villain when you really think about it. She had little to no personality, her villainous plans and motive were super cliche and Fawful was implied to have done all the dirty work (I also couldn’t STAND the final boss). Also if Toadsworth told Mario and Luigi that Peach’s voice was never stolen; then Bowser would still try to kidnap her, not to mention that Cackletta and Fawful would eventually realize that they were deceived attack the Mushroom Kingdom which would potentially put BOTH kingdoms in danger. All that aside I really enjoyed this video, great job👍.
Weird that you didn't even mention how the remake picks and chooses what characters to keep and who to redesign into a more generic NSMB look. Like, DK isn't even here, just a regular skeleton who still speaks monkey, or the Sprout and fat Koopas just having normal Koopa proportions, even though the corresponding Dry Bones still have the old look. It's just weird and takes me out of the experience tbh
Fair, honestly I kinda forgot about them changing the DK Skelton as my Playthrough of the remake was a morso casual run compared to to the GBA Version especially since some recording footage of the GBA one got corrupted so I recorded more footage of the remake to compensate for it and thought it looks really nice But I do understand if someone would prefer the original version since the two have way different art styles
Luigi is Funny

When the remake came out, I didn't even know it was a remake for a good chunk of time.

I truly think that mario & luigi has better antagonists then the paper mario games

And Bowser Jrs Journey has the whole Bowser Jr character arc with him growing up
Saw that the Paper Jam video was recently uploaded, but I never saw the previous M&L videos (or anything from this channel, hi), so here I am.
This is my very first RPG I've played. So my biased might be showing. No matter. Because this game is still great and it's my favorite of the series.
i like the essence of the game though i never beat it or even played it that much
Very good video!
Lunick and Kellyn RPG
