The perseverance is real. Capra demon, and cursed in the same video. Best one yet. Catacombs attempts are doomed. There should be a note or a clue somewhere that says “Bring a torch and a divine weapon.” Great example of Dark souls, being Dark Souls. Necromancers drop a lantern as well that is incredibly nice.
I came into the stream durig the sewer section so this is my first time seeing your capra demon fight. You did such a good job on him! Its one of the hardest fight in the game i think.

There are always more details to notice about the levels and environment. The world of DS1 is connected with purpose and intent. Item descriptions give significant hints as to their purpose and the lore of Dark Souls. While I'd say that story spoilers or guides on where to go should be avoided at all costs on your first playthrough, don't hesitate to look up game mechanics or statistics that you don't understand the meaning of. The in-game systems and explanations are pretty opaque, and multiple aspects aren't mentioned at all, like the details of how invasions or multiplayer work. A completely spoiler-free example: the words "Disasters are gone after the defeat of the Gravelord Servant". This is in reference to another player "infecting" your world through multiplayer, which doesn't have any impact on you at all in NG, only on players in NG+ or beyond.
I really don't like it when people post unsolicited spoilers in the form of advice like telling new players to kill the gold guy. Not killing him results in an interesting turn of events and is one of the memorable parts of the game especially when you don't see it coming. But you guys would rather rob new players of that experience for the sake of an optimized run. A first playthrough is not supposed to be optimized. It's fine to give advice for basic gameplay stuff, but there are some things are best experienced blind.

If you see this, @balance4724, clearly your experience has already been spoiled, but people haven't mentioned that you WILL lock yourself out on multiple benefits by doing what people have advised you. It's your choice.

After you get adjusted to your weapon. Endurance is bae in this game. It manages your equip load and stamina. Poise in this game is a monster.
