Elden Ring: Spam-dodge, heavy swords = Cotton woll impact and so on... DARK Souls: wrong Button Press = near death/death, heavy swords = heavy ass impact Thats why i hate elden Ring and Love DARK Souls!
level wise? yes. Bosses give you much many more occasions to roll back after getting hit. In elden ring you get caught unprepared in some endless combo and you're done. Only Gael in his final phases has that unforgiving chains of attacks. Maybe not a coincidence I think Gael is basically a preview of Elden Ring. Ok maybe even 3d stage Friede. But ds 1 becomes hard only in the dlc and by hard I mean you have to actually learn the move set and not just roll last second improvising
Elden rings enemies attack like they are on coke, and he’s surprised that ds1 enemies are fast? Also he was being greedy withe zwei strong attacks, and leaving himself without stamina to dodge
@@balance4724 take it from me, as a nerd of these games you disliked dark souls 1 the same way people disliked ds2, you just ignored the enemies and they ganged you.
Avoids killing enemies. Can't level up or upgrade weapons as result. Conclusion: the game is bad. How did you survive Elden Ring like that? Also you might want to change the jump button to L3 in the option menu.
That's coz DS1 rewards patience while you do the complete opposite and just keeps running around and thinks it'll be a breeze coz you finished ER 😂 didn't gave the time to get to know the game. You're in a different neighborhood now bro 😂
@balance4724 Ive read some of the comments since and see youve been taking tips. My comment was rather harsh so let me tell you what I think you couldve done better instead of simply hating. 1: dont rush past everything. I think someone who played elden ring should get trough the game with relative ease, but you cannot just rush past all the enemies 2: you cant do a lot of attacks in a row, especially with such a big weapon. Take it slow. Youre doing a lot of damage. Getting one hit in at a time, you could probably beat the gargoyles in less than 5 minutes. You got too much of that elden ring aggressive stagger greed style gameplay (which works really well in ER, not so much in DS. Especially since theres no standardized stagger system like in ER). Or for the gargoyles, pop some souls, grind some hollows (honestly a run or two of the 3 hollow before Andre the blacksmith should suffice), buy some titanite from Andre and upgrade your Zwei to +5. You will literally 2-shot the gargs. 3: you already read this, but definetly bind jump to L3. Bloodborne is the only FromSoft game that you cant do this in to this date. 4: Use shields for an even easier time (though kinda boring and Im thinking you wont really need them) 5: like all from games, read item descriptions, listen closely to what npcs say to get a rough idea of what your goal is Honestly someone who beat ER should have no trouble with DS if they slow down.
@@balance4724 Just change "ugh fromsoft didnt know how to make games back then" to "oh i didnt expect that" or you could compare the encounter to something in elden ring and how its evolved and etc. Be positive and thoughtful in your criticism, it definitely will land better with people. Just my two cents after watching a few similar videos lately(like Sid's).
This is a very slow game so you need to be methodical and patient you can't rush, movement takes time to learn and dodging with positioning can help you alot and like elden ring you can explore and and level up for later challenges
@balance4724 np, try learning how to dodge some attacks without rolling (doesn't work on all attacks) and also when learning how to beat a boss try to survive for as long as possible before incorperating attacks. Hope this strategy works

@@skillissuehaver ok thanks for clarifying
Not even the gargoyles? Oooof
Yeah I did beat them but that’s in the next video
Elden Ring: Spam-dodge, heavy swords = Cotton woll impact and so on...
DARK Souls: wrong Button Press = near death/death, heavy swords = heavy ass impact
Thats why i hate elden Ring and Love DARK Souls!
Cool
level wise? But ds 1 becomes hard only in the dlc and by hard I mean you have to actually learn the move set and not just roll last second improvising
nice
Thanks dude
Elden rings enemies attack like they are on coke, and he’s surprised that ds1 enemies are fast? Also he was being greedy withe zwei strong attacks, and leaving himself without stamina to dodge
I was tweaking but present me is liking the game more. Part 3 coming tomorrow…
People over hype tf out of this game
Yeah ive got still got to playthrough this game to form a opinion
@balance4724 thats wat im doing but im doing it to talk my shit when im done people literally are just saying skill issue to bad game design
wHaT tHe HeCk?
Que?
Dark souls is better
I feel like elden ring is also an awful game to start of when it comes to souls games
Yeah it’s everything else seems just so much worse once you’ve played Elden ring.
@@balance4724 dark souls 2 definitely has better dual wielding
Ive heard DS2 is the is the worst DS game but I’m excited to try it
@@balance4724 take it from me, as a nerd of these games you disliked dark souls 1 the same way people disliked ds2, you just ignored the enemies and they ganged you.
Hopefully what I’ve heard is wrong
looks like you should stick to ER
That’s not the only game I’ve played ya know

@@balance4724 sarcasm ?
My first souls games is elden and tbh after all the suffering from eldenring DS 1 is rather easy😅
At least in my opinion that is😅
Skill issue. Gwyn is disappointed in you
I bet Gwyn will be easier than gargoyles 😭🙏
😂Focus on 1 gargoyle kill him then its alot easier, also a faster weapon would help plus the shield
It’s not a difficult boss, I just got to get used to the “stiffness” of the movement
Avoids killing enemies.
Can't level up or upgrade weapons as result.
Conclusion: the game is bad.
How did you survive Elden Ring like that?
Also you might want to change the jump button to L3 in the option menu.
Oh I didn’t know you could change the jump button. Thanks 🙏

Thanks
Bruh😂
😩👍
That's coz DS1 rewards patience while you do the complete opposite and just keeps running around and thinks it'll be a breeze coz you finished ER 😂 didn't gave the time to get to know the game. You're in a different neighborhood now bro 😂
Is DS1 the hardest souls game? Because the others weren’t as annoying
@@balance4724not really hard, game much slower than other souls, but you need to be more patient and go through locations step by step.
Wow the amount of skill issue and crying lol
Consort Radahn easier than these gargoyles
@balance4724 Ive read some of the comments since and see youve been taking tips. My comment was rather harsh so let me tell you what I think you couldve done better instead of simply hating.
1: dont rush past everything. I think someone who played elden ring should get trough the game with relative ease, but you cannot just rush past all the enemies
2: you cant do a lot of attacks in a row, especially with such a big weapon.
4: Use shields for an even easier time (though kinda boring and Im thinking you wont really need them)
5: like all from games, read item descriptions, listen closely to what npcs say to get a rough idea of what your goal is
Honestly someone who beat ER should have no trouble with DS if they slow down.
get gud
I might in 59 years…
@@balance4724 Just change "ugh fromsoft didnt know how to make games back then" to "oh i didnt expect that" or you could compare the encounter to something in elden ring and how its evolved and etc. Be positive and thoughtful in your criticism, it definitely will land better with people. Just my two cents after watching a few similar videos lately(like Sid's).
Get gud bruv
I pressed Translate under your comment, and it translated to God bless you. Do thanks lol 😂
Git gud casual
Ok?
You think you move funny and stiff here? Lol don’t try ds2. Ds3 is the best before elden.
This is a very slow game so you need to be methodical and patient you can't rush, movement takes time to learn and dodging with positioning can help you alot and like elden ring you can explore and and level up for later challenges
Cool thanks for the information :)
@balance4724 np, try learning how to dodge some attacks without rolling (doesn't work on all attacks) and also when learning how to beat a boss try to survive for as long as possible before incorperating attacks. Hope this strategy works
