Confusing title, literally unplayable.
The last ale.
He used it accurately. He didn't say "Warpzone Series Finale", he said "Warpzone 8-8 Finale", as in, the final section of the series that takes place on Warpzone 8. This was a Season Finale, not the Series Finale.
I just thought it was what we said when the next video came out. You know, "Aw, finale, I can see what happens in the new Hendricks video!"
I always get a kick out of your ability to craft a compelling story. This was a great series. Can't wait for the finale!!!

AHA! I make chutney from the green peppers. Little bit of sriracha, sweet chili, and a good 3 to 4 table spoons of honeym, then blend it all into a nice paste. Great on toast. It packs a punch!

Ahh, I get it! Now we're truly getting to the final warpzone, the homeworld! So, now we get to begin the true finale series to this warptario series - the return to the homeworld arc!
Tensions are high as Mike predicts a rapid descent into biter madness upon immediate touchdown, but I have some suspicions about that mysterious chest by the rocket (and something tells that sending some space science up in a fourth launch may or may not have been productive (though probably not due to missing a certain key research)).
Looking forward to next time!
the ups issue was massive for me as well. My best solution was to over build the crap out of the warp platform with a billion laser turrets to keep biters under control haha. but i think i jumped like 50 times not 8
As in life, it's about the journey, not the destination (arrived biters don't do much pathfinding and just despawn fairly quick)
Well, since I don’t think we got Michael a 7800X3D or 7950X3D, it’s time to start saving for a 9800X3D for the next compute-intensive run. :D
In my experience, the most effective way to improve performance on CPU intensive applications is not actually getting a better CPU but rather getting faster RAM (although getting a CPU with bigger cache memory probably also helps).

The productivity bonus is applied to building the rocket (using less parts), you get 1000 space science per launch fixed

EN: Yes, its epic. Yes, I was right, to completely defeat Warptorio it takes 8-8 warps... and a few dozen hours to recapture your home. By the way, you might not have to create an island map, since the ordinary world can also be conquered - it is not infinite and “only” has a size of 1,000,000 x 1,000,000 tiles. 🤣

14:00 about the previous planet immediately being deleted... are you sure? Because there's been times i've had to leave behind buildings due to a rushed exit, and the buildings are getting destroyed left to right, or right to left etc, depending on what direction the biters were attacking from.
Savegame size seems to indicate so. mb there are exceptions idk

How do you group upgrade assemblers from one modules set to another?
I think that's a mod. Forget what it's called but it might be "module inserter"
you can use the upgrade planner. (the mentioned mod gives you more fine control over the exact mod configuration instead of purely "replace A with B")
FPS will be a problem on the homeworld as well then..
With the addition of autocrafting in minecraft opening the avenue to some real automation, will you be playing it again? Just wondering since you still have mc in your profile picture. If you pick it up again I can recommend some good technical tools.
IDK, more likely to play gregtech for automation focussed processes. If u into that, find "neurotic goose", he's doing a really good series on sort of a gregtech skyblock rn
This series is both exciting and interesting. I have not bothered with modifications or expansions to Factorio yet, but I definitly like this one.
I'm impressed with your gameplay, and I'm looking forward to seeing the resolution of this series.
A question struck me about halfway through. Modifications and modules can sometimes collide and contradict in intention and function, which can be both fun and ruinous to the personal experience.
I think there is a big and famous mod' that adds ways to handle pollution. I think it's Krastorio I'm thinking of, but regardless I wonder how coupling that with Warptorio would affect that otherwise very central issue of dealing with the pollution of the warp-platform.
Have anyone of you tried that? Is it even possible to combine the two, and if so, does it make Warptorio just straight up easier (not a bad thing in itself), or does added need for space and materials rather add a different way to play the Warptorio scenario?
Warptorio has it's own "pollution pauser", the warp stabilizer ability. Krastorio's air filters could probably help a bit early on, but as the warp platform's pollution output increases exponentially, it'll spiral out of controll regardless of how many air filters you can build (and defend!) I guess
@@MichaelHendriks I think saying that pollution increases exponentially is misleading since it's literally linear. Maybe it's just a figure of speech, but when you say "exponential" I have functions like e^x in mind
