@@ParagonPerformance LOL. We’re same mind. I actually have 2 opposing sides zip tied to the Eventuri bracket and you can’t even see them once the intake is installed.
Thanks for creating and posting this video. It is extremely helpful. This is not an install you are going to be able to revert easily when selling the car.
There should have been a QR Code with a PDF Install in the packaging. It's the easiest intake system install according to Alex our Technician but we do agree it is lengthy.
Travel ? Seriously? That’s why they sell SUV’s and airplane tickets ! LOL😂 Save the corvette for short hops around town and through the wine country. Fly to Cancun and stay in an all inclusive like Secrets. Your wife will love you.
Pretty nifty product. Almost makes me want to go buy a C8 just to put this thing on it. However, I have a question. Where are the filters? The Eventuri has filters, yes? 18 hp, that's pretty stout. Second, and perhaps even more impressive is the tutorial in and of itself. Others who claim to do instructional videos should stop by here and see how it's really done. Having been a dealership tech for many years it's like a video version of the shop manual. Nice job!
Wait until you drive a C8, then you'll really want one. The filters are pre-installed in those "Cone" shapes. Glad you're enjoying the quality of our install videos!
Great question, from the testing Eventuri has done the polycarbonate cover has not faded, warped or discolored. Most of the heat will escape out the decklid vents. The material is very similar to the C8 Convertible Clear Engine Bay Clear Cover which hasn't had any issues itself.
We can install the parts for you! A lot of our customers ship us their car before they even see it. We don't have any installers in California. We are located in Des Moines, Iowa.

I am assuming that this install doesn't effect your warranty. Are there any codes that show up do to this install? I am very not Mr Good Wrench. So I could have you do this install? Great video.
This intake will not void your warranty as it acts like an OEM unit just with a bigger volume of air & increased velocity. No check engine lights will show up if you install it correctly & plug the sensors in correctly. Yes we can do the install for you, we are located in Waukee, Iowa. Give us a call at 515-414-8993 to schedule.
Is there any update on when the HTC version will be available? Also, how much do you feel it should cost to have this installed? (Just a ballpark estimate) I’m in florida so I can’t have you guys do it 😢
@@ParagonPerformance I’d def be willing to give the install a shot on my own, I imagine the process for the HTC will be similar to this one. Do you know if the pricing will be the same? Also, how do you feel about this one vs the Halltech?
@@_Car_Ideas same process, we don’t have info on pricing yet but we’re guessing it’s going to be the same. Both options are great it just depends what you’re looking. Halltech has good gains for the price. Eventuri has the best gains on the market and is the only visible intake. Can’t go wrong with either. If you’re looking for peak performance go with Eventuri as it works really well with Headers and the Lingenfelter PTR manifold.
Question , if I have a potted intake manifold with a 95mm throttle body , will I be able to heat up the coupler to get it to fit the new one that’s provided or should I seek out a different one ? Any ideas ?
Hi Joseph, for any future updates of the coupler you can relay your questions to Korey our salesman at Support@ParagonPerf.com or Korey@ParagonPerf.com
Ok yes it’s definitely nice eye candy but 18hp??? That’s it??? For that price take I was expecting at least 25 The z06 model is almost at 40hp this is a big gap
Beautiful intake system, at that price point this system should provide a precut section of factory carpet in my opinion.
Thank you and we appreciate the feedback. We'll pass along the message.
The clips (Christmas tree fasteners) attaching the wires to the air box are an absolute B Word! Good luck getting them off clean or intact!
Zip Ties work well once you break them. 😅

The carpet for the C8 Corvettes are affordable & easy to get at your local GM dealership in the event you were needign to revert back to stock.
This would have been very useful when I installed mine a couple months ago. It’s not hard. But it IS time consuming!

@@ParagonPerformance - LOL I used the 20 page PDF. And it was still not fun. A couple steps definitely get you to thinking.

Great and this video confirms I followed all the appropriate steps as well. Mine turned out wonderful..!
Thank you guys.
Glad to hear your install was done properly! It's pretty straight forward, just a lot of details.
Another great install video.
Thanks Guys 👍
Thank you Larry!
I do like this. I’m just a bit concerned about losing trunk space for when we travel. Losing any is an issue. Cheers!
It’s a minimal amount but if you’re packing it full already it may be tight. Roof rack for the luggage? 😅

Love it, looks beautiful. But they should definitely include a precut carpet
It's beautiful!
Does it really make more power? I can’t imagine this makes a huge difference

How does it handle high temperature, I.E fading and or yellowing? From what I understand it can get spicy under the hatch!?

Any check engine light on?
Will the targa top still fit in the trunk and latch correctly?
Yes it still fits! See 17:15 for a quick clip.

June 26th is the expected release date at this time. Install time should be 4 hours for HTC.
We do have a video install and it comes with a very detailed PDF. Install it yourself and buy more parts 😁

You will have to cut the carpet as shown in the install video. We advise running the clear cover as well due to heat.
Would you need to remove the whole airbox again in order to replace the eventuri filters?

Getting service keyless start system. Any idea
Take it to a local dealership is our advice
Will you ship to California?
Yes
Will installing this intake void my GM warranty?
Every dealership acts differently. We see no reason this would void your engine warranty.
Best advice is to check with your local dealerships
who can I get to install this equipment?
You can do it with our instructional video or find a local performance shop to install this product.
This install would be a pain for HTC but i want one tho lol
Per our tech, the install isn't any more difficult on an HTC than a Coupe.
Oh is this C.A.R.B. complient?
It is not 😢
I rather wait til my warranty is up already had to get a new transmission if I had this prilly woukd of been voided

18HP for an intake is nothing to sneeze at and you really can’t compare this to a Z06. Two different animals.
