GET YOUR FERRITIN AND IRON CHEKCED. I am 40 and have had painful periods since I was young and severe pmdd. Found out my ferritin was in the teens when it should be minimum 125. I got my ferritin up and have had zero cramps, pmdd, pms migraine since getting that number up..I also no longer have that wonderful stabbing pain in my ovary when I ovulate. Would you say 950mg only during periods, I hv endometriosis and its excruciating, any advice would be appreciated. I hv been taking 400mg og magnesium glycinate daily but it hasn't helped
