I have followed Dr. Berg for a year now...I went from having excruciating pain every month to virtually none at all. No proccessed carbs...no sugar...has changed my life...love this guy!!
Dr. Berg in the 1980s I took evening primrose oil capsules for my painful periods, and it was a miracle! I had no PMS, no cramping. When my period arrived, it was always a surprise, because I no longer had any symptoms.

Yeah I’ve been taking liposomal mag l-threonate for sleep/anxiety but my last 3 periods didn’t hurt as much. A big clot passed painlessly when normally it’s agonizing for the 10 mins or more it takes to pass.
Every month I need to take 2-3 ibuprofen though I know the side effect but I can’t help. After observing this video I took cod liver oil/Omega 3 and within an hour my pain drastically reduced! No words to thank you Dr! You are great!

STOP EATING A HIGH CARB DIET! Trust me. I use to have horrible cramps until I completely cut out processed carbs like bread, pasta, sugar, cookies, potatoes... I would notice that the blood clots during menstruation was thick because carbs especially sugar and flour causes the blood to stick together and clot. I stopped birth control and dived deep in nutrition working out body building 4 days a week i had my 4th child at 43 now at 45 i CAN NOT BELIEVE I can say i have no period cramps at all!!!
I had horrible periods until I had my first baby. For some reason, it’s like giving birth did something to my uterus and made my cramps better. I’d throw up for 2-3 days, have hot and cold sweats, the worst diarrhea, and excruciating pains that felt like I was being stabbed, but I never died. Lol When I went into labor with my first son, my contractions felt just like my period cramps. So, it’s like I was in labor for days. I’m thankful that they’ve gotten better.
Just in time for me, thank you. I've always had terribly painful periods. They got a bit better after I had kids, but I'm still down for a day with the cramps.
The best remedy is 1) 1 to 2 tblsp molasses daily 2) roasted pumpkin seeds Both contain magnesium. 3) Reduce dairy/calcium... interferes with magnesium absorption.

Ginger and cinnamon is a great drink. Or golden milk with coconut cream. The pain will not disappear if you are still consuming sugar and white flour. And not eating protein and vegetables.
I’ve been taking Midol for a few months now it works wonders for me but I’m worried about the side effects of it. My grandma sent me this video. I tried the stretches and it relieved the pain as long as I was in the stretch. I can’t wait to try this this remedy out. I have had horrible period cramps my entire life, it was so bad at one point I was put on birth control. The BC did some weird stuff that scared me so I just threw it away. I really hope this helps because I don’t want to go back on any BC anytime soon
What I realized was that, each time I worked out while on my peez the pain wasn’t that bad and the blood flow was quicker than when I wasn’t working out. I think this can help too.

Im 46 and had started to get very bad cramps. I had to take naproxen and co'dydramol every month. This month i started to run 30 minutes a day. I started my period yesterday and didnt even know because i had zero pain. Still pain free today..going for another run tomorrow morning.
I haven’t taken pain killers in almost 5yrs For me majority of my cramps come from what I ate around that time causing me to need to go use the bathroom. -So I try to drink more than I eat 3 days prior to my period and no diary -Steam with lavender a week or a few days prior to your period coming on NEVER do it while your period is actually on. -Drink raspberry tea -And vitamin d3 does help -Change your pads PLEASE to organic I would suggest using core pads. Regular pads have a lot of toxins in them
If I would have only known this information before going into menopause I would have done things differently. BTW years ago when I initially complained to my local GP, her reply was "go and have a baby and the pain won't be as bad. I was shocked and became my own Dr studying natural remedies and stumbled upon Anna's wild yam cream which worked. I also love sprinkling cinnamon on top of my kefir shakes and raw cocoa drinks mixed with coconut milk. So yum! Thanks Dr Berg Your a gem. Aussie.

Dr. Mindy has great info about what to do the week before your period to help you not cramp. BUT Dr. Bergs video is great about what to do WHEN you have the cramps!! Thank you for this great info Dr. Berg! I love that you teach us how the body works and how things affect the body! 👏👏👏
I used to suffer from this since I was sixteen years old. I ended 2 times to the hospital because I had vomits and such extreme pain. I don't have any pathological problems so my gynecologist kept on prescribing painkillers that didn't always work and also, over the years my body got used to them and they didn't work at all. So after 25 years of suffering I accidentally discovered that chicory juice can almost eliminate the pain within 10-15 minutes when it's consumed slightly hot. I like drinking it with some lemon for better taste and the results are always the same. The pain dissapears! Another plant recommended for period pains is achillea I haven't tried it yet so I ll give you feedback soon.
Iovaries hurt too. I had by choice my uterus removed in my mind 30s 34 I believe. And every so often I had period pain , not nearly as bad. Now in my early 50s it's so rare, but praise God I'm not having menopause. Nothing has changed 🎉🙏💯

thank you I knew about omega 3 and the minerals but I tried adding cinnamon and I have had no cramps this cycle. I am so happy that I can apply this in the future and have no pain. I also used to experience very poor sleep and I'm hoping this will also go away.
I made a discovery a couple years back and feel stupid I didnt come up with it sooner. Ive know for years that more out alignment I was the worse that pain and cramping was, so it always varied. One thing is consistent with my body and most people's in my practice (Rolfing) I would say 95% of my clients have one hip forward and the other back. Simple test, stand what you feel is square. Look down, if one foot is more forward its highly likely that hip is forward as well. The discovery was to lay on the side that the hip is back, knees bent slightly and stacked now take that hip that is forward and move it back so your legs are staggered. I usually am able to fall asleep like this. The pain subsides almost immediately for me. However I make sure and do magnesium and my body responds quite quickly to stretching. I often wake up in pain again to realize Im out of that position, I go back in and again immediate relief enough to fall back asleep
I’d love to see a video on colloidal silver and its effects on the body. Maybe you’ve made one and I’ve missed it. Love the content and all of the amazing medical insights you have. Keep up the great work.
Great info. I would love some help with PMDD. It’s a topic most doctors don’t want to touch on, lot of times writing a prescription, and I just don’t go that route. It’s been easier than it was in my 30’s, but I still struggle pretty hard before my bleeding starts.
I believe this has to do with hormonal imbalances. Can be remedied through diet and movement/living. Maybe find a hormone nutrition coach and do some mineral testing and find out what you need to focus on eating in diet to help balance hormones. This has brought me a long way!

I have a lot of women I need to show this too! I come from a family of heavy crampers 😮 Thank You
I drink 2 mugs of organic loose leaf raspberry leaf tea with spring water only everyday for a few days before my period starts and then up to 3 mugs a day everyday of my period and I have no more cramps, much lighter flow and my period has even shortened!! Also I switched to all organic pads & tampons and take weekly organic apple cider vinegar baths, all absolutely life changing!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Aww, how did you know? I just did the stretch and it already brought me relief. Thank you!
Great. Glad this helped you.
Help it hurts so much like I don’t wanna die 😭
Accupunture helps to get less painful period and gym swimming before period
I feel you girl
Me rn😭
I stopped birth control and dived deep in nutrition working out body building 4 days a week i had my 4th child at 43 now at 45 i CAN NOT BELIEVE I can say i have no period cramps at all!!!
Black seed oil
No greasy food before period water n fruit
Incredible timing as always! Thank you!
Most welcome!
Yeah these are terrible.
Just in time for me, thank you. I've always had terribly painful periods. They got a bit better after I had kids, but I'm still down for a day with the cramps.

The best remedy is 1) 1 to 2 tblsp molasses daily
2) roasted pumpkin seeds
Both contain magnesium.
3) Reduce dairy/calcium... interferes with magnesium absorption.
@@knowledgeiseverything7621 This is so helpful, thank you! I'm trying cutting out dairy at the moment anyway so it's great to have confirmation on that, I didn't know about it doing that to magnesium. Thanks so much!
Cinnamon will also lessen bleeding if you take enough .
Cinnamon for the win!❤
Thank you so much! I am hurting so bad ...
The most helpful video I've ever found on this matter 😭good to know someone cares about us ones who get unbearable pain every month and yet i have never skipped a single period. The pain is constant. I ALWAYS take ibuprofen.
Im 46 and had started to get very bad cramps. I had to take naproxen and co'dydramol every month. This month i started to run 30 minutes a day. I started my period yesterday and didnt even know because i had zero pain. Still pain free today..going for another run tomorrow morning.
I haven’t taken pain killers in almost 5yrs
For me majority of my cramps come from what I ate around that time causing me to need to go use the bathroom.
-So I try to drink more than I eat 3 days prior to my period and no diary
-Steam with lavender a week or a few days prior to your period coming on NEVER do it while your period is actually on.
-Drink raspberry tea
-And vitamin d3 does help
-Change your pads PLEASE to organic I would suggest using core pads.
Aussie.
Thanks for sharing!
My wife is having bad cramps. This and a different foot reflexology video really helped!
Ladies, dr. Burg has suggested DIM in the past and I can’t say enough about this product. In addition to everything else he says in this video, I would take them every day and you will see a marketable difference in any period pain.
Thank you for this information,at 57 still getting a monthly period
Very glad to be of help.
Just in time! My period is so painful I sometimes throw up. I couldn't sleep yesterday because of the pain, even ibuprofen wasn't helping 😪 I'm going to try this. I've also heard raspberry leaf tea can help and plan to try that as well.
Thats not normal. I hope you know ❤ have you checked for endometriosis?
@@Bamgeutcutiepie I always thought it was until I read differently online! But whenever I mention it to the doctors they either brush me off or just want to put me on birth control which I refuse to go back on, so I just live with it unfortunately
please don't. i know it's what we are up against, but it's your human right. change doctors till you find someone who understand this basic fact. they do exist. please don't just let your body stay sick 💕you got this! you can do it!!! 🌺@@BananaSplitBlitz
Hot water bottles are very helpful too I have had very very severe pains and hot compression provides some relief

All of dr berg suggestions + my own personal favourite not mentioned here is a good old fashioned hot water bottle, not one of those pre filled microwave ones just a regular hot water one, follow the instructions for filling and it will be fine, I think it’s a combination of the warmth plus the weight of the bottle….feels like a warm hug for your tummy x
Had cramps that kept me in bed for days - changed my diet no sugar, less meat, less dairy and cramps were absent, slight pressure first day and smooth the remainder.
I was able to completely eliminate my period cramps by going on an all organic diet. Local grass-fed meat and organic vegetables. That’s just my experience.
Yes, it’s very common but must be shared. Thank you so much for sharing.
Organic helps alot because not organic meat is full of chemicals and hormones which imbalances that’s why we get painful cramps
CINNAMON! And stretch, vitamin D, magnesium, calcium, omega 3.
Yes. Calcium lactate or such. Avoid calcium carbonate.
I’m suffered since 11 years old, when I thought I was dying, lol. I’ve been taking Advil ever since, which I’m sure isn’t good. Can’t wait to try this
Try fish oil, and ginger lemon infusion a week before and onwards

I'm Greek. My mom would make me a warm drink out of cinnamon and clover. It really stinks and is hard to drink but omg it was the only thing that ever helped. Now it makes sense why!
My one stop Doc
Love the mechanism of action behind why!
I just need warm and heat . it really helps😊

Hi
I've just had the worst period of my life. I was throwing up all night and had weird cravings for lemon and salt. No appetite and constipation. I thought I had neurovirus. I'm 41 so think I'm perimenopausal. I will definitely be trying your advice. Thank you x
Thank you so much for this. I'd be even more grateful if you could do another talk on how to speed up the peri menopause process! 🙏
😂😂😂😂 I understand the pain.

Thanks for the video suggestion. For now, please see the videos here: www.youtube.com/@DrEricBergDC/search?query=menopausal%20symptoms
I suggest you check each videos he made on menopause.
in Indonesia the most common for menstrual cramp is taking Turmeric juice. Traditionally takes about 2-3 days before and during period.
Dr. Mindy has great info about what to do the week before your period to help you not cramp. BUT Dr. Bergs video is great about what to do WHEN you have the cramps!! Thank you for this great info Dr. Berg! I love that you teach us how the body works and how things affect the body! 👏👏👏
Dr Berg your freaking Amazing❤
Thank you Dr. Berg🏆👑
You're welcome. Thanks for watching the video.
I will send this informative video to my Daughter. Thanks Dr. Berg! 🩷
Thanks. Hope this will help her.
The only time I experience menstrual cramps is when I consume junk food. If I eat healthy I never get them.

@@helenevion5948 Thank you for your recommendations
I used to suffer from this since I was sixteen years old. I ended 2 times to the hospital because I had vomits and such extreme pain. I don't have any pathological problems so my gynecologist kept on prescribing painkillers that didn't always work and also, over the years my body got used to them and they didn't work at all. So after 25 years of suffering I accidentally discovered that chicory juice can almost eliminate the pain within 10-15 minutes when it's consumed slightly hot. I like drinking it with some lemon for better taste and the results are always the same. The pain dissapears! Another plant recommended for period pains is achillea I haven't tried it yet so I ll give you feedback soon.
thank goodness for your advice Dr. Berg! this is so important, especially the part about side effects of ibuprofen!!
Iovaries hurt too. I had by choice my uterus removed in my mind 30s 34 I believe. And every so often I had period pain , not nearly as bad. Now in my early 50s it's so rare, but praise God I'm not having menopause. Nothing has changed 🎉🙏💯
My stomachs been hurting since yesterday I took a pain pill but it’s still hurting this video just came in handy!! Great info I love that stretch pose it fixed my sciatica ❤

I would imagine Curcumin would be on the list. It’s known to be as strong as ibuprofen. 😊
Sorry to say, but you are wrong. Nothing is such effective as Ibuprofen. I was taking Curcumin / Turmeric a looot, useless, as all the things mentioned in the reviews
This is great information! The men that are having cramps these days are going to find this information very useful.
what perfect timing! thanks doc
What kind of magnesium do you suggest? There’s so many variations.
Thank you Dr Berg. Within a second of taking Vitamin D - my cramps are gone. Really glad I found this video.
Hello Sylvia, great to hear you are doing better! Keep up the good work!
Happy Wednesday!
Thanks for following!
Calcium always helps me. I will add others you mention. Chaste Berry also helps.
Excellent topic. Thank you so much Doctor Berg. Have a nice day,
Glad you liked it! Thank you for watching!
Dr. Berg, I'm 37 years old and for a year now I've been taking Clove Spice ( ground ) when I'm in pain, an amount of 2 teaspoons with lukewarm water and it's magic!
No, it's not a placebo effect because I've tried other substances that didn't help.
Please make an informational video about cloves and explain how it is such a powerful pain reliever! How It Works?! Thanks
thank you I knew about omega 3 and the minerals but I tried adding cinnamon and I have had no cramps this cycle.
Just get to it already I’m in pain
High PROSTAGLANDINS Are what mostly cause period pain
perfect timing, thank you.
Right on! Thanks for the feedback!
Thanks for the helpful advice love that you genuinely care❤
What kind of magnesium do you recommend?

I’d love to see a video on colloidal silver and its effects on the body. Maybe you’ve made one and I’ve missed it. Love the content and all of the amazing medical insights you have. Keep up the great work.
He’s made one videos on colloidal silver. Possibly easier to find on his website / app.
Thank you for this! What kind of magnesium and what dosage pls? And what dosage for omega 3? 🙏🏽
Hi! Always follow the directions for use on the product label unless your health care provider recommends otherwise.
