I use beets juice now instead of red #40; nothing artificial. I also bake the plantain. I won 1st. prize for making Plantain Tart at the 4H competition at 13 years old. I have to try making it again.😁💕
This is my very favorite dessert my grandmother used to make it ALLLL the time, I hvnt had this in 100 years I have to make this, I would eat the whole batch it looks so good
