@danielpomeroy those are sweet sleds. My buddy has Yamaha exciter 440 that unfortunately a seal went and it blew the motor. Those machine prices tripled with "Larry enticer" lol
@@MartinGray-u5k I was told it was one of the fastest production sleds of that year, I took the fellas word for it as he seems well rounded with machines at the vintage show we were in. We also have a Wheel Horse snowmobile... and that's the total opposite haha it's a tank!!
@@kevinbushey1879 .... id own every 2025 model... and new every year, but I'm not stupiéd with my play money. I enjoy the old machines with the mild winters we have while I build an empire
Brings back memories! My first brand new sled.
@@danielpomeroy That's pretty cool! i can not justify buying a new sled with these prices they are, so I'll stick with these gems!
@AveryHastings1 absolutely I traded it in for a new Yammy 340 enticer.when prices for new sleds were reasonable.

Had a 400 sting, lighter than the 340 jag that replaced it.Good deep snow sled
@@bettybobzimmerman7450 I'd like to collect a few of the other models of scorpion in 79, had a whip 340 and a sting 400 pop up on marketplace locally,
Yea buddy!
@@Walt_iz hopefully getting to the sxs soon! working down the list
Those were bad ass when I was a kid
@@MartinGray-u5k it hauls ass for a older machine, I enjoy it!
My uncles both had new '69 ski doos (not sure which model) but they'd do about 70mph, way too fast 😮for that time period😂

@@MartinGray-u5k I bet your uncles had skidoo Blizzard's, those were fast machines! and high on my wish list
@AveryHastings1 they were before the blizzard series, I believe they were Olympias and I think they were 340s
Ah I see you said 1969, I was off a decade lol. those 60s machines are narrow so that 70mph was probably terrifying haha
@AveryHastings1 that's exactly what both of them said! We were young and stupid. Lucky to be alive doing that shit
Now just missing one thing. Snow !
@@nhhbbyloggr5022 i'd take a foot of snow and be happy, then I can still ride the dirtbikes haha
