Tina S is an exceptionally talented and highly skilled guitarist. Her Shredder style of playing this song is a true delight to experience. Her guitar playing is reminiscent of the legendary composer Mozart, and it has been suggested that if he were alive today, he would likely compose music akin to Tina S's guitar jams. Tina S's guitar playing is lightning-fast, incredibly complex, and undeniably shredding. She possesses an exceptional understanding of music theory and technique, which allows her to push the boundaries of the guitar to its fullest potential. Remarkably, Tina S was already showcasing her exceptional guitar skills while still in high school, even though it was merely a hobby at the time.
I have not seen Tina S. before and am TOTALLY blown away by this brilliant young artist (now an adult) How did I miss her?? Truly incredible as I could not take my eyes off this performance. Thank you AR for posting this video. Love your reaction and appreciate you highlighting so many different artists on your channel.🧡
Thank you for your worthy reaction and giving credit to Tina S. Tina Setkic is French and started her classical guitar training at age six. Around twelve she appeared with electric guitar. What happened next is what drew the attention to the world of musicians, especially guitarists. Between the ages thirteen and seventeen 16 covers of different artists done by Tina were recorded. Truly of the most difficult and intricate melodies one can think of, she has not only mastered but made vast improvements to. This Beethoven cover was the last of the set, done in 2017 after which she disappeared from the scene. She briefly appeared with a band named Spin Twice, Sadly, she, again "disappeared". It would appear that she's having a difficult life from news making it's rounds... Among all the covers, you must definitely visit 1. "Arpeggios from hell" - Ingwie Malmsteen; 2. "Through the Fire and Flames" - DragonForce (with Herman Li); 3. "Altitudes - Jason Becker; 4. "The Loner - Gary Moore; 5. "For the Love of God" - Steve Vai It's not just about speed. It's accuracy, capturing the mood and whatever nuances... Get the feel and the message of each song as performed by this Masterclass artist. Enjoy the world's best - TINA SETKIC, born 7 April 1999, now 25 years old.
A fabulous rendition of my favorite Beethoven piano sonata. Brava, Ms. Tina. It also shows just how metal the classical compsers were! "It's pure skill" and a hell of a lot of practice.
I’m so happy you found her! Isn’t she amazing? I had to wait 7 years for her to come back (away for college) and grace us with her presence. Please check out some of her other covers.
Tina is 17 years old in this recording, and then she disappeared for 7 years. She started learning the guitar at the age of 6, and then started playing the electric guitar at the age of 13.
She disappeared from UA-cam for over 7 years and has recently started dropping videos again. She dealt with a lot of trolls and bullies, so she just left the platform.
@@johndeeregreen4592 I don’t know all the details but I know her father was an employee of a prestigious school that offered business and management track on one side and science + computer engineering on the other side. She was living in this campus as a young child if I do not make a mistake. Her sister was graduated at this school, but I don’t know about her, I didn’t find her name in the list of graduates. Someone reported me she studied at a nearby university but I don’t know the track she was engaged in.

I know some want to see the guitar Player headbanging, who needs it, she is a 17 year old girl who hardly looks at the fretboard when playing, now 25 with her own band, and still playing like a Goddess, what more do you need. Now watch her rendition of THROUGH THE FIRE AND FLAMES, at 15 years old, ONE TAKE. enjoy. 😊
Tina reached the pinnacle of her skill and disappeared somewhere for 9 years. Then she appeared in some rock band. But this is a different person. Something happened to her.
I’d forgotten about this, excellent reaction! You seem like a guy who craves excellence and to FEEL something, ever heard of Tori Amos? She’s a piano prodigy and her music is eclectic perfection, I think you’d appreciate most of her enormous catalog but for now i am suggesting that you start with her most important piece…Me And A Gun..heart wrenchingly beautiful ✌💜
Tina Setkic from France was a teenage sensation on youtube. Discovered at 13 yo with her cover of Van Halen’s Eruption, acclaimed by VH’s son. She then covered the greatests, was elected several years in a row Best Guitar Prodigy on YT, and received praises from Jason Becker, Steve Vai, Megadeth, Herman Li,… She was 17 for the cover of this Moonlight Sonata and this was her last video for 7 years - she focused on her studies. She had 1 M subscribers (im)patiently awaiting her return. And she reappeared last year, in a band named Spin Twice. She composes the songs of the band and I like it. But no insane guitar solos in her songs for now. She said in an interview that solos have to serve the songs, there must be an intention and a purpose for it.
Exactly what came to mind for me when i heard her start playing on here was Eddie Van Halen, which is a huge compliment. She is extremely gifted with both skill and talent. 👏
and to think she had been playing the guitar only 10-11 years at this point she was 17 when she did this .. i know people who have been playing 30-40 years and are nowhere near this good... for me she is a prodigy for sure practice will get you far but not to this level.
She seems to have walked away from shred guitar with her band Spin Twice they have a Lincoln Park feel not that if wanted or needed for their music that she couldn't ... ps she has a lot of ink now
She played a good piece of music and displayed her extrordinary skill that I do not refute. But for me it did not sound like Beethoven. To me the Moonlight Sonata has a complete different meaning then the one she conveyed and to me that is sad. Edit as it has already been misunderstood twice: Not the piece itself is sad but that I cannot hear Beethoven when it is playad with the elecrtic guitar in this way is sad to me. And that is my opinion alone.
@@Darthdestiny Ok it seems that was misunderstood, not the piece is sad, but that it was conveyed in a different way is sad to me. I do like some new interpretations with modern instruments. But while this piece is executed extraordinarily I cannot hear Beethoven in it. That's taste, every human is different. So that is my opinion only.

Oh that sucks, since you don't like it I guess no one can. I guess I misread all of the thousands of comments in dozens of videos praising her performance.
Ich glaub das ehrlich gesagt nicht. Ludwig van Beethoven war seiner Zeit voraus. Auch Beethoven hatte Kritiker, die ihn schlecht redeten. Solche Leute gibt es wohl in jeder Zeit. I honestly don't believe that. Ludwig van Beethoven was ahead of his time. Beethoven also had critics who spoke badly about him. There are people like that in every era.

It is only the reactions of the professionals that interest me, and I thank Van Halen, Pink Floyd, Dragonforce, Dream Theater, Jason Becker, Steve Vai for their congratulatory tweets!"
