OK if you think that's crazy preparation check out Iron Maiden The Trooper being played on a harp! Keep enjoying the music. 🐺❤
Mr. Rock N Roll. This was transcribed in 2011. Dr. Viossey did the arrangement. Everybody that plays this (metal version) on YT does his rendition. Tina plays it much cleaner [less distortion] than the Doc. Edit: Heres the link to Dr. Viossey’s original video. You can see in the title description that he sold the tablature and backing tracks for 3 pounds. m.ua-cam.com/video/MZuSaudKc68/v-deo.html
The girl that launched 10 million guitars straight into the trash can .The finest female guitarist in the world bar none . 🇬🇧
*finest in the world, no exception.
The thing with this piece its also the length, its not just like a 1-2 minute solo with heavy shredding, no its like 6-7 minutes full power without pause.
Someone else figured it all out and posted it in a comment a long time ago. That’s why I can’t remember the exact numbers. But I know she plays 7,000 plus notes, at an average of 7.something notes a second.
More to the point, it's a good deal less repetitive than most of the music that gets played on electric guitar. Not that it doesn't re-use the same motif over and over again (it does), but it uses it in a slightly different way each time. There's no constantly repeating riff: it keeps changing. A piece like this must be at least dozens if not hundreds of times more work to learn to play, than a typical rock song of similar length.
Something contrapuntal/Baroque would be even *more* difficult, admittedly, and Renaissance polyphony might be harder yet. But still.
How can you be THAT great at anything? Absolutely incredible. I miss her so much!
A mixture of sheer natural talent and then the work ethic to maximize the gift you were born with. A very rare combo
This should be the anthem for the past few years as an example of retaining composure and grace in the midst of madness.
Tina S. is phenomenal.
Cheers, and peace..
This was transcribed by Dr Viossy in 2011, then Tina got a hold of it and made history. There is a split screen video of Tina and Dr. Viossy playing this and their hand movements are the same. Great reaction!
There's a guitar hero game where it shows a fret-board with notes sliding down the strings and you have to play the notes on strings when they reach the end. If you miss, it lightening strikes the note, otherwise color puffs. Someone decided to take this sound track of Tina and plug it into the guitar input, so it is playing into the game without regard to the song's timing. Then they made a video of it:
ua-cam.com/video/xB9l4U2D1rc/v-deo.html
OMG I can't believe you hadn't done this yet!!!
Was about time then. ;)
I remember your Dragon Force reaction. This was equally entertaining! 😊
Tina's covers of Steve Vai's For the Love of God, Becker's Altitudes and Moore's The Loner next!
BTW, it was Dr Viossy who arranged this piece for guitar.
So one day she woke up, it was a perfectly normal day, and she thought to herself "Now then, what shall I do today?....I know, I'll learn Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, 3rd. movement, shouldn't be too difficult".
You're kidding but that's exactly it ! She was on school holidays and bored at home in August
She holds the pick between her thumb and index fingers and hammers with only 3 fingers. It is unimaginable the talent she has
The only thing that I've seen that could come close to how difficult this was is "Knapsack" by Steve Vai, playing an entire song one handed on the guitar, especially considering that he was still recovering from shoulder surgery on his right arm & surgery on his left thumb.
Her tapping skills... wow... and that cheeky smile at the end... love it ❤
Yours might be my favourite reaction ever, especially to her smile at the end. I was entertained!!
Tina would either inspire someone to pick up a guitar and learn how to play in the faint hope of being as amazing as she is or make you put down your guitar and give up forever because you'll never, EVER, be as good as she is. LMFAO
She smiles 7 times in this video
@@0ParisFrance I love people who pay attention to the details. 🥰
@@viewfromthehighchair9391 It's to show people that she's not "bored" !!
@@0ParisFrance You don't have to tell me. I love Tina S. and greatly admire her boundless talent. I miss her on UA-cam and hope she comes back some day. If not, then I wish her the best always.
best reaction to this ever
Tina s is the Boss 😎 🤯....
Dragon force gittar solo!!! And for another shok... Junna dragon force drum Cover!!!!!!!! 🙌 🙌 🙌 Insane
This video is all one shot, no breaks! that means, NO MISTAKES!
Her perfection is eras infection.
If you love Beethoven, why not react to "Symphony of Pain" by Accept, where they sing about Beethoven writing one off his symphonies while he was deaf..even the guitarsolo is a Beethoven song 🤩
1/ Confirmation that she is a real human!
2/ Confirmation that Beethoven is a metal composer!
3/ Confirmation that you have the right tee-shirt at the right place for the right moment with written on it in red: "SUPER EASY" for.......................HER!
Tina is a talent. 1 of 10.000 can do what they do. Thanks for reaction.
My hands would be hurting afterwards
She is playing all the background music too including the bass. She was wired for music at birth.
Just casually posting a 2nd comment after watching because you deserve :P This reaction was just as fun and entertaining as I was expecting!! :D Really nice start to the weekend!
Just a tiny little critique: Do you think you could turn up the volume of your voice especially in comparison to the music? The difference is rather huge and while I don't mind loud music at all (that's what we're all here for ;D), at least to me personally it gets a bit exhausting. (I'm sensitive to when sth is TOO loud and my ears sometimes can't adapt to your low volume talking in-between music parts... I bet I'm not the only one.) Ofc I could change the volume myself all the time but tbh I'd rather focus on the reaction instead ♥ So it would be awesome if you could do sth about that in the future! Rock on!!
Had the same reaction . Somehow it keeps getting more and more amazing
She was ONLY 17 years old when she did this!!!
I admire her phrasing which is very faithful to classical tradition. It's obvious to me that she has also a classical training. Her version of Jason Becker's "Altitudes" is absolutely amazing. It's even more impressive than this is I think. And there are many more great versions she has done. I haven't heard anything mediocre from her.
imagine how many really good guitar players just threw their guitars in the trash after hearing this? wow!!!
Try her Gary Moore The Loner cover, and her Tornado of Souls cover, awesome thanks requesting 😎
Moonlight sonata is a solo piano piece. There is no orchestra.. so not sure what you were listening to :) haha. I wanna recommend this violin piece btw I think it’s amazing to react to: Ysaye performed by maxim vengerov . It’s about 6 mins long.
Beethoven was deaf when he wrote his 9th Symphony.
Hate to bring you the bad news, but Tina learned this in 4 days and nailed it on the first take for the video.
Why are you re-posting nonsense in the comments? Her guitar teacher Renaud said she learned in 3 months!!
Renaud LS :
@PParis001 3 mois d'apprentissage
You should react to the biggest guitar shred collab in the world in jared dines channel
Several guitar nerds have gone over this in detail, trying to find a missed note. There is a debate over one possible mistake, but it's not even clear whether it's a mistake or just a timing choice. Nuts.
There is no mistake because she plays in front of her teacher who is filming. Otherwise, she would have started again.
Look closely. She have 7 fingers on each hand.
7 or 10 ??
the best rock is classical music, how don't you understand
I think she is french
Yes she is French 🙂
i think michael romeo played this
Ah haaa 666/7
Bard level 20
I took guitar lessons from Tony Macalpnine back in 1986 and I still can't play this........
😂 hsha only Michael Romeo can help u bro
On her UA-cam : 0:57, 1:19, 2:06, 2:28, 2:31, 4:19, 4:41, setting the pickup selector on the guitar, 6:01 closing the sound button !
impressive but piano sounds better
she is 15 years haha
2016 - 1999 = 15 ???????? HAHAHAHAHA ! going to learn to count !
I think Tina was born with a guitar in her hand.
Talents like this come along maybe once every 20 years.
I've seen the best guitarists play, but this kind of perfect harmony and speed leaves them all behind
You'll have to react to Tina's cover of Steve Vai. She actually showed some emotion in that and it's awesome
And she doesn't miss a note either!
Tina is back! Her new EP GRAVITY will bei released on September 1! Played with her band TwinSpice. Can't wait, Tina, you're the guitar goddess!
I GUARANTEE Beethoven would have approved - both the performance and the reaction!
Beethoven didn’t approve of ANYTHING. But I think he would make an exception just this one time….👍👍👍
You heard an orchestra playing the Moonlight Sonata?
I've watched countless Tina S reaction videos and the average response has been dumbfounded speechlessness. Most of the time I've had to wait a full thirty seconds after the lightning speed guitar playing ceased before the reactor came to their senses enough to say something "brilliant" like, "Jeez, that was good wasn't it?" Actually, their silence spoke more eloquently about what they experienced than words ever could.
This is what I think happens to us while watching Tina S covers. Our brains begin to roast when 450 degrees of Tina S quadruple-speed guitar virtuosity is applied to them. We have to hit the stop button every thirty seconds to allow a cooling process to take place lest our brains sizzle out of control and melt.
Tina S is performing guitar shredding impossibilities right before our very eyes. Hence, our confusion. Tina S, in our minds, is just too dang young to be playing that good! The average person can't swallow the theory that practice alone got her to that level of amazingness. A gift from God? Probably. At least that's my view.
There have been two good Tina S reaction responses that caught my eye.
1. I think the "S" in Tina S stands for SPED UP!
2. "Watching Tina S play should be the easy part and her playing should be the hard part. But my experience was that watching her was the hard part because her playing appeared to be the easy part."
Weird. But true.
Afterthoughts.
Tina has been negatively accused of being emotionless while playing. Granted, she doesn't gush with emotion like your average rock guitarist but here are three reasons why she acts that way.
REASON 1. Tina S is NOT a rock guitarist. She's a classically trained guitarist. Notice how she has her guitar propped up on her left leg. Classical guitar style all the way. Classical guitarists are prim and proper and subdued on stage. Tina is probably mimicking the great classical guitarist Segovia's expression while playing not Angus Young's. By the way, Tina IS expressing emotion, it's literally pouring out of her instrument.
REASON 2. Tina is not performing on a rock stage with 30,000 lunatic fans expecting guitar virtuosity and gobs of emotion. She is performing in a simple studio with one cameraman as her audience. She doesn't need to perform rock star stunts like playing the guitar with her teeth, or setting it on fire, or biting off the heads of bats. She's just playing the damn thing! Better than anyone that I've ever seen.
REASON 3. The third reason why Tina isn't showing emotion is because what she's doing is easy. Yes, easy. How much emotion do you show while tying your shoe laces? Zero. Right? Why? Because tying your shoes is easy. You don't grimace and squint and bite your lower lip while tying your shoes because you don't need to and it would be weird if you did. Tina doesn't grimace and squint and bite her lower lip while shredding the guitar because she doesn't need to.
The end.
God bless Tina, whatever she does. Well, if he suddenly decides to return to people with his beautiful guitar, millions of grateful fans will be watching her.
I absolutely love this video for two reasons. Firstly, Tina is simply extraordinary - that's coming from a lead guitar player who played Malmsteen, Eddie, and George Lynch for more years than I care to say - Millions of hours of practice, it seemed. Secondly, this guy is so entertaining. His reaction to Tina's playing is reminds me of when I first heard her play. Mr. Rock N Roll is priceless. Sooooooo entertaining!!!
2Cellos-Thunderstruck. Check that one out please. You won´t regret it.
Forget it. You already did. Great work. Thx.
Officially my all time favorite reaction to this piece! And I've seen em all! You're awsome dude!
NO U!!!
And she was only 17...
An american buddy once aked me if i prefer Heavy Metal or Beethoven! I answered: BEETHOVEN IS HEAVY METAL!! Here you got the proof!🤟 😝🤘
I've been waiting a long time for you to get back to Tina. your reaction to the Dragon Force cover was one of my favorites. Now let's see For the Love of God (my favorite), Altitudes, and The Loner.
I will give almost anything to know what Beethoven would have thought of this and would it have inspired him further to know what was possible regarding composition. I think back to the movie "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure" when they brought Beethoven into modern California and put him in a music store with all modern instruments. Short story, he went nuts. LOL
We need to find this woman and get her back on the tube 🤘🤘
Sadly I heard she died in a car wreck.
@@JohnWilliams-bt9er I can't seem to find any info on that. If true that so sad. :(
@@JohnWilliams-bt9er Not in a car ! At home. An accident does not mean in a car.
Sorry second hand info.
@@JohnWilliams-bt9er Her family and her guitar teacher do not want to give precise information !
Pure mastery🤘🎻🎸
Most guitarists cannot play the wrong notes that fast lol
Best reaction, I've ever seen !!! 🤘🏼 Really cool video dude !
"who sat down and said : i would really llke to spend all the time i have comming up with the tabs for this ?" Dr Viossy, he's on youtube
By now we've all seen the commercial where slash is playing that famous riff from GNR and the lady says " your in" and slash replies "COOL ". That commercial should be redone with TINA s. in it, because slash or anyone else could not do this! WHAT!!!!???
1) Beethoven would have approved
2) he then would wrote a piece just for her
3) then, asked her if she wanted to form a band with him at the keyboard...
4) and lastly, told her: "I hear you, girl, I hear you loud and clear..."
I'm pretty disappointed you haven't done a reaction to her cover of "for the love of God" by Steve vai
How much work? From what I recall it's north of 2700 notes - and she's not missing one (muscle memory is key one has to have...)
I think when you reach her level there's a straight pathway between hearing it in the mind and the fingers playing it, without a whole lot of conscious thought in between. "Playing by ear" to the nth power
I would love to see her play something from Arch Enemy, awesome 😎
She has the smuggiest smug look I have ever seen on somone that deserves to be smug about the skill they just showed.
Imagine Tina (17 y.o) walking into a guitar store, full of young rockers with long hair. Tina asks the salesman "Can I try this one?" Hahahahaha !
This video is a couple reacting to Tina S. The wife grew up learning Classical Piano and was an instructor. She was also a Concert Pianist. Her reaction is precious!! Very worth watching. "Tina S (Moonlight Sonata - Rippin' Guitar Version) Kel-n-Rich's First Reaction" ua-cam.com/video/7iOGlOI04OM/v-deo.html
DAMN!!!🤘🤘🤘🎵🎵🎵🎶
You are so busy performing, I'm surprised if you got the nuances of her playing. Like holding guitar on left leg, her picking with right hand, etc.
Pitch Meeting-17 year old girl kicks harder than anyone ever
you need to start doing reactions to killer classical music performances
beethoven would be impressed if he was alive and if he magically stopped being deaf
Now that's what I call a REACTION! Rock on brotha!
Until I see someone top that, she is the best in the world.
I have a wall. I have a nail. I used to have a guitar.
beethoven, born 1770, died 1827
Tina S's teacher Renaud LOUIS-SERVAIS 3/16/ 2022 :
"... a small precision concerning this version, it is an arrangement made by the incredible Italian guitarist, Michele "Dr Viossy" Vioni, who was kind enough to let us use his version."
What’s with the tongue bro?
Okay I'm wrong sorry I thought this was an old I saw 9 yrs ago my bad
Tina is the real deal
Someone know where's she naw?
vraiment la plus belle des super star qui le fait sans dire le moindre mot 💓
😂 😂 😂 😂
How would you like to walk into a guitar store her and she picks it up and starts playing
Maybe British ... maybe an American. But a French girl??!!
With her parents Yougoslavs.
And the thing that gets me is .. she looks so board playing this ..
BOARD ???????????????
you're right about so much work, I heard she spend a whole month on this one 😁
Can you imagine the unsuspecting new schlepp of a boyfriend who doesn’t know who she is and what she does and so decides to try to impress her with HIS guitar skills. She listens for a minute and says, “that’s nice. Here, hold my drink and let me see that guitar.”
Or a GIRLFRIEND !
Every time i stumble upon your newer videos it comes to me...this dude's lookin more and more like Arthur "Have some god damn faith" Morgan. And if I remember correctly. Mr Rock n Roll, you have some acting chops too? Yo...Netflix, Amazon, HBO...where's that RDR2 movie/series ....pick this man up and run it . You can't go wrong :)
Her Dragonforce cover was insane, and now this.. are you kidding me.. 😳😳😳😳🔥🔥🔥🔥 My mind cant handle this.. blows my mind how good she is 😳🔥❤
something is different....no hat!
My head is too big 😂 hair took the bats place
@@MrRockNRollLive lucky, I lost my hair at 28, but hey my head was luckily shaped to go que ball
Her playing is fing out of this world, but your reaction is what I did. WTF did I just watch!!! TINA!!!!!! I dug a hole and put all my guitars in it and fell over in envy. But you Rock!!
She was 15 when she did this
17
Thank you for your reaction. that was for me the best and funniest reaction I've ever seen.you see the whole thing and don't analyze every single note whether it was played correctly or not. Thank you
Next time you feel like listening to a little classical, give Bartok's "Miraculous Mandarin" a shot.
Time for more Tina S.!
Please do her cover of Steve Vai's "For The Love Of God."
It's so emotional!
