So, a bit of a correction: chemical weapons were (generally) not used during WWII, by either side (at least, on the battlefield; Germany was far more cavalier about using toxic gas on their own citizens in the concentration camps). It was WWI where mustard gas, phosphoric gas, and chlorine gas were prominently used.
Me remember my time playing Enlisted as a tanker crew: *shot the same spot over and over again until I pent though their armor and kill their crew entirely or destroy it outright*
I'd love a Warhammer 40k version of this where you build your squad from points costs; so you could have 15 guardsmen, 10 guardsmen with all special weapons, 5 heavy weapons teams, 3 space marines, a marine with a heavy weapon or 1 terminator. They'd all have "equivalent" power but fare better in different situations.
Actually, in WWII the Germans did not use mustard gas, as Hitler was exposed to it during WWI. I'm guessing he didn't want things to get TOO out of hand.
The Germans didn't like shotguns because that particular model didn't have a trigger disconnect, so it could fire as fast as an 18 year old grunt could pump it as long as they held the trigger down. 54 pellets of OO buckshot flying at them in a matter of seconds.
Japan has a weird relationship with Nazi's / WW2 in general because on one hand, they where allies so they have to show the Nazi's as strong and worthy of being allies with. On the other hand, US / Allies beat them, so they can't be shown as weak or that shows even worse for them having lost to that, especially because America is now their most important ally given that they are the only thing stopping China from, well, Tibeting them. Which makes for the odd fascination for Nazi stuff (there is even a Japanese word apparently for the type of, for want of a better word, Japanese weeb that's into Nazi fashion, an example character is actually the original life of Ainz), while simultaneously usually showing them as the bad guys (either as antagonists or morally questionable, see Tanya) and whatever is enemy their enemy is also often shown as strong.
8:40 five minutes? Your usual WW2 flamethrower last ~10 seconds others have already commented on the usage of poison gas in WW2 sorry if this comes off as nitpicky but as commenters on the internet this is our job and duty
I remember my time playing Enlisted and you can equip your soldiers with grenades/anti-tank grenade from different squads and the tanks are slow to move and turn their turret but not slow enough to die from a well placed anti-tank grenade though to me anti-tank grenade require timing to throw either underneath them or on their sides/rear.
The flamethrower morality brings to mind when the Germans called shotguns barbaric and wanted them banned when they were wholeheartedly using nerve gas like it was going out of style.
In an anime called Girls und Panzer it's shown that people can just own tanks and various other types of weaponry like the panzerfaust and the stielenhandgrenate (stick grenade)
I mean, to be fair, the MG42 just looks badass, so it’s understandable that it gets used a lot. Whether directly or as the basis for other weapons. A lot of the blasters from the Star Wars original trilogy were made by attaching motor vehicle parts on WWII surplus guns.
Actually managed to shoot a plane down with a rifle one time as I have a habit of being pestered by them and shiot in Hope's of hitting.....well on this one occasion as a Imperial Japanese Marine with their really bad starter rifle I managed to shoot the wing off of one of the float planes providing support(weird to see bud the sudden "oh shit it worked" was a bit of an adrenaline rush)
Said something about weebs and Japan enjoying German weaponry, have you heard of "The Saga of Tanya the Evil" anime? Definitely recommended, if German weaponry an isekai anime is your thing.
In the defence of flamethrower, it was much more of a BFG than it is in games. You don't run around like headless chicken. You approach the entry hole, plug that nozzle inside and 5 seconds later whole bunker is a hell branch on earth.
Hellsing Ultimate: Absolute gem. Also, there is an anime just called Hellsing, but Hellsing Ultimate is the actual canon line. It's a Fullmetal Alchemist vs. Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood thing.
"Why does Japan like showing nazis and nazi weaponry in anime?"
Because they other side dropped the sun on them twice.
I COULD dump the cultural explanation here but this is better 🤣
@@TheCrazyCapMaster ok well now I'm curious as for the cultural explanation.

But we Americans bring our shotguns across the ocean and *oh boy, was that uncivil apparently!*
@@LordHoth_90and then EVERY side still used flamethrowers which, just… I STILL don’t understand why flamethrowers are an actual official weapon, lol.
@@thegrimcritic5494Not anymore! Now it's a war crime!
If you want to talk about inhuman weapons, look into what Japan did to Chinese civilians after the Doolittle Raid
Enlisted is Gaijin Entertainment property so they used the damage cams on armor from War Thunder. Pretty sick.
It's also why monetezation on this game is atrocious.
Me remember my time playing Enlisted as a tanker crew: *shot the same spot over and over again until I pent though their armor and kill their crew entirely or destroy it outright*
@@doremiancleff1508 idk what you're playing, I haven't touched monetization and I've got almost everything now
It’s weird I got into War Thunder after Enlisted so I’m only just now realising it’s a game by Gaijin oh my god.
Personally, I prefer Crossout.
17:54 This was literally my reaction the first time I learned the BAR shot 30-06. Like, jesus now I know why it only carries 20 rounds, goddamn.

That would be so cool, especially if there was a "bug hunt" mode where it's kinda like Nazi Zombies but with tyranids.
BROTHER I AM PINNED HERE
You're looking for Kill Team. It's a squad-based, skirmish sized version of 40k.
12:31 The joke here was that he was building a *Spawn* point. Idk it just looked like you didn't get the joke.
Thanks
I genuinely appreciate how you actually know a lot of the assets he uses not many creators catch that much.
I had a banana today. Nothing significate about that.
I just felt like sharing.
What a coincidence! I also had a banana today!
nice bro!
Just don't eat too many in a single sitting or you will get radiation poisoni-

I was JUST thinking of this video earlier today and BEHOLD! A Chuckles In Flammenwerfer reaction appears in my suggestions! Nice reaction, man!
Friendly remainder for you to react to the ONE, the only.... Soviet Womble, you wont be dissapointed.
Thank you!!!! This guys just a cheap american remake.......
@@johnlewis3436 Hopefully this is a joke. I love Womble, but Badger is great too. No need to insult him.

Just smoked weed and this is the best video so far you're the best reaction person I've watched most of your reaction videos to badger videos

Artillery and Moartar are actually pretty good, they make aboard a 20m area completely uninhabitable for about 60 seconds.

considering it hasnt really been used since on a major battlefield, it kinda was going out of style lmao
The drilling is actually triple barrled with a rifle cartridge and two shotgun cartridges

flamethrower is a weapon you use when you dont want your enemies to die a easy death. BASICALLY WAR CRIMES EQUALS FUN TIMES
There is a reason why good times rhymes with war crimes
Yes because committing war crimes is fun
The Auto Tune National Anthem, IM DEAD😂

the 2 words that will never connect with therussianbadger's content is intense songs/sabaton songs
To the equality to Germans, allies also used toxic gas and other war crimes, but the victors write the past
