I believe this is the real deal. Fred Gibson ran this car in Australia with backing from Nissan. The car is now privately owned and raced. So I think this is original. It sound fan-f@#$ing-tastic :D
Recognised the old Anderson Bros Pinepac Mustang, a JPS BMW M3, one of the Holden Racing Team VL's, a Bob Morris Torana (I think) and the Bob Muir Army Reserve Group C Falcon.
Sorry if this is kind of a silly question, but is this an actual Group A touring car (as in, raced against the RS500s, M3 E30s etc) or is it a road car just kind of modified to roughly the same specs?
I love seeing a Mustang, M3, and Skyline all in one race; three cars I consider to be the holy trinity of global sports cars.
