    Yet to Watch 1917. Humanity and Sanity end when War begins. Dunkirk, Lone Survivor and American Sniper were great. But Fury, Hacksaw Ridge were gory and Violent War movies like The Pacific Band of Brothers and Saving Private Ryan but that 's the War whether you're in the Army Navy or Air force. Terrible things happen in War its kill or get killed. Enemy is not gonna spare you but kill or take prisoner amidst chaos of battles during Wartime. Zero Dark Thirty is a brilliantly made film on terror suicide attacks in Afghanistan and ends with Operation Geronimo hunting down Osama Bin Laden in Abbottabad Pakistan in 2011.

      Unkown Soldier suffers from the same problem as Beyond the Frontline, The Front Line and many movies like those.
      They deal with mostly unknown wars and the quality isn't that good for most people, be it cheesy dialogues, bad CGI or whatever.
      People don't forget about it, they just tend to stick to the more commonly known movies.

      1. A scene of estonians on the german side, where they have to salute to an official by saying the "H.H." salute and answering with, in estonian, "won't say it" (ei ütle), which if said quickly sounds _like_ the salute to someone who doesn't know estonian.
      2. A scene, now on the russian side of estonians, some estonian soldiers are transferred to the followed russian battalion in the film and when the person in charge says to be at ease, the 3 transferred soldiers go at ease... into the german position... and slowly reposition themselves to the russian stance. No one dies in that scene, just info that they were prior to transferring on the german side.

    one movie that always stuck out to movie the past couple of years was Peter Jackson's "They Shall Not Grow Old," he used amateur footage taken from the front lines of British and Commonwealth and remastered them. it was a movie in honor of his grandfather who fought with the ANZACs

    Christopher Nolan's "Dunkirk" could have been great. But he was too tight-assed to use CGI. So he could have filled that beach with 338,000 soldiers. He could have showed the 840 private boats that came to rescue the men. So in his version, maybe a dozen civilian boats rescued what looked like, maybe a thousand Brits and French. I guess he just couldn't afford a "cast of thousands" to produce an Epic.

    I LOVE💖THIS CHANNEL.. and iv hit the bell a long long time ago so i never miss a upload!
    the only fault i have and this is just my opinion,(PLS dont hate me for it) Lone Survivor should be in the top ten, i know its in the mentions but if you knew the TRUE story how the 4 men fought and died..it would be at number one. .even tho i LOVE 1917 Camerawork and non scene cuts etc etc. .just lone survivor imo is top 3 war movies of ALL TIME IF YOU KNOW THE FULL STORY. .like the lead man Mark Wahlberg was caught by the Taliban and they had him for a full day a night and a half day...if you dont know what they do to pow's look it up.. the ride donkeys goats get the hint, one man fought blind ,two eyes gone with NO FACE at all!! An AK Round hit him in the temple and took off his WHOLE FACE but his bottom lip ..but he fired every bullet/round from his rifle and hand gun shot 4 times and only died when they took his head ..you can imagine how ..that just two tiny bits of the story...i know Dunkirk is amazing and true too, AND MEN DIED IN SHIPS BADLY!! ,By plans bombs in bad bad ways ..i still think lone survivor beats it... and American sniper is Kinda true, BUT there was no other sniper on sniper fight ,all fiction ...the LIST IS AMAZING I LOVE IT! JUST MARCUS LUTTREL IS MY HERO AND IDOL AND IM NOT FROM THE STATES IM IRISH...but he fights for ALL OF US the U.K. IRELAND.FRANCE GERMANY ETC ETC.. fighting TERROR AS A NAVY SEAL!
    but that ASIDE...BEST MOVIE CHANNEL ON YOUTIBE FACT!!! IF YOU THINK IM WRONG..PLS NAME THE CHANNEL AND WE WILL HAVE A NICE CONVO ABOUT IT..THANK YOU 💖🙏😊

  • @theduke8504
    @theduke8504 3 роки тому +15

    Dunkirk was a disappointment in one large way. That beach had over 300,000 men on it at it's height. They could have done something with CGI or what ever, but it was obvious that there was barely a thousand or so men in the film! This takes away from just how massive an undertaking it truly was. Therefore it takes a big hit in the realism of the movie.

    • @loke72
      @loke72 3 роки тому +2

      Yes thank you i been saying this for a long long time some CGI soldiers would made it better ,on the beach we got we see only 1500cr men and no trucks jeeps half-track's AAA or tanks it didn't look epic and grand like it was in reality , but overall it was a good ww2 movie

    • @kyleseageruberalles2222
      @kyleseageruberalles2222 2 роки тому

      I disagree. I liked that all of the soldiers are real actors, and it also adds to the movie that the movie is so intense even when there is clearly not 400,000 soldiers on the beach, and that detail was what got me interested in WW2 in the first place. Hundreds of thousands of soldiers trapped on a beach trying to escape to their homeland, that is mind-boggling to me for some reason. It made me want to learn the full and 100% real story, and I think CGI soldiers would've made the movie seem more unrealistic and exaggerated, even if that is technically making the film more accurate. I understand why some may not like the movie, but it's a masterpiece to me. I also like that the movie wasn't trying to focus on how bloody it was and more on how stressful it was.

    Of the 10 that's on the list. Only three I've seen when they were in theaters which are Dunkirk, 1917 and Hacksaw Ridge. I thought the first two were absolutely theater experiences as the latter I saw was on my birthday. With Hacksaw Ridge though it actually and I'm not joking literally gave my dad diarrhea he later thought it was more bloodier than in Saving Private Ryan.

      Noooooo American sniper is so full of wrong information (lies) if you will it's USA propaganda if you have followed the backlash after the move you would have seen that Chris Kyle exaggerated much in his book and the move is one dimensional..

    Fury and Hack Saw Ridge? They have every cliche in the war-movie genre HEAVILY featured to the point of eye-rolling. And Fury features non-sensical tactics and has distracting special effects. And HackSaw Ridge was pure christian propaganda and was just a bad movie all around. I was and still am shocked that movie got decent reviews at all.

      So you are saying the life of Private Desmond Doss is complete propaganda? That man was awarded the Medal of Honor for what he did. That movie retold his story. Get over yourself.
