Quick question! I bought a trx450er off from someone who just did a bottom end on it. And they forgot to install one of the “locker” clips into the crank bearing side. So I was curious to know if you thought I could install the locker and bolt without a full tear down and only the top end? The locker is the one at the top not the bottom.
I had big bore stroker it was nice but cracked cylinder, went to high compression stock bore with oem crank and carillo rod way better same power if not more, stroker crank was worthless,in my opinion, Did you hot rod bearings? I really hope not cause they are junk, the crank is fine with oem bearings, did 16 xc races before I took it out, and it was mint condition when I removed it, I ran it with oem bearings.
So to clarify…this isn’t an XC build. Just a crazy build I’m doing for a guy. So this quad is gonna see some casual rippin around…no races. But 16 xc races is really good I’m my opinion dude. That’s 16 balls to the walls races. I hope you won some! If I were building myself a xc quad it would be stock bore for sure.

@@johnbruzzi4381 I’ve had very strong stock bore , and two big bores . There’s no comparison if the big motors are built right. Stock bore won’t even come close
Best full trx build I seen
Yeah man! Thanks for the build videos in the TRX!
Great video man can’t wait for the videos to come
Awesome rebuild!
Thank you!! Thanks to Bolt I ended up replacing every single outside bolt! My Yz build got the treatment too:)

I doubt you’d be able to get there because the crank is in the way…unfortunately you’ll have to split the cases
It’s going to sound mean 💪
Great video man I dig it
It's looking good !
Did the motor hold up ? My buddy had the 06+ w/+3 hot rods and 97 top and the rod went through the bottom cases in 4hrs . 490 stroker
So far so good!

Thanks man! I have a video in the making. So very soon I’ll have one up
Names of the songs please? Can’t wait for the final product.
If I give you a 83 Yamaha 225dx would you rebuild my motor for my 06 trx450r
good job!
What was the grease you were putting on the cases before putting on the gaskets?
I use Bel Ray waterproof grease.
101mm is the biggest you can go before modifying cases
Where did u find new shift forks
I ordered them on Www.rockymountainatvmc.com
clutch side crank seal is backwards

Thank you! Cerakote is awesome, there’s so many options
Why go big bore, why not just go high compression stock bore
This quad is not mine. Building it for someone
@@motion_mx ok but they should have made a few different decisions, just my opinion
@@johnbruzzi4381 maybe the wanted more power . Stock stroke hi comp can only go so far
@@marc96accord I've had both and my opinion it's the way to.

No dude. Don't put in a dry filter in your motor.
