Got both and I like the Vp9 better overall. I did put a Wilson combat grip module on my M18 and it helped but still not as good as the vp9 grip. Trigger vp9 as well, but I’m upgrading the trigger on my M18 soon. But straight out of the box the vp9 wins imo. I wasn’t looking to get my M18 I bought it in an auction for $410 so I couldn’t pass it up lol.
The Sig Romeo dots fit the M18 as well. I installed a Romeo 0 Pro as it’s bigger than the Romeo 1 Pro I ordered for it in FDE. I wish I had gotten the FDE Wilson grip module but I got a black one. I also got a VP9 and cut it for a dot. I am selling my M18 because of the fact of them going off in holsters. I did get the M18 because of the manual safety. My VP9 came with 2-17 round mags and my M18 came with 3-10 round mags
Japanese clearly wanted Quality construction and materials. The SIG is not without 'issues' and politics possibly a factor. Glock G19X is superb. The German H&K is superb.
Yes VP9 is better. I wonder why it isn't more widely adopted like Sig. My guess is cost. Sig is also good though. Looking to get a P365XL to complement my VP9 for my EDC arsenal.
@@christ.5258 It's part cost,( mostly politics) Generals and civilians getting hands greased and retraining for paddle mag release. Remember the shitty camouflage universal camo, pt belts, and constant change of dress uniforms all bad decisions but approved.
It's interesting that you like the Beretta, i've seen other videos like this with x military guys, even instructors and they all hated the Beretta.. lol
I never thought it was a bad pistol, but a lot of them are beat to all hell after decades of service. The ones in our squadron weren't in the greatest shape either. With the exception of the flight crew, we only carried them on one expeditionary deployment to Bagram back in '09, so most of my shooting experience with the platform came from commercial 92s, which were in near-pristine condition.
The sig modularity isn’t worth the loss of durability. I’ve had both the 320 frame is garbage quality . Trigger better on hk , but there is no comparison side by side on materials used .
VP9 all the way. Nothing is more ergonomic in the hand in my opinion. It is just built better as well....look at the guide rails on the VP9 compared to the tiny ones on the Sig....which one gives you more confidence longevity wise? I also don't feel very comfortable that the entire chassis on the P320 is held in to the frame entirely by just one pin. I understand they did that in order to make it modular per the US Army, however, Beretta followed the same requirements with their APX yet they came up with a much stronger and more secure solution. In all honesty - and this is just my opinion - but the P320 is vastly inferior to not only the VP9, but the Beretta APX as well. And yes, I have personal experience with all three of those guns. I enjoyed the video.
SIG P320 is an excellent natural platform to shoot. Having previously owned a P320 X Carry. Can't pass opinion on the HK Not yet crossed my path. Thanks for sharing your opinions

The m18 doesn't go off in holsters that was another model and sig fixed that.

I think park of it has to do with price & the paddle mag release. Some people really don’t like that me being a lefty it’s a good thing
