I like mossberg but ive had a bad experience with mag fed pumps. Although the lynx12 isn't very reliable with loads if u shoot 1300fps ammo or higher it is flawless. I would go with the lynx12 by far it is my favorite to shoot. When u add a detachable mag to a pump it takes away the pump being more reliable factor
To me, the biggest difference between a pump and an autoloader is that you can use an autoloader with one hand, should you be injured. Yes, technically you can work a pump one-handed, but it's damn hard to do. Autoloaders are picky about ammo, though-- they need hi-brass loads. Weaker rounds cause the occasional FTE jam. Nice gun... best wishes, A
Lynxs takes proper research and practice to use to its full abilities. Mossberg is basically for ease of use......Lynx is for engaging more than one target. When you get that Lynx dialed in, a 10 round mag will do the job a 5 shot pump just cant do.
Have you got a chance to break in the Lynx 12? Get a Recoil Guide Rod from Dissident Arms and a Rock-N-Lock guide from carolina shooters. Makes the action cycle smoother and easier to load.
Lynx hang up in video was likely due to low velocity cheap plastic bird shot, and he said he had the gas adjuster turned all the way up. He just purchased the Lynx. He needs to know and learn each weapon before making the video. Just about any semi auto 12 gauge is a better defense gun than a pump 12 gauge. I don't like to remove my visual site on the target to pump in a shell. Angry neighbors when shooting? Why isn't he at a legally operating gun range?
Haha f that BS is the same thing I say when people say that about a pump shotgun.. I'm not trying to scare the bad guy in my house, he's getting a lead donation and if he chooses to expire,he expires.
I can load a fully loaded mag with the bolt closed on my JTS an 12 gauge. Love the damn thing.

the one and only thing i dont like about the lynx is that you have to have the bolt locked back to load a mag.

Low brass doesnt mean weaker rounds, like you imply.
Just use the right loads (00 buck) for the Lynx 12

I haven't gotten a chance to take it out much, but I'm planning on getting some range time in this month. And thanks, I'll check those out!
