Hey dude I love your setup and LOVE all my Milwaukee tools and use the same drill just waiting for my hand auger flight blades to get dull and il replace whole thing with the pistol bit to perfect my ice setup for making holes. Thanks for the clarity on exact drill models. New subscriber 👍
Thank you. I don’t know anything about tools and was wondering if I need a hammer drill.
My drill will skip when drilling holes. Do you have any ideas? I do have the hammer drill, but it's not set on that.
I'm not an expert, but it sounds like an issue with the drill. If it's under 5 years old, Milwaukee will repair it for free.
It said to be use at lowest setting and not the hammer drill option. Are you using the hammer mode? It will ruin the blade as well
What size battery do you use? Because my 5.0s fucking suck. Maybe 10-15 holes.
An oem 5 amp should last all day. If they're heavily degraded, maybe get a fresh one.
@@MTBHoltOutdoors brand new. Must be the auger I bought making it work harder or something.
I used my buddy's last year and definitely got like 20 holes out of one 5.0 battery. 10 inches of ice.
Use a 8.0 battery for the best results. The 12.0 would be a bit heavier. When I go out I try to keep the weight down. I also use the 8.0 battery for the power source in my flip out. I get about 38 hours of light per battery on high. 48 hours on dim. I keep a spare battery in my rod locker.
