A really thought the box was empty when I picked it up! This thing is extremely light. I will give a mid-season review at some point but not a true test on 3 inches of ice.

The reason why there are “spare” unadvertised blades in the box is because there was a manufacture defect on a lot of their pistol bits that they knew about and they cut open all of the boxes and threw those in there to replace the possible defective ones on the auger.

@@BendItFishing ps rough year this year for us in the northeast for ice…I had to cancel a trip I had planned this weekend in northern Vt due to the lack of winter
I did see a video showing that it was defective but didn't watch the whole thing. But someone just pointed out to me that it looks like I'm putting a lot more pressure than I should on it.

Mine didn't come with replacement blades when I bought it a year ago. Or I didn't see them and they got thrown away LOL.
They were just thrown in the box I thought it was weird
