Almost a year later and I love having this ridgeline for my fly. Makes setting up camp quick and easy, plus where I camp I have so many different size trees the 35’ makes a difference. Hung it last night between two giant pecans and I had only about a foot of line left when all was said and done. Still working on getting the trap snug where there’s no sag on its ridge but I feel that’s user error and not the ridgeline’s.
I have to be honest. When I first started researching hammocks and tarps especially,I was confused on all the knots people use. This set up in a no brainer. Thanks for making things easier!
Dutch you make the greatest bling bling for all my camping needs. I try to use every type of Dutchware jewelry on all my setups. Thanks for showing how to setup and use your products. Wishing you and your family well.
I received this ridge line when I purchased my tarp from Dutchware. I had trouble keeping the Prusik soft shackles from sliding loose on the thin ridge line. Dutch suggested adding another wrap to the soft shackles’ prusik loop. That helped. I like the setup but I may switch to a solid prusik and add a ridid toggle to attach the tarp. 👍👍
That's funny because I was going to comment that sometimes I have a hard time sliding them because they're too tight. To where I make it a point to loosen up the prusik end every time before I tension the ridgeline.
Thanks, Dutch! My continuous ridgeline that I ordered from you 9exactly what you worked with in the video) just arrived. Timing couldn't have been better. Keep up the awesome job!
I use the Dutch continuous ridgeline paired with a mesh snakeskin and the Dutch Fleaz, setting up my tarp couldn't be easier or quicker! I 100% recommend their gear! 👌🏼
I LOVE your gear and own some pieces myself, my heart just bleeds that you can't order from the USA without spending a fortune on shipping and especially taxes and customs when it gets here to Germany. Used to order from dendronaut, which was the official importer here in Germany, but he had to close down his shop :( Love from Germany, keep being awesome Dutch!
I too keep mine perminently attached to my tarp. My other tarps setups where I share the ridge line and swap occasionally, I use the Stingerz ridgeline setup. That gives you a similar adjustability when centering, but can more easily disconnect when changing tarps or taking down setup (I don't like any metal hardware being pressed against my tarps when in stored, which is a nice thing about the wasp/dutch hook Ridgeline setup in this video when left on your tarp in storage/hiking to next spot)
Me to. If not a couple variations of it for different sizes. To useful not to use it for many last lighter duty applications on different sized lines. Ild definitely be up to to but a number of them for different things

Learn something new everyday, will definitely be ordering a ridgeline with new suspension straps soon!!!
Good to hear!

Every time you go through and demonstrate your equipment, I am convinced to buy more lol

I fixed that with #36 bank line. The tar on the bank line fixed that problem.
Thank you Dutch. I’ve bought one or two of your Ti pieces, just love them. They really are bling for tarps. My kinda bling, I might add. Thank you

"Titanium jewelry for your tarp" I do feel pretty fancy with my Dutch bling on the trails ;) Thanks for the video!
Very cool idea!
Thank you Dutch
I have this and it's awesome!

Just wondring. How much of an isue, if at all, is sag when having the ridgeline above your tarp?
Your tarp ridgeline and your hammock ridgeline are 2 different items. One should not effect the other.
I wish you made a wasp for 550 cord.
