If the force of fiction between the sheet, mortar and brick was initially equivalent to the shear force of the mortar bond, it might be ok, but I've seen what moisture and mortar can do to steel over time.
I like the content of you video. However, the background sound should be gentle which gives comfortable feeling. Here, it provokes stress and discomfort. We’re living in a fast moving society- stressful life. Thank you.😅

I'm not s builder (retired or otherwise) and even I can see that going very wrong.
Laying concrete on top of tiles will weaken the timbers underneath and probable collapse.

It's most likely stainless steel sheet.
