- A Spongebob short from 2003 is nowhere to be found. It's 10 minutes so it's basically a full episode, but there's no way to see it online or anywhere else.

Lost media always creeps me out for some reason...

Hey, I'm one of the people looking for this short.
I contacted CH Greenblatt, who doesn't remember the short being made, meaning the main staff didn't work on it. However, we've been trying to get into contact with an animator who supposedly worked on the short by the name of Goopy Rossi. Now, Mr. Rossi hasn't responded as far as I know, but the Lost Media Wiki Forums are still searching for it.
He could be denying existence.

the graphics look really similar to the video games on spongebob, or the 4D shows shown at like universal and stuff. they're on youtube too
It's also possible that since the game and this short's animation are very similar this was meant to be something hidden in the game, like a new chapter or something.

I searched for a long time for this short!! I remember the promo commercial exactly and it showed Bob in a matrix type scene dodging something in slow-mo and I thought maybe I was one of the few who managed to see it and that's the end of that but you've shed new light on it!

What most likely happed: With this being a parody of "The Matrix" I believe they used this unfairly. This was most likely rebooted because of:
1. Hate for the 3D style.
2. Sued by the Creators of The Matrix for unfair use
3. Or was full blown scraped because their audience would not understand the reference

It turns out there was no full 10 minutes of this short, the creator(s) confirmed the footage was just a bumper, no "full 10 minutes", just, It's all that we have, the footage is now confirmed to just be a bumper.
i like this new new series just as long as the episodes are not scary ones

I remember very little about it,I was asking my Mom about it when I was a kid and she said Nickelodeon supposedly aired it once purposefully due to the fact that other parents didn't like it that a Kids show was looking like an adult swim show considering the beginning makes it look like a hacker screen.Most parents sued Nickelodeon for this or they had to Stop airing it. Either way,one of those things happened for sure,as there has been myths that Nickelodeon is purposefully in a rush o make new shows just for money after they got sued.
My dad made a ton of vhs tapes of nick shows for me and my brother to watch back in 2002/2003 its a shame we didn't catch this.
