  • I recently learned that in addition to heart failure, now i get hybrid heart valve failure too after just 2 years of mitral valve replacement recovery time after open heart surgery recovery. My heart diseases and disorders started with mitral valve prolapse for this cardiac patient. My heart surgery vlog covered the cardiac surgery 2 years ago having heart valve surgery to remove the old bovine hybrid valve and receive a pig valve heart (mitral) valve. In addition to the heart failure described in previous videos, it now looks like i'm also having hybrid heart failure through mitral valve stenosis. More testing is scheduled to better understand the heart valve stenosis the suspect from the recent echo that looked like hybrid valve stenosis.

Hey Dude, I am so sorry to hear about this bad news. You seem like an awesome guy. I especially liked your comments of taking it day by day and living your future life to the absolute fullest. I'm from Canada and I had my Aortic Valve replaced 19 years ago and every checkup I am terrified of any news like this. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and I sincerely hope your surgeons can figure something out in the near future.
    Keep on rockin!

Thanks so much for the kind words. 19 years on a valve? good for you, i was happy to get 13 out of my last one! Bad news with a valve implant will eventually happen, but the less you focus on fear and worry about something out of your control, the more you'll be able feel lucky for getting those 19 years and appreciate each day you get. Take care of yourself and keep rockin too!

Thanks so much, and it's great to hear of others benefitting from my experiences. i was pretty shocked on that bicuspid too, guess it wasn't on the radar with all the other messes happening. Thanks and take care of yourself as well!

@@NoLimitsNoRegrets dang, im so sorry to hear that..mine is kidney cancer. They took out my left kidney 11 years ago and 4 yrs later it spread to my lungs. Thats when it was considered terminal and they put me on a daily chemo pill that I have to take until it quits working. After 7 years of it still working Im still kicking.. Now you know why im afraid to start having heart problems..Nothing compared to yours though, youve been through the ringer....we got this!

@@mikeb2611 lives like ours separate the warriors from the mortals for sure. Dang glad to hear you're doing well with it and understand on the heart. in contrast, my heart is garbage, but in Jan i got my skin and colonoscopy checked for cancer to make sure not to add more problems!

Sorry to hear, brother. I'm trying to reply to your video and dog is up my ass. She feels my stress. I'm not far behind you. I still refuse to waste my time with the witch docs, but I feel the changes too. I hope they help you get more time. My exit is 10-15 years overdue already. Live your life. Do those things you want to do. They really don't know how it will go. You know how you feel and what you have left. Some days will be shit, some days you'll be doing 120+ with a shit eating grin on your ugly mug. Just live! Outlast your pup. He needs that. He doesn't need to lose both of you! I hate to see you lose him, but I'd love to see you put him to rest with Sunshine first. Take care of yourself, but have fun in these days too. Take the good days and life like you're dying. Watch that sunrise, sunset, smell the roses, dodge those stupid deer. Drag a knee. Live!!!

Thanks, and sorry to hear you're having valve leaks in the heart. Some ppl live their whole lives with leaky valves, including my grandfather until his 90s. So good to hear the videos help. Much appreciated and take care of that ticker!

Viewing your update, so wouldn’t you be better off opening your heart and letting them work on it rather than waiting ? Also, how did all this come about ? From birth ?
You keep advocating for yourself and your positive attitude, here to support if you need anything.
Sending good energy your way !!

Thanks so much. way more complicated than that. currently opening me again is not an option. started as a heart murmur, add lots of alcohol, caffeine, stress, and no sleep for years, and here i sit. much appreciated.

no, and the day of tests last week actually showed something different going on vs the stenosis. i'll have another video soon explaining what we're seeing now. I'm waiting for the follow up with the doc to see if there's anything they can do about it. More to come....
