Great review! But.. I find it hilarious that the 2 ads breaks you placed in the video. I got one from Tomorrow's Filmmakers and then Full Time Filmmaker 😂

Bro why are you so chill to listen to? Lol I didn’t expect to find a high quality comparison of these courses, but watching this was just as pleasant as your comparisons were insightful. Thanks man!
OK I left a comment the other day and I'm back. I am a novice and chose tomorrow's filmmakers and used this review to help make my final decision. But after enrolling in the program I now feel like you are not totally honest. anyone who is serious about learning should not, IMO, enroll in Tomorrow's Filmmakers. It's only $97 and right now I feel like its an absolutely fair price. The beginning of the class is basically commercials for a bunch of outdated gear, almost all Canon. then when we get down to the learning I realized that this is the loosest curriculum you will ever find. this is NOT a traditional course and the learning is NOT linear. They do NOT start from the beginning and build a foundation of fundamentals. It is LITERALLY a bunch of youtube videos strung together in the order of whatever this guy feels like talking about. It's fun and I guess this is the way young people learn nowadays. Let me be clear! I am not disappointed because it only cost $97 and it's information that I want. If I had paid any more than that I would be HOT!!!
Thank you for the clear and concise reasons for each course's points. You explained everything really well and I'm glad that my choice was for Tomorrow's Filmmakers because I'm more into narrative storytelling. Thanks to your video, now I know that will be the right choice! Appreciate it!
Nice comparison man. I’ve seen other “unbiased” comparisons before that aren’t honest about the quality FTF offers over TF in it’s respective ways. Keep up the good work! Look forward to seeing more content from you.
Yeah I've seen a video or two from people that worked for one company or the other, claiming to be unbiased about it. They always choose the course they work for as the winner though (who would have thought?)
I tried both courses. If you are not a running a business out of this, or if you are learning for a single person UA-cam channel , these courses are not worth it. Just refer the video titles of these courses and do your own reasearch in UA-cam, UA-cam got more helpful tutorials than these courses. The only thing it will take more time . Learning basics of film making and gears , lighting , UA-cam is the way to go . Or if you are rich and you want to save time and don't need out of the box knowledge the course is your way. In this course you will only get one person's experience only.
So helpful, thanks Ryan! If you still got the membership, an update would be highly interesting comprising new technologies, editing softwares, social media trends etc.
Perfect review 👍 I love Parker but the reality is that not everyone has the $800.00 to buy Parker's course so I went to Tomorrow's Filmmakers. Maybe later I'll be able to buy Full Time Filmmaker.

I have a question. I'm a bit scared about the "christian school" or "christian movie" mentions on the tomorrow filmmakers website. Does it influence in anyway the courses or the way they teach you filmmaking? Hope you'll see this message and thx for that very helpful vid. Much lov
Hi Lucy! They do talk about their Christian views in the course. I’m not religious at all so it was enough to almost be annoying... But it doesn’t take anything away from the great information that they have in the course. Hope that helps!

I have a question, what gadget do we need to learn this courses , because they will teach theory on filmmaking...what gadget do we need to do practical of the theory . Like what camera , light and all ....how you do practice it , when you learn it from home ??
The parts in FTF about things like real estate, commercials, weddings, etc. is better, but is there something similiar in TF? Because I have this problem: FTF is far too expensive for me and TF is on sale for 97$ right now. Since I'm far more interested in the stuff FTF is good at: does TF have these things too? Or should I rather wait and pay 6 time as much for FTF as soon as I have the money?
The one thing that gives me pause with Tomorrows Filmmakers is the emphasis on it being a "christian" film making course. The course even has an entire chapter devoted to their "Christian worldview." That's all well and good but arguably a religious world view is irrelevant to a film making course. I'm not really interested in a couse that is just an excuse to try to minister to me or make me part of their tribe as the Think Media youtube guy calls it. Is their fb group full of "christians" helping "christians" so If you don't buy into their worldview the networking potential works against you? I'm also wondering if the christian stuff is peppered throughout the course or limited to their chapter on their worldview? Like Im interested in learning film making techniques not about how much god loves me. I think skipping out on addressing any of this this when reviewing the two courses is misleading, I guess?
I'm taking tomorrow's and the Christian bit isn't too bad. He does mention it time to time and it's noticeable but not that frequent. The facebook group doesn't mention it too much. It's not enough to hinder the experience even if you're not into religion.
Thanks for the comparison, i bought fulltimefilmmaker course two years ago, it is a great course, lots of infos, but, i ask for a refund, because i am more toward storytelling filmmaking rather than videography-making. I am yet to found a course on high quality storyteling filmmmaking. Cheers!
You’re welcome! Tomorrow’s filmmakers is the closest to short film type of storytelling course that I’ve found. Other than that, I’ve taken Colin and Samir’s storytelling course on Moment that talks about storytelling in the context of UA-cam. That was a real good one.
@@RyanMichaelss Ah thanx for the tip ! i will look into it, but, was a liitle bit disapointed by Moment course when i bought the Jesse Driftwood one, there's so much more for free on his own youtube channel, haha, what? Anyway, i guess story telling filmmaking ad is next level pro so i guess pros don't have time to make courses :)
My question is i want to do more narrative based Filmmaking, but that was literally the only stand out point for Tomorrows Filmmakers. All the other stuff seems very useful, in a full-time filmmaker. Would it be useful if I wanted to learn narrative-based filmmaking to take Fulltime filmmaker anyway?
Hey Jared! I’d totally say full time filmmaker doesn’t cut it for narrative films. Parker is pretty anti-narrative films actually 😅 but they do say they’re currently working on a section for it. Tomorrow’s filmmakers entire course feels like it’s designed for narrative films. So I think that’d be the best option for you. Worst case- after you buy it and don’t like it, you could get a refund! 👍
I was hopeful for FTF, but the part I needed was not there. None of the guru's seemed to really hit the spot. How to FIND clients. All of these courses give you the same cookie cutter social media jabber, but unless you spend a lot of money advertising, you're not going to get clients. Being a good, or even great filmmaker means nothing if you can't get the people to see you. Even though I spent thousands on courses like these, I ultimately closed my business and now just make films for fun.
Check out 90 Day Filmmaker from the creator of Tomorrow's Filmmaker: www.90dayfilmmaker.com/home. I haven't signed up for this but it seems to go into greater detail about how to find and approach clients. Note there is also a discount to this course for those who purchase Tomorrow's Filmmakers.
I looked at the time stamp of this video and you might want to revisit/redo this video as Tomorrow's Filmmakers has included things like Real Estate and Music video's. Also they just had a sale (which might not available now) for $97.00 lifetime membership where as Full Time Filmmaker is $799.00 not quite clear whether that is lifetime or yearly. Unfortunately I do not have $799 to pay for FTF to compare the two. For some people $500 (after spend $$$ on equipment) difference between FTF ($800) and TF ($300) is a lot of money. Thumbs up to you though for being successful enough to spend that kind of money to do a video like this!
Yes tomorrow’s filmmakers does have real estate and music video sections but they were nowhere near as good as the FTF versions of those. Good luck with your business!
Do you think it would be worthwhile to do both courses? I am more inclined to Tomorrows Filmmakers because of the writing aspect but I dont want to lose out on the practical and business part of it...
Do you believe there is a marginal $97 worth of content in Tomorrow's Filmaker to make the purchase worthwhile for people who already own Full-Time Filmaker? IOW, is getting both for the extra $97 worthwhile?
@@abnerlouischarles never been so I have no idea 🤷♂️ I’ve heard good for meeting other people in the field. But you could totally learn on your own and network faster. Depends if you personally need the structure and have the time I guess
@@RyanMichaelss Last question. Which one of the course do you think would be more useful for a travel, Daily life adventure niche? And also should I invest in one and combine it with youtube tutorials?
@@abnerlouischarles I mean you should learn from UA-cam tutorials regardless! But I did love the UA-cam section inside FTF. Tomorrow’s filmmakers didn’t have a UA-cam section

I'm taking tomorrow's and the Christian bit isn't too bad. He does mention it time to time and it's noticeable but not that frequent. The facebook group doesn't mention it too much. It's not enough to hinder the experience even if you're not into religion.
You are over exaggerating
@@pan_tvofficialk9 No I'm not.
Maybe it’s a sign you should a bible for once
@@Jonaslokk I sincerely doubt it.
Apparently Tomorrow's Filmmaker its for me. Thanks, mate.
Glad to help you decide! 🍻 cheers
Great video
Thank you!
Thanks man,
ill have a look at the Company I'd thought i'd go with
You’re welcome dude 👍👍 have fun learning the stuff in the course!
Does Tomorrow Filmmaker provide certificate sir?
I personally learned more from Justus' free videos that Parker's. But I'm not in the videographer space, I'm making an Indie film.
Ryan! First time watching your vids. So good. You have great screen presence & this video was super informative 🙌🤸
Thanks so much Holly! I just watched your short film "RUN" it was so good pretty terrifying
Do you think it would be worthwhile to do both courses? I am more inclined to Tomorrows Filmmakers because of the writing aspect but I dont want to lose out on the practical and business part of it...
But what about 14 day film maker?
Haven’t checked that one out. I’ll look into it!
got any special discount for fulltime filmmaker course?
Nope no discounts sorry man! I paid full price myself.
Have any of them seen this video
Lol yes they have…
Thanks.
🍻
Do you believe there is a marginal $97 worth of content in Tomorrow's Filmaker to make the purchase worthwhile for people who already own Full-Time Filmaker? IOW, is getting both for the extra $97 worthwhile?
Invest in FTF or buy a Black Magic 4K? 🤷♂️
Depends how much stuff you already know 🤷♂️
Found this video too late 😭😭😭😭😭
Hi ryan, do you think the TF course is good enough to get started as a freelancer filmmakers.. Im planning to get the course cause its only 97$ now😁😁
Hey dude that’s a good deal!
Have you bought the course ? I am a beginner and planning to spend my savings on it !!
Thank you!!!! This was very helpful since I was hoping to find a course focused more on short films narrative style content.
So If I was new to creating contents and needed guidance what tools would I need before I jump in?
Go for either one. They both talk about gear for beginners
@@RyanMichaelss Also should I consider film school?
I got the whole FTF course for just half the price. How's that?
No idea lol sweet deal for you though!
They do promo last year and I got their coupon code. But since their announcement last night of the changes in their website and prices, I tried their coupon again and it no longer valid.
Are those courses downloadable or stream only ?
I don’t think you can download them
Got both of these at they’re cheapest prices, TF at 97$ and FTF at 397$
