Love you Parker man, your content has brought a ton of value in my filmmaking knowledge. Just want to let you know that. I'm pretty sure Landon will take this whole brand to another new level. ❤
This was emotional. Full time filmmaker allowed me to start a life that I never dreamed of. 5 years ago, I was working a horrible job making no money and now I run a 7 figure production company with 5 full time employees and 11 contractors. It’s all thanks to Parker and FTF.

May I know how you got started and how you got customers and how you decided which type of videography you should specialise in?
@@JohnHenkamGangte for sure! There is a podcast episode on a playlist on my channel where I talk about my journey.
But essentially did low end jobs and made connections with business owners locally, did a lot of real estate, weddings and concerts. Then progressively took on larger and larger projects.
Biggest thing is shifting your expertise to “I’m just a videographer” to “I’ll build a strategy for your brand to get recognized online,” video just happens to be the best way to do it.

@@LycanVisuals I used the "Free to Fee" method right away and want to say that I landed my first real estate shoot a couple weeks after taking the course and then a free wedding that same month and then from there everything snowballed.
In terms of how much skill I had... I would say that just comes with practice and time, looking back at those old videos, it's clear I didn't understand the things I do now; but wouldn't have known that without the experience.
Best advice... just get out there, make connections and offer your services to build your portfolio. Eventually something will stick, best of luck!

I think this is GREAT news! Those of us who 'bought in' to FTF paid for a COURSE. We don't get to hold Parker hostage in perpetuity. I love that he gets to move on to the next phase of his life and career, while Landon -- who is the PERFECT person to take this over by the way! -- is passionate about the FTF platform and community, and ready to move it forward too. This is what a legacy looks like, Parker and FTF has given me a ton of value over the past couple of years. The knowledge and skills from this channel contributed in me getting a full-time job creating video content. Even though I don't frequent the channel as much anymore, I am incredibly happy Parker has passed the torch over to Landon.

I am sad to say, but I will miss Parker. I started my filmmaking journey when I was in college, and Parker used to upload videos by his name on this channel. I think I speak for everyone in the community when I say thank you Parker. I became a full time videographer 18 months ago through all of the knowledge I gained from the course. I signed up for tons of courses in the transition into this career and this is the only one I stuck with. You always put your community first and it never once felt like a money grabbing exercise. You gave so many of us the skills to follow our dreams and I am absolutely delighted that you are able to spend more time with your family and doing that things that are important...wherever the next chapter leads, just know that you have all of our respect. I have known this channel from when it was named "Parker Walbeck". I slowly got introduced the name of Fulltime Filmmaker. Not only parker, but the entire team who has shown their face to me through youtube have and still are inspiring me throughout so far. I am going to be a better filmmaker and will let you guys have credit in how I am going to be in the future. Parker’s video on how to setup for an interview was the first camera video that I watched. It took me down a UA-cam rabbit hole helping me with my videography and photography future. Glad Parker has his mind focused on his family and burn himself out. Also glad to see the channel moving forward.

I clearly remember the moment when I watched your proposal video in 2018. And FTF course cost whipping 599$, and I had only a little bit more till the end of the month to feed my family. And I had that “This is it moment” As probably you had when you first watched David Supertrump video.
And that choice was so hard, because I didn’t have any support from anyone around me including my family. But I bit-the-bullet, bought it, studied carefully it and there wasn’t a moment I regret about it. Since that moment I learned the lesson that the toughest decisions creates fortune in a long run.
I’m grateful that I met you and your team through the course of my life journey. Now It’s time to move forward!

I don't want to speak for Parker here, I'm sure he's still doing film work. But I think it's awesome that's he's been grinding (as well as the FTF team and families) and scaling to the point where he's quite earned the choice to go back to being a Part-Time Filmmaker. Not like we're close to retirement here, but that's a great level of success. And at a good point where Landon is rearing to take the reigns and go nuts, this seems like a solid transition for both of you. Congratulations, guys!

When I first came across the adverts on Instagram & FB, I was sceptical and thought it was just another video scam and wasn't legitimate. It took a few months of seeing the adverts before I decided to check it out, and I'm so glad I did. Full-time filmmaker answered so many questions I had when starting my video business alone. It felt like every time I hit a problem, they had experienced it and covered it in a video. I'm so glad I decided to join and the return of value from the course has been huge! And I wouldn't be where I am today without them.

I've really enjoyed seeing the course and yourself progress since I've joined a few years ago, it takes a real maturity to know when is best to give the reins to somebody else and let it continue to grow rather than fade away. I bought into the course when i landed my first retainer client that enabled me to devote all my time to content creation (with the help from my family we leveraged everything to make it happen) that was approx 4 yrs ago. Since then Ive grown into an agency with a specialization in digital content (not ads, just organic). Although I haven't completed the course, I found the value far exceeded the price, and I still do. Congrats Landon for taking the helm of the ship, and I will continue to be a raving fan. I have only seen the the youtube videos, never bought anything from FTF, but from the youtube videos alone, my Camera and Editing abilities improved so much, which shows, how awesome Parkers (and everybody elses) work was.
You guys were the main reason i started my Wedding Film business here in Australia last year. I started with 10 weddings in total on 2022. Fast forward to end of 2023, i’m proud to say that i shot 50+ weddings in total (my business + freelance)

This is by far the best solution, recently a few channels have game overed, Cinecom just announced the same thing but their channel will just stop. And whilst I still respect their choices, as a viewer i selfishly feel sad as you and many other channels are what got me into being a full time filmmaker.
