This is the type of thing that makes me miss being in the industry. We used to do this twice a month and it was always a great time with friends and staff.
Glad that even the non-korean guests enjoyed the food! The soy fermented crab and abalone could be difficult, but I'm grateful for their positive reactions toward the food.
my grandma always feeds me her wraps lmao. Ill be sitting at the table and she will make a lettuce wrap and just push it to my mouth, i love that woman so much.
I think I heard they filmed one a long time ago and it was such a shitshow that they couldn’t use it, and than they ended up doing hangover cures instead
When you know how to eat well and have a great time and enjoy yourself with friends family and learning about life and knew things, that will help your in the long run of life.
There's a Korean-fusion restaurant and killer bar that's truly a hidden gem, not only for its food -- but for the abundance of very hard-to-find IPAs in all 60 of them. It's called Small City Tap House, Sandusky Ohio (I know). It can't be beat!
Watched this video before I moved to Brooklyn and I've always wanted to go. I finally went recently and I'm telling y'all...I was so disappointed. The server says that 3 strips of pork belly serves 2-3 people. It barely feeds one. 😂😂 going to K Town in Manhattan is actually around the same price and gives WAY MORE food. Makes me sad that these owners are offering this gentrified version of authentic K-bbq.
Munchies has been doing this for years. Buzzfeed probably copied. Munchies is a branch of VICE news... It's their food channel, series, whatever you want to call it.
If there were a White Coin (North Korean flag), the Flushing joint's restaurateur would be automatically subject to promissory execution and as well an immediate foreclosure of the joint.
hoooooly when do they go to the bathroom, how are these people digesting allllll that food they went to 3 places i usually can only go to ONE place and thats it and mostly drinking not eating ejejjejejje but still. HOW do defy the laws of digesting haaaa
It's def similar, and she put in capers which makes it more similar, however there are distinct differences. Also, yookhwe really just means "raw beef". So, korean cuisine uses it in a variety of ways. It wouldn't really be fair to say it IS beef tartar
Do you realize how many raw and fermented foods that most people eat every single day there are? Get the fuck outta here. It's perfectly safe. Anything done correctly is safe. Like skydiving, or driving, or chopping cabbage.
You can still have fun without being on something. These people are pretty much showing you that 👍. You can't be mad at this "boring" episode because this how these people have fun. If you have to be high or drunk to have a great night, that sad.
I dig the relaxed vibe in this one; just regular people hanging out and enjoying some good food.
The most refreshing and REAL episode of this show to come out in awhile. MAD RESPECT to Korean food!!!
Simple, down-to-Earth folks with awesome food. Great episode.

So when are we going to see Chef's night out at Parts and Labour with Matty Matheson and his staff huh Munchies?
Dave Warren I believe there was already an episode
I would love to see it. It'll be hard for Matty. He doesn't drink at all anymore.
wheres the episode?
there has been many independent videos of Matty on UA-cam but not where his co-workers join him.
I think I heard they filmed one a long time ago and it was such a shitshow that they couldn’t use it, and than they ended up doing hangover cures instead
I started watching munchies cause of the chefs night out. Now there are very little. We need more episodes! One with Sean brock!
How have I never seen this episode!? Wow. Definitely one of the best episodes.
Love this series!
I thought this might be quite boring at the beginning but all that incredible Korean food.... So good.
chefs night out in brooklyn ---> flushing, queens
Chef's night out always the best ! It's even better when they took care of the bills !
Fairway Supermarket in the Buffet every now and then has this amazing Korean chicken with this great tasting soy sauce to go on it.
They seem like nice people.
This was a fun night out, complete with crazy sidewalk dancing. 😜 More women chefs and restaurant owners please.
I must have seen 6 different videos in the past few weeks talking about soy marinated crab, and how 'rare' it is to find!
lol...i lover her korean ajumma style!!! so deceiving...."like do you speak english or oh shitttt you do!!!"lol....awesome episode love korean food!
Korean food is sublime
What part of Brooklyn is Queens in exactly?

He put the rice in the shell of the soy-marinated crab. He’s been taught well. 👍🏻

How fitting for a video to be about Korean BBQ. When Old Oompa Loompa is about to get us into a war with the DPRK.
"The night is dark and full of Hipsters
Nice episode hehehe the chef is simple

If there were a White Coin (North Korean flag), the Flushing joint's restaurateur would be automatically subject to promissory execution and as well an immediate foreclosure of the joint.
Kim Jong-un and his "authoritative family" hate White Coins' being outside of North Korea (including South Korea).
구독중인데 한국분 나와서 반갑네요. 양념치킨! 떡볶이! 순대!
3rd wheeling at its finest
People upset because this munchies doesn't have any weed involved. I'm delighted and hope that they continue this way.
Francisco Rodriguez nope its just this series is full of uninteresting hippies, its there standalone videos with guests that are great
Exactly! nice to see some people that do not curse every 2 second
Aye, agreed. If it makes people funnier characters, sure.. But don't let it be a focus.
I'm upset that she didn't eat the deviled egg in 1 bite.
Francisco Rodriguez trueeee...be appropriate in the show..i hate when theres any weed involved hahaha its so disturbing 😂😅
11:39 tig ol bities
I’m surprised you didn’t visit je ju do Sushi ... sad

hoooooly when do they go to the bathroom, how are these people digesting allllll that food they went to 3 places i usually can only go to ONE place and thats it and mostly drinking not eating ejejjejejje but still. HOW do defy the laws of digesting haaaa
goose003 They probably just don't eat much for a day or two before.
were they having raw beef ?
Krishna Kumar yeah, similar to beef tartar
fickmeindreamcacao it is beef tartar haha
kakuella idk, do you put Asian pear in beef tartar? Coz we do in our yook-hwe
It's def similar, and she put in capers which makes it more similar, however there are distinct differences. Also, yookhwe really just means "raw beef". So, korean cuisine uses it in a variety of ways. It wouldn't really be fair to say it IS beef tartar
Isn't cooking those clam things alive kinda cruel?
~~There's no pretense; it's just good fucking food!~~
mm
her husband looked so much like the third wheel
Love this series for the food but after a while it becomes chefs vs food and I start to feel sick 🤢
Where is The pizza show? Only reason im here xD go home
Her husband sounds and looks like Dan Harmon.
why would you cook crabs ? because it's safer way to eat them
Do you realize how many raw and fermented foods that most people eat every single day there are?
Get the fuck outta here. It's perfectly safe.
Anything done correctly is safe. Like skydiving, or driving, or chopping cabbage.
use seatbelt
First 30-seconds, white dude trying to claim a rendition of a Korean phrase as his own when it's already a saying in Korea.

Kpop hehee IU!! 😅
Waiting for those PETA comments like...
11:35 Play Magnolia by Playboi Carti over the video and thank me later
Yoooooooo
I'm available for this anytime as well. I need driving around and for my dinner bills to be taken care of. Call me munchies
I'm so glad you didn't feature a handful of pretentious hipster fairies in this one.
"we called the clean up team (employees) to come eat our scrap's"

I'll never go to a restaurant where I have to cook my own meat.
Swag
5 minutes in and didn't see a single black person. But they are in Brooklyn? I cut that mess off!
Meh...I enjoyed the episode.
