Another brilliant episode. A Chef cooking food at a restaurant you'd want to eat at. Real talent on a night out dining on delicious food prepared by friends. Forge was hilarious. Keep sharing these videos. Blessings ChefMike.
Then I love south east asia, but I guess I consider anything Myanmar on over East Asia, but Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines are all great places with great culture.
Khe-Yo is still open (eight years later)! Am about to visit NYC, this coincidentally popped up on my UA-cam feed (*cough*cough*) and the food looked good and unique. So, I googled it.
This was extremely well-cut. First with his corny little joke and then right into the Munchies Intro, then later with the sneeze right into the next scene.
Did anybody else notice at 09:09 the dude with the Mohawk straight up sneezed on the dude on the other table, like WTF! Lol I would've been pissed as hell if someone did that!
I every once in a while smoke a joint at the beach but the conditions must be perfect . Lucky i live in Australia and the weather is awesome most of the time . A telescope and the night sky app is the bomb !
Man, its good to see some doing the REAL REAL food from our region. I'm not even Laotian (Thai) buts its awesome that he has the guts to make authentic shit with "the funk" and everything. Thai people are so scared that people won't get it and so make our version of american Chinese food and sell that (pad Thai, etc etc...) My dream is to make shit like this. This shit is 10000x's what everyone thinks our food is. Props to this brother right here.
Woah the one guy is an Iron Chef no? The food here looks amazing but I absolutely hate papaya. XD (except Balut that stuff is so wrong and gross..) I hope the next Munchies is based out of Toronto since I want the opportunity to try a location featured. :3
100newkid lol. .. we'll first off troll, never claimed to be Asian . You're the racist person assuming that I am based on a picture. Yes that is me and I am not Asian (I'm Mediterranean and native Canadian ) not that it matters. And finally stop trolling someone for having an opinion, shut up , and enjoy the damn episode.
I feel like if i was at that table and they had all eaten it i'd submit to peer pressure and probably try it. But you know we should be open minded and willing to go out of our comfort zone to try new things and create experiences!
Usually, Munchies only shows chefs cooking East Asian cuisines. So it's refreshing to see lesser-known south-east asian cuisines being shown. ....they should do a feature on other Asian cuisines like Indonesian, Nepali and Sri Lankan.
No way the chefs and the entourage who do the chefs night out episodes have all those meals on the same night. Even if they only nibble at each stop and the rest goes to the camera crew.
Def one of the best 'chefs night out' the chef has passion for what he loves doing and doesn't try too hard on his image!
That chick at 10:00 had me in stitches!
"what the fuck is this?"
She thought it was cheaters the tv show.
Conan Hood Hahah, now that you mention it... that's exactly what it looks like!
***** And then 10:05 he's like ".. ITS A FRIENDLY BAR!".... ahah
+Jakey Bow haha, i didn't even notice this
I’m watching this rn in Corona times and they did so much sneezing and food sharing that it made me so anxious
Another brilliant episode. A Chef cooking food at a restaurant you'd want to eat at. Real talent on a night out dining on delicious food prepared by friends. Forge was hilarious. Keep sharing these videos. Blessings ChefMike.
This was a good episode. Just genuine people and really good food.
And pbr's
This was my favourite chef's night out so far. Really cool people.
I love the diversity of East Asian cuisine
but Laos is not east Asian..it's a country in South-east Asia. East Asia is Japan, China, Mongolia and South & North Korea.
Southeast asian stupid.
Then I love south east asia, but I guess I consider anything Myanmar on over East Asia, but Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines are all great places with great culture.
***** its Alright man I only want peace and love here
OP seems like a cool dude. And I agree. I love Southeast Asian cultures
This is one of the rare episodes that I save for later... it looks great!
THEY WERE SOBER AT THE END, this is unacceptable.
Khe-Yo is still open (eight years later)! Am about to visit NYC, this coincidentally popped up on my UA-cam feed (*cough*cough*) and the food looked good and unique. So, I googled it.

Watching this during a pandemic and seeing a guy sneeze and no one say anything is pretty surreal.

This was extremely well-cut. First with his corny little joke and then right into the Munchies Intro, then later with the sneeze right into the next scene.

Woah the one guy is an Iron Chef no?

Yeah thought the same thing, its him.
They did a episode on Momofuku Toronto before.
Dave yep, I know they've done multiples in Toronto like Fat Pasha and Guu Izakaya's as well. Just hoping for the next one to be Toronto again. :)
You're not asian if you don't like/love papaya salad. what a poser... Is that even you in the profile pic? Probably not. wannabe asian poser alert.
100newkid lol. .. we'll first off troll, never claimed to be Asian . You're the racist person assuming that I am based on a picture. Don't you mean Big Laosbowski?
lmao marc at the end with his drunk introspective rant bout his life
nice episode, don't think i could face up to the balut though
I feel like if i was at that table and they had all eaten it i'd submit to peer pressure and probably try it.
But you know we should be open minded and willing to go out of our comfort zone to try new things and create experiences!
***** word.. you gotta always try something once
dammmn why'd I start watching munchies videos when I'm on a diet.
Usually, Munchies only shows chefs cooking East Asian cuisines. So it's refreshing to see lesser-known south-east asian cuisines being shown. ....they should do a feature on other Asian cuisines like Indonesian, Nepali and Sri Lankan.
Why isn't this show on Food Network?
the Asian version of Mark Wahlberg.
Looked in the comments just for that hahaha
😂😂😂
Except fot the PBR tall noys, good show
No way the chefs and the entourage who do the chefs night out episodes have all those meals on the same night. Even if they only nibble at each stop and the rest goes to the camera crew.
Piss off chinaman. Your opinions are disregarded.

All of this food looks so tasty and delicious minus the "Funk".

That egg was so confusing and looked horrific to me. The egg was almost a chick!
simplyshama That's the point, once it's cooked it's like chicken soup in an egg.
that's why we love "munchies"
I have to go eat here.... probably the closest thing to hmong food nyc has to offer. when it comes to papaya salad, curry noodles, and sticky rice!
