Hey Michael, here's one to add to your Prime Day list: Philips Hue Smart Slim 6 Inch LED Downlight - White and Color Ambiance Color-Changing Light - 1 Pack - 1200LM - Indoor - Control with Hue App - Works with Alexa Google Assistant and Apple Homekit. It's regularly $69.99 and is currently $44.99 ~and~ there's a $9.00 off coupon on the product page too! The coupon can only be used once but $44.99 is still an awesome deal! I picked up 4 of them. Unfortunately, UA-cam won't allow me to post a URL.
Added to the tracker, thanks! I've been wanting to replace our existing recessed lights with these for a long-time, but it will require me to make the existing holes larger, and have been putting that off.
@@michaelsleenPhilips also offers a retrofit down light. That might be a better option for you to consider, as you can insert them in your existing can/ down lights. They offer them in both 4 and 6 in. I've never seen the slim down lights this low before! I don't want to spend the extra money right now, but I'm tempted to go ahead and order an additional 4 of them for a future kitchen upgrade.
Before you buy a Utech lock I would suggest looking at the battery consumption reviews. I have 2 of these locks and earlier this year a firmware update has caused them to eat through batteries. I've been needing to replace them every 3 weeks.
I just got off the phone with U-Tech This is what they said about their locks" "The locks motor gets worn out which causes more strain on the battery." "Like a phone, you should expect your lock to be replaced every 3 years"... Because, you know... the motor in your phone starts consuming the AA batteries you put in every 2 weeks to keep its charge... oh. my. god. LOL

The retrofit is for those with existing can lights. I have thin LED downlights, not can.
@@michaelsleenah, okay. Makes sense. That project would make for a great video for your channel!

Damn, screw that and I bet they are slow with an update
Thanks for sharing that experience. Was that on a WiFi or Z-Wave lock?
@@michaelsleen One wifi (wifi is turned off because I thought that was the issue - it's not :( ) and one bluetooth.

That’s disappointing. I’ve been using a Yale Assure SL smart lock for four years on the most used door on our home. Works well.
