After 4 yeara I can confirm it goes something like this: Victoria: Vic...Victor...where are you? Victor:Right here....beside you Victoria:I just wanted to say...I really hated you Victoria: I feel constant pain and you wouldnt let me die...now I can finally die Victor: No...I cannot let you go...even now my soul will follow you Victoria: Fine then...I guess there is no getting rid of you Victor: Than you Victoria...Sweet Victoria
@@cinnamonpanda6040 thank you for this, I know this is a year late but you don't understand how much I appreciate this lol. Thank you again! no one would probably see this but im just putting it out there. Anyways im really excited for bravely default.. II....
6 years late to the convo but I wonder if Victor was using mind control of some sort to keep her around him. If someone was forcing me to stay alive despite being in constant excruciating pain just out of some weird little sister complex I'd wanna kill him out of rage. Maybe that's why she's so screwed in the head lol
I think she stayed because Eternia and the Council of Six is the only place she could call home. She didn’t know anybody else, nor did anyone else love her like Victor did. Even if she hated Victor, and even though she was kinda screwed in the head, I doubt she would have wanted to torture a friend like that.
(possible spoilers) 13:45 The best death monologue in this game... In my opinion, at least... You just can't help but feel bad for him. Victoria was like a child to him, his sole purpose had became the desire to keep her alive, and our merry band of four just took that away from him... If he had survived this battle, I'm pretty sure he would've jumped off of central command within a day after this battle, or killed himself some other way, just so he could remain by Victoria's side, taking care of her, even in the afterlife. On another note, the arcanist uniform for Tiz and Ringabel reminds me of a certain Shikigami for some reason...
In the second face off with them both he says "My life's work gone. I have no reason to live anymore…AND I'LL BRING YOU ALL WITH ME!!" So he probably would just kill himself after.
Ughh this whole deal got to me a little. Not as much on Victoria's side, since she is a little brat who killed Olivia. But I really felt bad for Victor. That scream he does when she dies is one of the most heartbreaking I've ever heard, good god. ;__________; Major props to his voice actor. Then afterward I was like "...but I don't wanna use their jobs! That's like mocking them." :(
The terrified Victor when Victoria falls... how shrilling and horrific that howl was. Just another one of those loves i have for this game: the voice acting is fantastic, for me at least. I know some people are entitled to their own opinions but the voice acting in this game is spot on for me.
This fight has so far been my favorite. It's tough if you don't find ways to shut down Victoria. Halfway through my second attempt I remembered I had Reflect on my White Mage so I just cast it on everybody and let them kill each other with Dark and Holy.
...I tell you, finally striking that tiny red freak down was one of my most gratifying achievements. Victoria went half of the game taunting you while killing others all the way; and her unapologetic final last words made her defeat feel hollow. Forget Victor-at least he had redeeming qualities (at that point in the game). Call me unforgiving, but Victoria got what she deserved...and if it were me, I probably would have done much worse.
come on, man. it's not her fault she has an incurable disease (which apparently doesn't have a name) that indirectly orphaned her. it's also not her fault that *SPOILERS* victor's dad, vincent, tried to use a very controversial method of treating her which is why she has those fits and why she killed him. the chronic pain caused her emotions to spiral out of control
@@227someguy you are putting it midly, in the third reset, it is revealed that the treatment actually transtorns your brain, which explains Victoria's sadism and unreasonable behavior.
Oh terrific, if it isn't Victor and his personal little jester again. I don't care how tragic her backstory is, her actions can't be excused. It's easy to see that without Victoria, the good doctor really isn't much on his own, both in battle...and out. At least you get two new jobs out of it, and much like Victor & Victoria, they're complete opposites of each other in their respective fields. The arcanist does dress kind of funny (a fox tail, really?) while the spiritmaster makes you look like a doctor, interestingly enough.
Victor seems to have this demonic screech when he yells, "VICTORIA!" Kind of shows his calm demeanor is gone. Am I the only one who notices he seems to move faster when she dies?
I once poisoned Victor. And then used Victoria's attack that hits everyone who got poisoned against him. I even decided to cast Reflect on Victoria so that whenever Victor healed her it randomly healed one of my own team members.
Another easy way to get past Death is to just have Haste World. She skips that move entirely and all she does is spam Dark while Victor only uses buffs. Meanwhile, I had the Kairai + Dual Shield Knight combo on Tiz, letting him tank everything while everyone else on the team had free reign on damage.
You know, Victoria probably wouldn't have been the way she was if it wasn't for the crystal orthodoxy and Victor's father. Both were the reason why she was the little bastard she was.
Gameplay reasons: the players are standardized in terms of weapon-wielding, so no fancy stuff. Plot reasons: each of the 'jobs' we get belonged to someone who had way more experience with them than the players. Even if we can 'master' jobs in a gameplay sense, the people we get them from had them for much longer. They were also unique characters, so perhaps their power simply works in unique ways to reflect upon their experience.
My theory is that an asterisk forms when someone spends years mastering a job. Once one defeats said asterisk holder, taking the asterisk allows a person to gain some of that experience, although the original holder had far above what we are able to gain ingame
@@fgvcosmic6752 Actually it's officially said in-game that Sage Yulyana created ALL the asterisks, so it really is all about experience rather than being the original owner or not. All the BV heroes stay with the asterisks for less than a year, while all the holders had them for years, all of them being seasoned warriors, mages, whatever they are.

On my third fight with them, I actually stole his Yggdrasil staff AND the poison rod from Victoria, with one "Shake Down". That was really lucky. Heh....... My second fight I must've used steal, like... six times on him before he gave me the bloody thing...
I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure that after seeing Victoria die, he lost every last trace of sanity, and just collapsed into madness. That's my theory, anyway.
+akzester I'm pretty sure that, given due time, Victor would have found a way to restore Victoria to her true form. Victoria may look like a child but from what I remember, she could very well be the same age as Victor, maybe older or slightly younger, it really doesn't specify her chronological age, just that she cant age
