....Okay, I think it's pretty safe to say that Mephilia is one of the creepiest sub-quest bosses in the game. I mean my god, the voice actress; just the way she practically orgasms with every word she says just adds a nice little layer of horrifying.

That Archer is officially the worst thing about this boss. I found that Mephilia has a pattern and the Archer just ruins everything. So OP... Got to be the 3-13. No other explanation.

A Failed Mercenary nah, that ain’t the 3-13, the 3-13 would be a bravely second boss stronger than the super boss that can go through phys reflect shields (why does thing thing exist?!)

I love this boss, its very creepy and inhumane, but it makes her a better character than the others instead of being soft, she wants to see every part of you ripped off of you...

You know what's funny? For me, that stupid archer was more dificult than Mephilia. Almost got defeated once i defeated Mephi. She kept doing 600 damage, killing every character that I revived. Almost 30 phoenix feathers wasted because of her.

I know the feeling, first time I did this fight I wasn't aware of the confuse crap on that archer and she managed to confuse every party member and they killed themselves. Fuck that archer :v

I just love all the Tales names you gave the finishers, either taking the voice actor into regard (tomodachi~, haha nice XD) or the animation. ;D
I find it odd that summoners have average skill with staves when staves and rods aren't really that far apart in terms of what they are. Have to say the ending to this quest was dark. Usually we end up saving foolhardy villagers from such a fate. This game definitely isn't holding back.

Is summoning a good offensive Magic in this game? In the DS version of FF3 I found that having a Summoner instead of a Black Mage was perfectly doable.
