that was my attitude going into this boss... I beat it after eight tries and took me four hours to beat it in that try... and I probably will never be able to again...
I feel u. I totally give up beating the game that's why I'm here watching the ending. I just finished bravely second and I'm surprised that this whole game was nothing like bravely default. Boss fights were too easy, the final boss can't even make a scratch on my characters and literally all boss fights only took few minutes to beat
As I understood it, it wasn't Til's soul Tiz had, or anyone from Norende... it was the player. The "Celestial Being" he had was YOU. During the final fight, when Ouroboros says "Behold, the Celestial Realm!" the 3DS camera is supposed to activate and shows the player's face in the "hole" in the background (because you are looking in on the fight, not sure why it doesn't in the video), dropping a heavy hint that the "Celestial Realm" is OUR world - Ouroboros was trying to invade Earth!
The moment when ouroboros made a tear into the "celestial realm" and I realized wait... is that me?? That had been the most creative ways I've ever seen devs incorporate the 3DS features.
39:15 in that part of the battle, the "hole" between the clouds in the background actually represents the Celestial Realm. When you play, even if you don't see it there, you can actually see your face as the camera from the 3DS is filming it. Thats probably means you're supposed to be the god in the Celestial Realm who's supposed to watch the fight with his giant eyes =)
This was trully wonderful, this really got into me, i really loved this game since the beggining, and felt the paint of all those universes dying on battle, and finally at the end i manage to se myself in the game, watching the battle, inmerse into their universe. I was so freaked out, it blew my mind totally, even more that the battle of Psycho Mantis from MetalGearSolid, this was honestly one of the most wonderful masterpieces I had the oportunity to enjoy in life. I think no human would ever understand this chills, this feelings until they had passed the game! I always try to describe this magnificent and climatic moment to everyone who is a gamer, but until today, i cant find the words to describe how perfect this game was. I have been playing RPG and MMORPGm games since I was 5 years old, and honestly this is one of the most epics adventures i had been on. Anyone who has the love for RPGs, I tell you guys its a true blasphemy if you let your chances to play this jewel. Give it a try. You will remember this until you are old. I asure it.
The first time I fought this boss, I felt a chill as those worlds were easily destroyed and consumed as if they're mere snacks. Millions of people, dead in a matter of a few seconds, cause a higher being decided to eat your world. It actually makes the boss feel like a threat compared to other JRPG bosses, as the boss SHOWS you what he can and will do instead of expositions of what he will do. Then the "Celestial Realm" showing up in the background is just something else. It made all the annoying world resets worth it.
The best part! I had a few gamer friends play this with me and we all linked our games. I was way caught off guard when the game showed me "their worlds" being consumed.
Seeing the animation for the Minus Strike with knuckles instead of a sword made me realize... You just bitch-slapped two Eldritch Abominations to death!
I like that the worlds he destroys and that rebel against him can be the street passes or friends worlds. Really fun having game mechanics be actual in universe things.
I'm probably really slow in realizing this, but now the opening using AR and Agnès makes a lot of sense in the "Celestial Realm is our world" light. That Agnès, one of, if not the first one that Airy deceives, is actually the angel that appears to hundreds upon thousands of Yulanas and Lord DeRossos across the multiverse. She pleads to the Celestial Realm, i.e. the real world, to stop what she has unknowingly started. The one to see it is a Celstial: You. That wish is granted, setting into motion Ouroboros's ultimate demise. Gods, I find that fridge brilliance just incredible. Never mind that Airy's sister is indeed asking YOU, a celestial, to stay until the very end. It's also your fault that Tiz is unconscious will not awaken until at least a few years. Way to make me feel terrible about finishing a game after watching one of the best endings I've seen in a long time. :P
That little revelation in Bravely Second is just asbrilliant. Airy's sister never asks you to save the world. She thanks you for stopping her sister. Anne made you think she recruited your help in saving Luxendarc, but she used you to help her own dark god defeat a rival!
18:04 - Fun fact! The area where Oroborus is fought (a cliff face in a strange alternate dimension) is a recreation of the battle background where Chaos is fought in all the remakes of Final Fantasy 1! A small little easter egg.
The final boss music of this game is so wonderful! The whole final battle was amazing... finding out that every reset was a different world, and then working together with all these different versions of yourselves to defeat this seemingly invincible otherworldly being! I absolutely love this game.
I actually liked Ouroboros as a villain. You dont know much about him as a character. But his characterisation is fantastic. He runs a gauntlet of personality facets in his short screentime. This ending and special movie messed with my head pretty hard. Beat the game last night at around 4am. Especially the "Oh yeah, I'll catch up!" part. Pardon me while I go die real quick. Also kind of dark how Edea and Agneas just kind kind of walk right on by, none the wiser.

Besides that, you were the one who received Agnes' message via the AR video at the very start, and the first thing you do is wake up as Tiz.
This fight gave me an absurd number of headaches until I realized you could use Bravely Second in this game. That final phase where he spams Disaster is extreme nonsense without having a free turn to set up Stillness and Curadas. What I'm saying is I'm amazed you did this without Bravely Second AND on hard mode. can I call you "Senpai?"
Just use Giant's breath with Salve-Maker on your whole party, you'll be able to HP tank Disaster with no problem. Though, I did this on normal mode with a lvl. 99 party, so it might not work as well on hard.
Yep, definite fav the second you decided to wait with Braving until the song hit it's peak versus Ouroboros, and then going in rhythm with the music afterwards. Gold.
Ouroboros' fight reminds me of Kefka and Doom Dragon in terms that it is a very long fight divided between many phases, each one being harder than the last one. And the thing that parts of the final boss theme become unlocked as the fight progresses remind me a lot of Dancing Mad and Darkness of the Unknown.
Yea I think they were just implying that whatever celestial being was inside Tiz decided to return home, but forgot to show Tiz waking up. Out of curiosity, I wonder if that celestial being was just a passive observer or if he/she was the one in control of Tiz throughout the entire story. It would be awkward if Tiz woke up at the end with no memory of what happened
so many shock factors as i've read celestial is u helping tiz once your done he dies? using a gameplay mechanic of streetpass is actually key to the entire game victory being able to go to any world to live as your home, i'd stay with olivia poor lord derosso despite that going in circle to get the true ending, i enjoyed it all especially the sidequests that fleshed out the characters
Thanks for uploading this. I couldn't bear to play through the same content over and over while the game pretty much called me stupid to get this ending.
Anyone else feel bad for Airy? Yeah, she was cruel, manipulated and killed several alternate versions of the group, and tried to revive her master to devour all of reality. But she served him so faithfully and did quite well and she was rewarded by being devoured and the sounds made don't help much.
Hell. No. If you're going to serve evil you better know what you're getting involved with. In this case she didn't ask what the reward was thus was treated as food.
Man, seeing the way you handled the final boss Omega makes me wonder on all of the various ways you can slay the final boss from all the jobs, items, weapons and abilites, cause I didn't use stillness at all! I used Tiz/Templar+Knight, Agnes/Arcanist+Black Mage, Ringabel/Spiritmaster+White Mage and for Edea/Swordmaster+don't really remember what ability set was used with the job.
Those crunchy noises when Airy disappeared...at the time I thought it was the flame just crepitating but nope, after hearing it again it was Ouroboros eating Airy alive. That was eerie to hear.
Wow I never actually beat the true ending for this game. I got to the point in the game where Ringabell told me to destroy the crystal so I kept on going and destroyed it. No wonder what they were talking about in Bravley Second didn't sound right to me.
Tony Kong I didn't know about the false ending until after beating the game. Just because Ringabel mentioned it didn't make me think that it was actually possible.
Thanks for the video... so I broke a crystal in Ch 6 then Googled & realised I can no longer get the True Ending w/o starting anew (geez) cuz the game auto-saved after Airy left This is how I'm gonna get the True Ending now xD

99 party, so it might not work as well on hard.
it's interesting to see despite the fact he sees you and all the worlds as food to be eaten he still respects your strength
Yep, definite fav the second you decided to wait with Braving until the song hit it's peak versus Ouroboros, and then going in rhythm with the music afterwards. Gold.
Unscathed bonus from the final boss. I'm Dying XDD
Best rpg ive played in a long while!
53:56 OMG! That's Izzy's voice! From Digimon! Omg! The nastalgia!
*sees Oruborous' final form*
Jesus

Christ
Who else got goosebumps when Anges made that blast with her necklace?
Airy: I am invincible!
The party: Bitch please, you haven't even given us a scratch.
The Final boss voice sound like he went thru puberty like the skit on Tim & Eric show lol
Darn it I can't tell if he is alive or not at that ending. On other note I'm glad Ringabel manage to change the fate of his friends.
Jeez, way to have a Chaos-esque final battle.
That battle theme before the final boss is...haunting; I like it :)
Self restoring abilities are really worth getting in the end.
o_o
......sister....
Then...who are you....the one I made the promise to?
Definitely gonna play this when it comes out.
Sister's Plans so she was Anne all along!?
You Know what would have been cool? If all your friends would come down summon style and help you out. So who's up for a game of Luxendarc Roulette?
I loved this game. Took me exactly 82 hours. I did wish Edea and Ringabel got together, though ;).
I loved it when i saw that the background for the final stage of this boss, I saw myself. Epic game.
Airy: I'm invincible!!!!
King Arthur: ...you're a looney....
Tis but a flesh wound
I like how you waited for the music to really start before making move. :)
So, this is as close as we are ever going to fight a Great Old One...
Awesome ! **v**
so many shock factors as i've read
celestial is u helping tiz once your done he dies?
using a gameplay mechanic of streetpass is actually key to the entire game victory
being able to go to any world to live as your home, i'd stay with olivia
poor lord derosso
despite that going in circle to get the true ending, i enjoyed it all especially the sidequests that fleshed out the characters
gbdeck200 actually you dont need streetpass. I didn't use streetpass and when I got to that world it just said "someones world" or was a bot.
Ringabel's true ending is cool, he saves edea and redeems himself
hits you right in the feels
Best 3DS Game.
Totally agree! :)
Probably. It's incredible.
But she served him so faithfully and did quite well and she was rewarded by being devoured and the sounds made don't help much.
true
Hell. No. If you're going to serve evil you better know what you're getting involved with. In this case she didn't ask what the reward was thus was treated as food.
not really. I hate her right from the start and suspicious about her. She's annoying as well and good for her that she died. Two-faced bitch
The crunchy noises you hear after her defeat were her reward for being useful. Yeap, she was devoured alive.
That was eerie to hear.

dafuq was the time bowser came O.o
you know shits going down when 18:17 hits.
wait so Tiz was only alive cause of something he borrowed?
Throws water at him SPLASH SPLASH SPLASH SPLASH why is his weakness water anyways?
Hell fire?
@@dualblade14 Oui
Darn it, this was a game I was hyped for and I missed at it's release date, and after seeing this, I pretty much HAVE to get it!
Wow I never actually beat the true ending for this game. I got to the point in the game where Ringabell told me to destroy the crystal so I kept on going and destroyed it. No wonder what they were talking about in Bravley Second didn't sound right to me.
Tony Kong
I didn't know about the false ending until after beating the game. Just because Ringabel mentioned it didn't make me think that it was actually possible.
Airy got the true meaning of "Dangerous Dinner" at her defeat...yuck!
Fwoh. Ending the fight with the bare-handed special. Taking him out with style.
Omega, how DO you do it?!
I like how there's that one tall guy
I love this game. One of my first 3DS games.
was Tiz's life borrowed or something like he was supposed to die in the crater but got saved when by the celestial within and was on "borrowed" life
We are the celestial. The player is the celestial, and we save them by playing the game
Thanks for the video... so I broke a crystal in Ch 6 then Googled & realised I can no longer get the True Ending w/o starting anew (geez) cuz the game auto-saved after Airy left
This is how I'm gonna get the True Ending now xD
O just realised the game let's you return to before the crystal's broken
SISTER?
The hell is going on?
Yup airy had a twin sister that is less evil less hideous and helped tiz alive
@@joannebecker5857 ahahaa..hha
@Eggplant • I see someone else knows the truth lol.
The pink thing that leaves Tiz is Airy's sister of you watch when the cut scene pops up when she leave it's a pinkish red blur
