I can’t lie, this is hands down the best channel strip plug in I’ve heard/used for that “SSL Sound”. UAD, Waves and Brainworx are cool, but this one hits differently. Great job for releasing this 🫡
Many years we were waiting for this and now it is finally arrived! It will be interesting to test it and compare it with SSL 9000 and 4K B, as well as understand how well the emulation was done 😎 It would be great to have a better price, as the minimum for short period of the time, because your Black Friday offer doesnt really help if I want to buy a single plugin

Thanks for the promo which you have realized for every UF1, UC1 and UF8 user. I have all 3 devices and I love this Channelstrip in addition to the others. So I just can say once again you have done a great work.
Would be nice if you guys priced this to be a bit more affordable. Other than that, this is quite nice.
Not free with UC1, price is 2 to 3 times higher than the concurrency. SSL's Business strategy is really bizarre. We know that you push for SSL Complete Subscription, but don't forget that professionnals (one of your targets) prefers to buy directly the plugins with lifetime licences in order to avoid any recurrent fixed costs impact on their business. Today we have global inflation, non-professionnals tend to have the same approach. Branding does not justify everything.
Best way to describe it, it's just a different flavor of sound. Just like the channel strip 2. The Eq curves are different

Whats the difference between the 'SSL 4K E' and the 'SSL 4K B' if you dont mind me asking?

I own the E-Series and B-Series Dynamic modules 500 series and the B-Series has more aggressive edge to it.
B has more “vintage mojo”, E is more full to my ears.
4K B has more warm, fat and dirty sound because of lots of harmonics and there is a deesser option in compression section. It's capricious enough channel Strip, you need to be able to set it up

It should be free for those who purchased the UC1 or a minor fee. For $329 I am a hard pass. Come on SSL do not become the new Avid and Waves as you are better than that.
