In addition to selling peptides, I also work for a lab that does intracellular micronutrient deficiency testing. I always recommend your podcast to the doctors of course. I also suggest the micronutrient panel, along with strength training and adequate protein. ❤

I totally agree with exercising and helping you eat and eat healthy food. I start my day walking, I stand to work all day at my computer and make time to step away and walk, I walk on my break and I walk after dinner. I just stay active. It makes such a difference. I'm 45 and run circles around my 20 something year old co workers. It's really sad. I also do strength training. I've been taking semaglutide since May and it's really just helped me avoid cravings for bad food. It has killed my appetite but I make sure to eat high quality food.

I have been on semiglutide for about three months, losing fat slowly with no muscle loss. It’s slow but I am ok with that. I am doing lots of strength training. Thanks for the discussion of hydration, I definitely have trouble getting enough water in because I fill up so fast. I do add a hydration stick, that helps.

How do you know that you're not losing muscle? How do you measure that?

1:53 “I saw physicians in there who looked healthy and strong…” yes how true is that. I never see that when I need to go to my regular docs. Thank you for all this I am loving peptides while doing all the other things 😊

I just ordered mine. I do all the things and can’t get my bp down or lose belly fat. I have 20 lbs I want to lose too. I love lifting heavy and love walking. I pray these help my metabolism.

Dr. Tyna, ive been binge watching your videos on semaglutide and am in love with your knowledge for it!! Im a type 1 diabetic and have done some research on using glp-1,s as a type 1. I was denied ozempic due to not being type 2. I’m currently working with my doc to get wegovy approved for weight loss . What’s your take on type1’s and semaglutide ? I think it would make a world of difference for me but, obviously, the FDA and insurance companies don’t agree. I would love if you did a video on this topic !! Thanks again for all of your knowledge !

I recently took my first shot of Semiglutide (.25) . I have increased my water intake (65 oz.) I have increased my protein intake. I currently attend 3 to 4 classes a week of hot yoga, some classes include weights. My question is does yoga count for weight or resistance training?

Your surgeon and anesthesiologist need to know you are on it, I’ve read concerns with the slowing of the stomach digestion can cause some issues for anesthesia. Not a medical person here, just saw this concern highlighted by several sources.

I watched the episode Dr Tyna did with Diary of a CEO podcast where she talked about microdosing Ozempic. In the comments section someone stated that they use the oral form called Rybelsus which by nature would be a lower dose because your gastric juices break it down. Any feedback from anyone doing this? I'm looking for about a 10-15 pound weight loss, 44 yr old female, struggle with weight around the middle, walk everyday for about 40 min, getting into weights and rebounding.

Any thoughts on what can cause someone on Semaglutide and eating a high protein, low carb diet of no more than 1300 calories a day to not lose weight or only lose very slowly?

Your calories are too low! Up your calories and drink loads of water/fluids /electrolytes. The lower the calories the slow your metabolism! Also sleep is crucial!

Hi dr Tyna, I hear doctors say that fat cells multiply when gaining weight, but that they don’t reduce at all when loosing weight. What is your take on this? Are there longitudinal studies on this?
This information makes me feel so hopeless, and I hope it’s not true 💛
