With a mirror farther away from your helmet the field of view is less, therefore you see less behind you. So why do the modification? I could see if you left the old mirrors in place and used the new mirrors to see directly in your blind spot. That would be helpful. If not it’s simply ascetic.
Like many many modifications this one sacrifices a little functionality for the sake of improved aesthetics. But if I ever see a goob with BOTH sets of mirrors on their bike I’ll know it’s you
I am also interested in those mirrors, but can you help me with my concern ? I want to remove the handguards, can this setup work without the handguards ? I am appreciate your time. thanks
Unpopular choice on my part, but I went back to the stock mirrors on my R nineT, after a couple years of bar end mirrors. I offroad too much, I was gonna break the bar end mirrors one day or another! Haha
I watched your video about a month ago and installed the mirrors. On installation i torqued down everything like you said. I finally got out to ride my bike this morning and I found that the mirrors would not stay in position at highway speeds. They would rotate on the bandlebars. Did you have this problem? If so how did you fix it? Thanks in advance .
I didn’t have any rotation issues on the highway. Make sure the set screw is torqued 12-14Nm on the Rizoma arm, if that’s loose it will rotate. Also, the large handle bar bolt has a required torque setting. My dealer provided me that torque setting at the time but I forgot to include it in this video. My guess is that handlebar bolt is not torqued enough which is causing the mirrors to to rotate at speed. I can follow up here if I can get that information for you before you do.
@@sidestand ok that would be helpfull. Id you could follow up because I don't hv the torque spec for the handlebar bolt. Maybe it's not tight enough. That certainly could be the problem. Lol
My man again delivering the best install videos🔥👍🏼. Getting my Rizomas through your link brother to help the cause.
Thanks man! Much appreciated.
Thanks for the video. I found him on IG about a month ago. Was thinking about switching over to bar end mirrors. Looks nice.
I just went back to an upload you did a couple of months back.
You didn't speak.
It was just you the R Nine T and the canyon. HARMONY
Have you got any wheelie videos? I can’t seem to find the sweet spot to lift it up yet. Love the mirrors. On my mod list!!!
Rizoma makes super high quality products. The bar end mirrors on my Racer are Rizoma. Great choice!! They look sick on the XR!
Yeah, Rizoma is top notch 👌
I got them as well, brilliant and definitely the best - like those mirrors on my S1000XR 2022
Nice!
May I ask the model number of the bar end mounting adapter?
Thank you..

What diameter is the mounting adapter? I'm wondering if my Highsider Victory Evo mirrors would fit the adapter..
They are. I have the same!
im wondering if you can use the weighted OEM bar end instead of that Rizoma inside the handlebar

He hasn't answer you back :)
Are you still riding with the Rizoma mirrors? Is the vibration still at minimum?

All good! Better off putting the stock ones back on with what you do haha
@@sidestand Totally! I also put the stock taillight assembly back on. 😅
Doesn't look as sharp, but is definitely more functional for what I do.
Do you know if these would work in conjunction with Evo tech hand guards covers?!
Very helpful video, liked and subscribed!
yes they look great so great, anything besides the bunny ears stock of mirrors. next part is the exhausts ✌
Yup!

Would these fit with the evotech bar ends i have on my gen 2 xr?
I've been looking at getting Rizoma mirrors on my bike, too. They're so pricey though.
It’s worth it!
Where did you get your sport smoked windscreen? Is it a BMW OEM replacement for the clear windscreen?
Yes it’s BMW OEM part number 77318392786 from: bmw.europe-moto.com/gb/
@@sidestand Thank you! I just ordered one. The tinted shield looks better than the clear
looking good!
Thanks! Diggin it
You a Filipino bro?
Lane splitting is not the same as passing on the right, fyi. Motorcyclists already get a bad rap here in so cal.
🙋♂️🙋♂️👌👌👍👍🚀🚀💖💖😉
Hipster mirrors on a dad bike. Pick a side man🤣
😂 Neutral! Those mirrors remind me of my 9t
Para mí personalmente no van con el estilo de esa moto.
Looks nice. But vibs.. Noooooo
It’s not too bad, I honestly forgot about it.
