I run an Etsy shop and try to make it as Eco-friendly as possible. It has taken lots of trial and error and research to find my favourite sustainable packaging, (biodegradable sleeves, recyclable boxes, paper tape etc.) and I wanted to share it with you today to make it a quick and easy process for you!
It's an exciting thing to be the boss of your own business as it allows you to make decisions that have a positive impact on the planet!

Great video, I am currently searching for eco friendly packaging and stationary, your tips and recommendations are a huge help. I now have a number of suppliers mentioned by a few sellers as selling eco friendly and sustainable products so will be trawling their websites. Many thanks xx

Printed.com used to offer vegetable based inks too a few years back so might be worth asking if they still do that. Combined with their 100% recycled uncoated card, I loved having such eco friendly packaging.
I've never had so much fun learning about packaging.

Love this, thank you for the recommendations! Do you have any alternatives to bubble wrap? I sell a few things that I wrap up to avoid getting damaged in their boxes, I get through so much bubble wrap it makes me sad!
Look up "wood wool", it's shredded waste wood like you get in fancy hampers ;)

Love this video & really appreciate you sharing these resources. Just wanted to call out that you may want to look into Stickermule's political affiliations - as I've stopped using them because of that. A few folks have also raised some issued with NoIssue as well.

Hello! ☺️ I've always hand written the packages but during lockdown I'm using labels as it means I don't have to go to the post office. I'd rather not have to use them though :( I did some research and it said that If a paper label is stuck onto a cardboard package then it is 'typically deemed to be recyclable.' I need to look into it some more! x

Thank you for this! I mostly draw wildlife and bird art, and am researching printing and packaging to cut down on the plastics and faff. It kind of seems counterintuitive to send a nice blue tit or toucan print wrapped in the stuff that's killing them off, you know? As well as for it to look cute at the same time, as you know. We gots to be cute!

I had no idea about the non plastic tape and think it is really cute. So I really want to get some, especially if I can print my own pattern on it. However, when I looked into Stickermule for stickers a while back I saw that they donate to some shitty pretty people. I don't want to support them, so I am going to try and find an alternative source. I am really glad to know that this product exists, I use so much tape on my packages and feel bad about it.
Heeey, yeah I heard this too. I’m going to make an updated video at some point with more suggestions. At the moment I get my tape from Rapanui and it’s really good! Doesn’t have my own design on it but it has a cool pattern on it already and the company is super eco friendly 😊

Super interested in the 10x10 boxes, would you have to write the address on the box or print out a label?
Sorry for the super late reply, you probably have the answer now! With the 10x10, they're a bit too small to fit the genetic postal labels on x
Does someone know of stores like this in Germany? I checked some of the websites here and since they're UK-based, the shipping is more expensive and it also has a bigger CO2 footprint. I'd appreciate your recommendations (I haven't quite find it on Google)

I dont know if u know this but sadly stickermule is funding trump campaigns and are generally super shady :/ wouldnt reccomend buying from them!!
