  • Today I'm going to show you a very simple technique to achieve a more dynamic and beautiful watercolor painting. While backruns can be difficult to control and avoid in watercolor, sometimes the easiest answer is to simply embrace them. They can lead you into some glorious surprises!

    I choose watercolor because I adore blooms, broccoli, cauliflower, runs, granulation, flocculation, basically tiny, endless texture!!! That's what makes watercolor paintings interesting to me, and what draws me into them.
