In my book, they addressed the friendly fire situation in the worst way possible. All they removed was the fun applications of it, but people can still get knocked on their asses by heavy attacks.
Yeah that immediately got my attention. In MHW one of my favorite things to do with my buddies is launch them up with the hammer to get mount damage when there is nothing to jump off of. 😢
I don't know how you guys feel about it but I only have bad experiences getting tripped up by others I haven't had a single time when friendly fire was fun or helped during the fight.
@@eldeuls1237 Nah, you probably overheard that because a bunch of people wish that's what capcom had done about it. They only reduced the impact of friendly fire, and they added the shockproof decoration that should fully prevent it.
Excited to see Capcom listening to the player feedback. I can't wait to get back into the Forbidden Lands! The trip/knockdown isn't nearly as fun as launching my hunting partner into the air for a mount but whatever. Shockproof is the skill you want to avoid that, I'll put it into every build. The hype is unbelievable at this point! I've gotten another person back into playing World with me, getting in that practice before Wilds launches (and making sure he gets the save data bonus since he never played on PS5 before). Been having a blast!
They’ve shown how easy it is to listen to player feedback, like GGG with Path of Exile 2, just gotta take it into consideration! So much hype, it’s just around the corner now!
Of course bouncing on monsters for insect glaive weapon! is a must have. Is the Skylord main moves, air dashing and bouncing, goes perfectly well together. Is good that they bring it back and listen to players! Tho i wish they make new ultimate attack for all weapons. It only active when you died or killed few monsters to get rage meter bar full. That way players doesn't spam ultimate attack too often. For insect glaive ultimate attack one. You called tripple illusions clones of yourself to dashing forward and drilling monster in 3 different direction. Then second ultimate attack you summon meteors rocks and the third you extended your pole at 20ft high and then smack monsters at long distance. Plus many more ultimate special attack unlocked, through story progress. You can equipped up 4 slots total.😊
@@LightItUpDanYeah, it was around 54mins I believe. They’re making HH buffs have stronger effects on the HH player and weaker effects on the team. Also, if you swap to HH and play songs, then swap back to your other weapon, the buffs won’t last as long.
It was fun being launched but I joined hunts with players not as good at the game accidentally knocking me up as I was about to do sacred sheath or helmbreaker
I firmly believe that changing the charged kinsect launch to RT+LT, so the thumbs remain free to aim and move, would be a nice quality of life. The controllers were not meant to be used with a "Claw Grip", inhumane. Same goes for the charged B atk that could be a Y+B press. This is an unnecessary ordeal keyboard+mouse players wont be going through and still be "rewarded" ?
Yeah I still don't get their whole idea of keeping a control scheme designed for someone with two right thumbs is supposed to be a skill to master. I know I'm not interested in ruining my right hand by trying to use all my abilities over hundreds of hours. Honestly I feel like they haven't realized this could really strain players hands that heavily main (or only use) the IG. I feel like there will be a decent chunk of players who will chose to barely use some of this stuff because it'll just ruin the experience and possibly even injure themselves.
I just want them to leave the greatsword exactly as it is in Mhw in terms of damage and that it still involves sacrificing your mobility to deliver the strongest hits of all the weapons by far.
@@jackcollins5394 I get that, but after seeing all the videos around performance and the technology involved you seriously think Wilds is going to run at an acceptable level on the Steamdeck? Like, come on dude… The Deck is a great piece of tech and I do own one, but even World is a struggle to run on it.
@@jackcollins5394 maybe consider a series s. But i think it will work on the stream deck, especially with the help of the performance mods from the community. I mean it already had 15-20 fps wont be surprised they can get it to 30

@RandomViewer103 That's unfortunate. I don't play with randoms so I have good communication with my buddies and we use the upswing to our advantage.
I think you can change it in the settings

"For those of you who enjoy bringing zero value to the hunt..."
As an IG main, I bring style to all hunts!
bobbing up and down a couple yards in the air like it's flappy bird isnt very stylish from an outside perspective
Why he has to be mean to dual blades main like that?
haha truuuue
Oh they added air glave back, I’m definitely getting the game now

you were always getting it anyway lol

Capcom shows they know how to listen and work with feedback. I have really high hopes for this one.
Capcom and Grinding Gear Games showing the rest of the studios how it's done
Good job the community spoke up !!!
for sure!
Great to hear my wings will be unclipped umu
be free!
I’m so glad they gave glaive an offset! It not having one before made it feel like glaive was missing out on a major mechanic.
I'm so glad aerial IG is back: my whole purpose was to break difficult parts and dive down occasionally.
wooo woop

The hunting horn buff and nerf was unexpected but I am so happy they did it because I wanted it for so long.
I’ll have to look into that one, did they discuss it during the stream?

Yeah it should have been Y+B and charging by success hitting a combo on monster
definitely some funky inputs going on
I can’t wait to play wilds again. Gonna take up so much of my time.
I honestly want hammer launch back, because it is beneficial for mounting and is just a fun feature.
yeah I get both sides
I’m pretty sure they said in the beta that animals were going to move faster than on release to demonstrate the feature better
oh did they? that’s cool

So they got rid of the fun aspects of friendly fire and left just the annoying parts…thats hilarious
I hear you, shockproof gets rid of all of it though
All builds now have Shockproof in them be default now.
