Bill Hader’s impression embodies all the Walkenisms perfectly. All the gestures and body language, as well as the accent; just brilliant
It's was a bad impression though. They're all really bad impressions.
@@noneyabidniss4763 Hader did Walken better than Walken did Walken. Walken was a parody of himself.
Kristen Wiig's, "Hilarious" was so spot on
not really
theyre all terrible, but sudeikis is especially talentless
1:45 Amy Poehler's "They're SPOOOky!" floors me EVERY time.
She was the best imo
spooky behaviour puts it over the top!
I don't respond well to spooky behavior.
I thought she was the overall best. Hader does great impersonations, I felt his was a little off on this. Maybe he's set the bahaurrr too ....much
Think she had the best walken impression of any of them
Christopher was a good sport for doing this.
Good sport? "It was a compliment to his unique speaking style, ya know"
I like the fact that Amy Poehler’s doll has a Walken hairdo 😂😂😂
I like the fact that Amy!
LMAO
Neither of them are crazy about “spooky behavior”
ikr?!
As did the entire Walken family.
“We finally saw The Deer Hunter. That movie was hilarious.” Gets me every time 🤣🤣🤣
I read this, missed the quotes and looked up this “funny” movie lol
Deer hunter, Funny?
@@tttappin oh boy...
I love how this guy is completely comfortable parodyingen himself.
Greatness.
What an awesome dude to do that
Seeing things tv
He knows what product he's selling and he's happy with it.
Are we all just going to ignore the fact that “parodyingen” isn’t even a word???
They gotta make an Owen Wilson family reunion, I'd pay anything to see that
Ali Rafiei wow
wow
Wow
or D. Washington family
wow
How the hell can Christopher Walken keep a straight face throughout this
by being angry as fuck :D
In 2:27 you can see that he's laughing inside
Iguanaintrouble he's dead inside
He was close to breaking up at 5:08
because he's Christopher Fuckin Walken
Bill Hader nailed it omg
Hello have you been my screat chrismas present~
There's an interview where he says he can't do CW, but i guess he's just being humble
He sounded too much like Pacino and the way he moved too much.
He can’t do Christopher Walken
He was the best by far, other then walken himself
christopher walkens christopher walken is spot on
nah... kinda sad.... hes obv reading the lines and hes not trying to hide it
Try being yourself. It's not that difficult.
I've seen better
It used to be better
@@ziggyvertov1829 l Hate Ghosts under my bed..
Lol
Love Chris Walken. Such a humble and down to earth person.
He’s a legend to these people. They’re doing this outta respect and not laughing at him as some may think.
We know that. What??? Think you're some smart as_ ,o better than everyone else?? We realize, recognize, e.g. understand the concept of the skit. Yikes!!
@@cathykirkland5237 not sure if you're being funny or just an idiot.
Even if he is a murder suspect
No one thinks that....
Literally.......no one
@@chuckfan1 👋🙂📽️🎞️
Bill Hader was the best SNL cast member that didn’t get enough love during their time on the show
He even out Walken'd the man himself
That was like 10 years ago, get over it man.
Hader, Sudeikis, Armisen, Forte, Samberg, Wiig, Fey, Poehler, Parnell, Rudolph is probably my favorite alumni. Everyone says your favorite SNL cast will usually be the cast when you're in your late teens-early 20's and it checks out for me. In 2005 I was 19 and that was Haders intro year. I loved 04'-12' for me that's 18-26 years old.
Also, Bill did get TONS of love but he was super shy and had really bad anxiety and stage fright so he flew himself under the radar. Cast and crew loved him. Lorne especially saw a lot in Bill and often encouraged him to break out of his shell.
He’s turned out to be an excellent actor. Barry was a great show and loved him in the movie with Wiig “skeleton twins”
Christopher Walken truly one of the most amazing guests on SNL
Someone in the writer's room said, 'What if we had a reunion so everyone can do their best Walken?'
'SOLD.'
The Carrey family reunion was hilarious too.
And then they tried it with Jim Carrey and Adam Sandler, those two sketches are freaking cringe-fests
Seth wrote it!!
... *writers' room. There are more than one of them.
@@AbbaZabbaOlyFrn No, the Carrey family reuion was one my favorites because he played so mani iconic characters over the years and his family members are those characters, just played by the cast.
In the background at 4:36.. Bill Hader still bobbin and shakin like Walken does. Guy stays in the zone even when he isnt in the scene!
🤣🤣🤣 omg he's amazingly talented
Lool
Yesss😂
Staying in character! Lol 😂 🕺🏻
I like how Walken went out of his way to parody himself by exaggerating his own speech and mannerisms. Lol
5:22 "Driving? I'm walking!" When everybody laughs at the end, there should of been a freeze frame while the credits roll up one hundred miles an hour.😅😅😅
That Amy Poehler impression may be my favorite ever. She kills me, Jason just has the look of appreciation and recognition on his face as he pats her on the back. Even her mouth movements before she even speaks, Amy kills me! "My doll's name is Jennie...She's a good doll"
She’s a good DALL 💀
Omg I thought it was Dane Cook 😂
She definitely had the best one 😂 she is funny fr
Chris Walken is the absolute best. Funny, humble, lives quietly and could kill with a glance
WOw
He is by far my favorite host. He's done it several times and kills it every time.
Bill Hader's Walken is better than Christopher Walken's Walken
I thought I was the only one thinking about it.
Bill Hader is the Best
Ohwaw
Killed it
Yeah, I think Hader won the Walken-Off, with Sudekis coming in second.
I took Christopher Walken a few minutes, but he eventually nailed that Christopher Walken impression.
It's either you can pull of Walken well or sound like you're a part of the Russian Mafia.
Oliver Law or an off brand Arnold Schwarzenegger
Apparently it's a Queens accent, but it really sounds like some guy from Brighton Beach,Brooklyn.
@@mysoncrumphaseveryinjury3853 He's from The Bronx.
Even the dolls hair is the "Walken" hairstyle lmao 🤣🤣🤣
One of my all time favorite SNL skits! They all did great 👍
Whenever I hear Christopher Walken talk i feel like he's wearing a wire and trying to say the code word to call for help.
Underrated comment right here folks.
LMAO
Everytime I hear Chrisopher Walken's voice, all I can think about is more cowbells.
I love it how Christopher keeps looking at the cue cards from the corner of his eye XD
They are all mocking the way he acts by not looking directly at the person he's talking to, have you never watched any Christopher Walken films ....jeez
@@JAS563ify They are doing it so it doesn't make his cue card reading obvious.
and yet it does not bother me at all ! not a single bit !
It fits his style. He doesn't look at people directly. Everyone is following his cue and not look at people directly
Don't know where I learned this, but SNL technique is to look at the cue cards the entire time so as not to draw attention to having to refer back and forth to them. Of course, it is obvious they're reading cards, but it's less disruptive to do it most of or the whole time. Even the regulars because changes to the script happen so much that there's no point in memorizing some scenes. Some actors do it better than others..
edit: I think it was on Howard Stern in the past few months an SNL person said this. Probably Wiig or Jost.
i cracked up when Christopher read the (Big hug)
Same haha
I have watched this way too many times and I enjoy it just as much as the first time I saw it each time. SO SO GOOD.
I can just imagine the meeting when they were pitching Chris all the ideas for the week's show:
Writer: "You know how everyone has an impression of you, and they're all terrible?"
Christopher Walken: "Yes?"
Writer: "Let's everyone do them right to your face. For five whole minutes."
That's harsh. Maybe the nervousness interferes with their performances.
Bill Hader had the best impression and Amy and Kristen had the most adorable impressions
The doll has the same hairstyle as everyone else in the family; hahahahaha, I'm done...
She's a good doll, but she doesn't like ghost-sss.
Every time i watch this video I laugh at the interview with Will Forte where he say's he was removed from the sketch because his impression was so bad... That's why he is the waiter lol.
WORSE THAN ARMISTEN'S??!?!?????!!!!
Forte could have brought on the cow bell.
@@CailenCambeul
LOL
@@efisgpr Agreed on Armisen.
I think Armisen is hilarious, and I'm one of the only people I know who absolutely loved Portlandia, but his Walken was painfully bad.
@@efisgpr *Armisen
Christopher Walken: "I need more cowbell."
We: "We need more Christopher Walkens."
I'll keep on dying laughing inside this set if I was a cast member. Their tones and Amy's doll will make me break character 20 out of 20 takes.
Walkens Walken impression is so great, glad hes so good being in on the joke😊
This was a great skit but it could’ve used a little more cowbell
I got a fever and the only remedy is MORE COWBELL
🔔🔔🔔
"WoOOow."
Slow clap. Well done
Only the "real ones" will get that.
"They're SPOOOKYYY" EPIC
Amy Poehler's impression is perfect.
Mihai Donțu it was fucking gash. out of all the impressions I am shocked someone picked out her's to give praise too. shame on you.
Sorry, I meant to write Christopher Walken. Christopher Walken's impression is perfect.
You mean "poifect" right?
'she is a good dall...'
She sounded Eastern European ffs. Brutal impression.
This is hilarious. The only thing more entertaining than a Christopher Walken impersonation is Christopher Walken surrounded by EVERYBODY doing Christopher Walken impersonations.
Christopher Walken is one good fvcking sport. Not only to do this sketch, but to dial up the Walken. Awesome. No one like him
They're all Talken the same!
Lmfaoooo
No.... they’re all..... TAWKIN ....... the ... sAme!
@@stevesun4946 Tawkin Walken 😆
"I saw the Deer Hunter....that was hilarious"
And Walken the Walken.
I love the laugh at the time when Christopher Walken's talking about Walkens and adolescents. lol
Walken was always my favorite guest and The Continental, my favorite sketch. He was great in it.
Yeah, it's true: Hader's Walken is more Walken than Walken's Walken.
"We finally saw the Deer Hunter. It was hilarious". 😂😂😂
Christopher Walken doing Christopher Walken. Christopher Walken inception.
Bill Hader = INCREDIBLE!!!!! He kicked it off so strong that everyone else was a little disappointing. They should have looped him back in for the last joke about walkin' so they could end just as strong.
They need to make a Pacino reunion
LOL! I don't think Christopher Walken should have said "big hug" after the "long time no see" but Bill Hader just ran with it "ehh.. big hug"
lol good observation! I went back to listen to it .... It almost sounds like someone farts right at that moment too?? 🤷♀️😆
Ha I had to play the big hug thing a few times I definitely think there’s a loud fart in there
This skit should be retitled " how NOT to read a cue card "
Amy is the first time I've ever heard a female Walken impression her SPooooky was spot on 😂🔥
When’s the Gilbert Godfried family reunion? Would be a blast.
An SNL alum, to boot!
My ears are bleeding just thinking about it
*Gottfried

i think Mr Walken is one of the most finest unique Actors we'll ever have on the Silver Screen. he's a one-off.
The first time I saw Christopher Walken was in the Deer Hunter and have been a devoted fan since. His early movies were serious, it wasn't until after Brainstorm with Natalie Wood and her subsequent death that he opened up as an actor, no type casting for him. His comedic turn on SNL are legendary, I've seen them all more than a few times (the Cow bells leave me in stitches every time)!
Everyone was great! And Christopher Walken clearly enjoys laughing at himself ❤❤❤
Big props to all the stars that do these skits. Have to have a good sense of humor to let everyone roast your mannerisms this hard.
The funniest part to me is:
"It's amazing. 2 months with them and now I talk just like a normal, American teenage boy"
With the grey hair🤣
Got to love Christopher Walken he’s such a tuff guy but really is a great sport people are for ever taking him off and he takes it all in good humour. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I like the touch where Walken is reading cue cards off screen and not making eye contact with his family. Because, c'mon, thats the most Christopher Walken thing I've ever seen, no eye contact on Saturday Night Live.
Christopher Walken doing an impression of Christopher Walken is absolute gold
Love the enunciation and separation of the words 'ghosts' and 'scare' is so good and funny.
Two of my favorite things combined, Christopher Walken and SNL. Could it be more if a perfect sketch? I think one of my favorite SNL sketches is him doing the plants with googly eyes. Genius.
They never even mentioned ol' Colonel Angus.
Drivin'? No! I'm Walken! Ahahah!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤙🤙🤙🤙
That's what he should have said, he messed up the punchline and said "walkING". 🤦🏼♂️
he is a legend!!!! and clearly has a great sense of humour!!😇😎😀
Missed a joke about coming out of the spacious comfortable walk-en closet
I love that he’s okay with this and participating! This is hilarious!
the only prescription for this family is more cowbells XD
they took the walken impression craze and just pushed it to riduclous places, comics just said lets take this impression that everyone does, and take the piss out of it as far as we can go. love it, this is what comics do.
I had to see this episode twice. Very hilarious and entertaining. Christopher Walken is a living Legend!
First time I've seen this. Walken doing walken is something magic 🤣👌🏼
Christopher walk in to find everyone is talkin Walken
There is a restaurant in Cape May, NJ that has a poster of Christopher on their hostess’ stand that simply says: Walkens Welcome. 😂😂😂
😂😂
Hair salon in Portland, Oregon has that sign too 😂
@@apj341 Also, a barber shop in downtown Atlanta, Ga.
Guess what? I got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell!"
More Cowbell!!! 😂
chhhaaawwwbeLLLL
i have problems .... reading these comments ... without speaking like ... a walken .. in my head. wowwww.
I cannot believe I had to scroll this far down for this comment
That’s “I got a FEE-vuh ... and the only pre-SCRIP-shun ... is more COW-bell!”
Walkin is a living legend. Everybody has an impression of him. Hader's impression is more of an embodiment.
The hair on everyone 😂😅😂😅
Deer Hunter, the most hilarious film of the 70's --
That's so messed up but I can't stop laughing 😆
I am so in love with Christopher Walken ...since I watch King of New York and still am
Yeah, King of New York was great! :)
This is underated family reunion. Hidden gems 😀
I just wish I could have seen Hader's face when Amy was doing her brilliant impression.
So glad I found this accidentally when searching for the other famous skit about the plants from the same episode. I remember watching this episode when was brand new and seeing this skit and enjoying it a lot the time
Amy as the little girl😆 I was dying 😂😂😂
A man who can make fun of himself is a guy I want to hang out with!!
Such flawless Walken impersonation. And he's not even trying!
shout out to seth and will forte go day drinking LOL
This. Is. Gold!!!! I am almost in hysterics...
in an interview, austin butler said he spoke to christopher walken for advice about going on SNL and walken said, just read the cue cards. 😂 he clearly lives by that advice
Christopher Walken doing his best to do a Christopher Walken impression 🤯😝
Started off hilarious, tears running down my face. Then it got old fast. And then at the end when Kenan came in it was funny again 🤣
Christopher Walken is an American national treasure
Kristen and Amy's impersonations are IMMACULATE !
The Walkens are a tolerant clan 😂
As I'm laughing I'm also imagining the amount of hairspray & gel required for this sketch 🤣🤔
Kind of sad when you realize he talks like that because he grew up around people who didn’t speak English well and had to think about the word before they said it, including his father.
i didn't know that :(
@@fresa9720 thats because its not true. .. his mom immigrated from Scotland (an English speaking country) and his father from Germany (but his father owned and operated a bakery in Astoria, NY).... he was around English speakers A LOT in New York!!!
You mean "his FAHHHthah"
Sad? He’s a millionaire because of it. I don’t call that sad, I call that the American dream.
@@dextermorgan4093 it's not even true so it doesn't matter
Amy's impression is great.
To be fair, that was actually a nice, pleasant family reunion.
Christopher Walkins is just awesome!!
"Everything in moderation your driving "
"Driving no im walken"
🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
Christopher Walken is like no other. Such a wonderfully unusual person.
