That Amy Poehler impression may be my favorite ever. She kills me, Jason just has the look of appreciation and recognition on his face as he pats her on the back. Even her mouth movements before she even speaks, Amy kills me! "My doll's name is Jennie...She's a good doll"
Hader, Sudeikis, Armisen, Forte, Samberg, Wiig, Fey, Poehler, Parnell, Rudolph is probably my favorite alumni. Everyone says your favorite SNL cast will usually be the cast when you're in your late teens-early 20's and it checks out for me. In 2005 I was 19 and that was Haders intro year. I loved 04'-12' for me that's 18-26 years old.
Also, Bill did get TONS of love but he was super shy and had really bad anxiety and stage fright so he flew himself under the radar. Cast and crew loved him. Lorne especially saw a lot in Bill and often encouraged him to break out of his shell.

This was one of the few genuinely inspired moments of the last 9 years of SNL... They did their all to try to break Christopher Walken's stride.. as he had done many times to the casts of episodes he hosted over the years.
They are all mocking the way he acts by not looking directly at the person he's talking to, have you never watched any Christopher Walken films ....jeez
Don't know where I learned this, but SNL technique is to look at the cue cards the entire time so as not to draw attention to having to refer back and forth to them. Of course, it is obvious they're reading cards, but it's less disruptive to do it most of or the whole time. Even the regulars because changes to the script happen so much that there's no point in memorizing some scenes. Some actors do it better than others.. edit: I think it was on Howard Stern in the past few months an SNL person said this. Probably Wiig or Jost.
Yeah. I laughed uncontrollably the first time I saw this sketch. The entire scene was amusing, but when Amy walked in and said "My dahl's name is Jenny" it went into a higher gear. Then I cried and couldn't stop laughing once "SPOOKY behavior" came out. lol I wish I could recapture that loss of control. But it's gone now. Saw this scene too often. Desensitized. Good memory, though. 😂

The first time I saw Christopher Walken was in the Deer Hunter and have been a devoted fan since. His early movies were serious, it wasn't until after Brainstorm with Natalie Wood and her subsequent death that he opened up as an actor, no type casting for him. His comedic turn on SNL are legendary, I've seen them all more than a few times (the Cow bells leave me in stitches every time)!
