My number 1 recomedation is get rid of the propane furnace and replace it with a Chinese diesel heater. Propane furnace will use 3X the fuel and 5X the battery to run over a diesel heater.
O Mandy I feel so sorry for you guys that you left Mayan Riviera behind and you guys went to the most rainy city, I lived in Vancouver for 26 years and now we moved to Arizona for clear skies, good luck guys
Congrats!! Looks like a good choice for home.... I gutted out the fridge and heater in my truck camper, and put in a woodstove where the fridge was... and couldn't be happier... I can actually wood fired bread now.
My folks were full time RV’rs for a numbers of years. They made a bunch of friends overtime. So, congratulations to you both, well the three of you. So a couple of recommendations. You might look into something like Good Sam, which is an RV club. The club allows you to get discounts at certain campgrounds. There are other programs out there, besides them. You might want to consider getting a surge protector that would connect between your RV and the power box at the RV parks. My folks got hit with a surge from a park once. So wasn’t cool. Happy travels!
Looks awesome! Looking forward to van life with Lloyd and Mandy! I would say solar panels, get starlink of your own internet etc. I can’t wait to watch your new adventures!
Didn’t know Lloyd had family living in Canada. Is there a video on how you met? Would love that. Get those sponsor stickers on. That’s how the surfers make money! Well done guys.
@@LloydandMandy Salamat for your reply ! Shame it didn't work out , but maybe a true blessing in disguise ! Wanna see you both driving your new RV back in Manila :) ..Have great journeys ahead !!
Hey nice pull on the RV guys you didn’t get into much detail about what it cost or what it need to have fixed or looked at at least . It looks great and I can tell you like it which is very important because you gotta live in it so great job
My husband and I have followed you two for awhile - we fell in love with Mexico and you had lived for awhile in our favorite spot - so happy you are back in Canada and got an RV - are you coming down highway 1 and going to be going through Regina Saskatchewan at all? We would love to meet up with you if you do and maybe have a Tim’s 😂❤
@@LloydandMandy Caycuse too windy rn, it’s on the water. Gordon bay is good rn bc there are a couple nice hikes, beach trail walks are nice too, kayaking is awesome on a sunny day. Lmk if u go-I’ll hook u up w/some kayaks, my cabin is there. You can do daytrip to Port renfrew, botanical beach is gorgeous. 👌
When buying a used RV, be VERY cautious. They are not very well built in the 1st place .Something will ALWAYS need to be fixed. Best items I've installed are solar panels, lithium batteries and 12v fridge.
Not much, maybe $150. But we'll invest some more into it eventually. The van in Mexico didn't work out as we had too many issues when we tried to purchase it.
How many miles are you getting for the 250? I don’t think that’s that bad actually for what I would use it for. I just want it to take my adult kids around and my grandchild for little trips.

haha, it definitely is rainy! But that's why we got the RV, we are thinking of heading down south to dryer weather soon

That’s awesome! Love your home on wheels. Can’t wait to see the tour.
So excited for you both. Head right across Canada to Liverpool, Nova Scotia guys. We’ll be waiting for you with beer and other treats!
Thanks Sue, we will be heading that way for sure but maybe when it warms up a little bit haha

The new mobile home looks awesome - I hope Bear likes it too!
he loves it so far! Well, it'll take some getting used to the house always moving but he's been outside swimming in fresh lakes and rivers everyday!

What ever happened to the VW camper you bought in Mexico ..did i miss an episode ? Good luck with your new adventure !
I was thinking the same!
It fell through
We had too many issues when we tried to purchase that we had to let it go unfortunately, but maybe it was just not meant to be.

Going to be fun to watch you personalize your new home!
We can't wait to renovate it, but first we have to figure what it needs!

If you camp on Vancouver island, Caycuse + Gordon Bay are our fav spots (both on Cowichan Lake)
amazing thank you, are they any good this time of year?

@@LloydandMandy Well, nothing is ever exactly as good looking as it is photographed, is it?
Good advice, but not everyone has endless gobs of money. Especially a young couple such as these.
How much to fix it? Worth it? What happened to the van in mexico

Good luck! Drive it to Milan to see me for a beer 🤣 cheers
Do a schoolie or something a little bigger? I feel you guys will outgrow an RV pretty quickly :(
gotta start somewhere though, maybe our next one
Whatever happened with the Kombi you bought in Mexico? I thought that was going to the home you traveled in.
it fell through
@@flash9436 thanks. I clearly missed when they spoke about it falling through.
We've talked about it in about 4-5 videos in detail.

Very nice 😋👍
hey welcome to Canada, I live near Ottawa , if you are close by come and stay with my wife and I :)
Are you guys on tiktok? Jw
Question. What is the RV costing to fill a tank? I’m looking to buy one for fun trips
It's not cheap, around $250
